I haven't looked at this too closely but could dataset_kstats_create() be
called more than once for each dataset?
We should probably also check to verify the leaf nodes are removed when a
pool is exported as well. I don't have any time to test this hypothesis
today but maybe tomorrow sometime.

The transition from csh to sh as a default root's shell will probably
save some CPU cycles for people using Chef, Ansible, etc thus pushing
FreeBSD toward green computing. Sysadmins bound to csh will be fine
until it remains in the base system and chsh works.
I shouldn't probably post here since I am only a voice from the userbase

Dear Enji,
it's probably high time to stop escalating this thread. Some people like
the way in which mergemaster copes with updates, some people like
etcupdate. With Git clean and smudge filters applied on local repo and
$FreeBSD$ IDs regenerated, mergemaster still works great and is more
ergonomic in use for at least two people.

Following this thread, where Bernd Walter wrote small howto:

I had converted root filesystem to ZFS on SD card used with
RaspberryPi2, then used it with no issues running 13-CURRENT for 6

I'd like to encourage you Developers to MFC as much as we can handle
