Is the impulse generator used in the latest code? I don't see any updates on
the Forum.

I have observed the same wav problem not only AM but ssb also.
When playing a wav file it plays ok the first time. When complete it shifts the

the readout is not changed.
Move the vfo down a khz and back up a khz

I see about a 10db higher noise floor on the panadapter for all bands and
all modes. Switching between release 14, 15 and 16 - all parameters that I

approx. -130 db. The noise floor on 16 is approx. -120 db on the

I just checked. I do have NMAKE installed. I don't know what installed
it, but I presume it is C#, though maybe it was the Borland compiler.

Mike,
I see 10dB increase in the noise floor too when changing from Preview 15
to 16 with a dummy load, so there must be some antenna left :-)

I agree with Bill! I have never heard this on any forum. There should be no
risk or problem. My suggestion, which solves MANY problems of noise and
other gremlins is just to go down and buy a modest sized UPS and plug
everything SDR related (including computer) into the UPS. It has solved a

I am seeing about 10 db increase in noise floor over the previous issues.
What have I done to cause this to occur. Switching from release 14 and/or

shows a noise floor of approx. -120 db.

If you are just playing the file back with an audio program that would play
back music and such, you are getting what you should. Try playing it back
with PowerSDR! What is recorded is the raw output from the receiver which is
normally tuned 11 KHz off from the center frequency and then mathematica

When recording an AM signal on the sdr wave recorder, it plays back
through the speakers properly but the transmitted playback sounds like it is
off frequency by 11 kc or so. All you hear are the edges of the recorded voice
and what sounds like frequencies on one side of it.

I am pleased to announce that we have a new tool to help us track Bugs
and Feature Requests. Dale Boresz, WA8SRA, has written a web interface
to track these important facets of our software. This will give us, the
