Ain't that the truth?
My main camera bag is a Domke F1, procured at a fantastic discount
when the camera shop I worked at in Pittsburgh went out of

Yep, you've got what I am looking for.
I wish this was sold in the US, so that I can see it in person in
a store, or at least order from Amazon and return in case I didn't like
it.
That's why I am curious if anybody has seen similar designs from other
brands.

The Lower Prorunner 350AW is my travel bag. 70-200/2.8 on one side, 15-30 in
the middle below the K-1+24-70/2.8. Spare body next to the 15-30, remaining
room in the main compartment for spare batteries, chargers, whatever. Back
pocket for iPad and paper files (I used to carry a 13” laptop there)
Which is *WHY* the infernal quest is eternal.

Not quite true, there can be a perfect camera bag for a particular day with
particular gear. But the next time you need to carry your camera someplace
it's likely to totally suck.

I'm a bit skeptical of these sorts of things. When I was doing a lot of
work travel I got a convertible travel bag, that could be worn like a
backpack, but could also be carried like a suitcase. It wasn't really
good at either, though it made a better backpack than suitcase.

I absolutely love my fastpak 350 for my aps gear, but it hasn't worked so well
for my K-1. I just had an errand in sf around the corner from Samy's and while
in there I looked at bags. They have the tenba shootout 24l which seems very
nice, but it is just too small to carry my monopod inside, so
I've come to the conclusion that what I really need is a TARDIS disguised as a
camera bag.

I have different bags for different purposes:
1. Local travel (by car), with lots of options (2 bodies, many lenses).
2. Air-travel (1 body with 2 zooms and 2-4 primes).
and some variations of those...

It looks like it was launched about a year ago.
