Anything that premiers as part of Scifi Channel's most dangerous night
of television you should set your lowest expectations. Was the Stir of

I'm looking forward to it, despite the changes. Good call on the lines on the
face. I hadn't thought about that, but you're right. Now I'm picturing a
superman comic with him standing, arm outstretched, a la the Surfer or Galactus.

Can't say, Tracey. Missed that one. And I wanted to see it.

To paraphrase the Biblical quote, I wept.

It is really, really bad. The only Highlander movie that was good was the
first one with Conner McLeod. The others all sucked and this is no exception.
One thing I loved
Boy that was crap. All I can say is damn how low the Highlander francise
has falling. IMO it now needs a major reboot starting onward from the first
movie and the series and ditch every thing else.Otherwise just end it.

Folks, I fear that I've picked up some disturbing news about this from a friend
who runs another website. According to him, this trailer isn't even in the
movie, was shot just for ad purposes.

You guys have *got* to see this Highlander debacle just to laugh/cry at how bad
it is! The bad guy--some crap about a Guardian who protects the secrect of
the Source--looks like Thomas Hayden Church in his Spidey-3 pumped up bod, with
white makeup applied. He moves at superspeed thanks to his
I actually like the series especially after they brought in the Watchers

I actually liked the series after they bought the Watchers and the
character of Methos in. This one lost me after 30 minutes. I didn't
even slip back in to see the end. Thank Goodness, I had a DVD of
Hustle to watch. At least it was accurately titled.

I only saw the last hour. I woke up early this morning and could not
get back to sleep, so I saw part of the encore showing. What a mess. I
did not understand the ending. Did that maniac go around dicing up all
the immortals so that Duncan could conceive a baby in a bath of light

Whenever I hear that some of my favorite movies are going to have a
sequel on Scifi Channel's most dangerous night of television, I assume
that they will be unwatchable. I don't even bother any more. What is
disturbing is that these people are not even aspiring for
mediocrity-which would not
did you watch the whole thing? Please explain the plot to me if so. Some major
questions (Spoilers, but it really doesn't matter):
1) Exactly what *is* the Source and where was it? Was it accessed via a portal
to another dimension, or does it physically reside on Earth?
2) What the hell did the
And remember, Tracey, I read this was the first of a *trilogy*! That might
explain the abrupt ending--it might, if the rest of the stuff didn't suck!
Martin may know more, but what I got was, the Source protects itself against
unworthy Immortals accessing it. Its power can give one super
Justin, it bothers me.
What if you look up a woman on Yahu Personals, and she says that she's
five-six, long brown hair and drives a Lamborghini? And, when yous how up for

brown hair was from Elmo's Wig Emporium and the

You were only happy because of the jet scene? The rest of the trailer, it

The whole thing. I'm thinking, to my eternal chagrin, that the Source is
analogous to something used in a series of movies by a guy named Lucas. (No
vomiting smilies when you need them, dangit...)
The alignment thing? Probably just to swipe a few million for the FX budget.
Plot-wise, maybe to

Let me know when SciFi makes it up to killer rabbits. We've had
alligators, snakes, and every water critter known to man. I guess
that they've made it to land now.
