I lot of us have the sliptstreamer SpitFire that I got from eBay. Just
search for "Nighthawk sliptstreamer SpitFire " and you'll see lots of
options. I prefer the clear. The SpitFire is great for wind and does a
good job in the rain.
I have a new one in the box in my garage. I bought it to
Looks good I'll have to take a look at that one, Thanks

Hello Mike, i can't really tell you what you think looks good on your bike,

I know I put way more than 6 lbs on my bike every day with my

AirHawk, which seems appropriate for a Nighthawk. Costs more than its
weight in gold but it has alleviated the back pain issues that I was
having.

What kind of seat pad is that? I have a non-stock seat that's worse than the
original.

My 550 pipes are pretty much straight. I haven't figured out an inexpensive
way to tone them done.

Thanks for the help. After thinking some about it, I realized I still

I'm not a windshield person but do have Corbin seats on two of my bikes. Kinda'
hard at first but lower and you don't slide around. Big money but well spent.

I have a Plexifairing 2 on my NH 750 and I did notice an increase in
wind noise with my full coverage helmet after installing it. Using
earplugs has made all the difference though. I have none of the wind
fatigue from the buffeting on the arms and chest, and I can still hear
all the sounds around
I believe it is 18". That's one reason that I bought it was for the height.

I just installed a national windsheild on my 83 650NH and had the same
issue with noise. I also noticed the windshield works best at 50-55
mph and at full hiway speed works well only crouched over in a '
crotch rocket' position (actually very quiet in that position at 75).

I experience much the same, depending somewhat on the helmet, but I think it
is because the wind is deflected/concentrated across the top of your helmet
and its vents. Try ducking down - without lowering your chin/forehead, and
see if the sound reduces. Also raise up a little and you will ge
