I'm a digest subscriber and have been missing digests since last Friday
(missing 1234, 1235, 1239, 1244, 1245, 1246, 1249, 1252, 1253).
Anyone else experiencing this? Can it be fixed?

for twice the time of the one on the right. Obviously the image stands or
falls on its own merits, and I can see where I might change one or two
things if I shoot it ag

centre of the dials. The MZ-S's lock on the left hand dial is also a bit of
a pain (but I can live with it!)
To summarise and to quote Practical Photography: It's good, bloody good, and

Well, as some have already written, it's a fabulous lens. Nice handling and
build, very sharp indeed, and pleasant rendering of out-of-focus backgrounds
(and sometimes subjects but that's nothing to do with the lens!). In my
experience with it the

Just got back the first results from this lens. The sharpness, contrast and
colour are FANTASTIC. They just blow the 80-320 zoom away!

selection as choosing a shutter speed manually does not involve rotating the
dial through the extreme speeds ie to go from A to 1/60s on the MZ5n you
have to run through all the speeds from 1/2000s down to 1/60s - not a big
deal but the MZ-S offers an improvem

Just a tip that you probably know already:
Remove the 1A filter (if you have one fitted), as the flat glass surface can
reflect light sources such as streetlight, directly towards your subject!!!
The curved front element reduces this risk dramatically.

we're having at the moment, I will look seriously into the miniature
landscape options (including macro) suggested by a few list members. On the
really rainy days I have been looking for the Magnum Landscape book
