A little pricier, but I have the ASUS PA249Q. Has both sRGB and Adobe
RBG gamuts. Had a very positive writeup in Shutterbug a year or so ago.
There's probably an upgraded model in that family out by now.

I thought I got a good deal on an HP ZR2740w from B&H. I eventually,
after a couple of tries, got a replacement that seems to work

I have a Dell u2407 at work, and a u2410 at home. They are both
excellent wide-gamut monitors that were very reasonably priced.
I don't think any of their current 24in monitors are wide-gamut, though.
