I have used CS in my hot tub for about 6 months now.
I use 2 quarts to 250 gal of water and add in a pinch of copper sulfate.
I would think that it would take so much CS in a swimming pool that
it might not be practical..But there might be a way.

You might check some local places for close-outs ..The spring is best time to plant
as it is soo hot in the sumer the young plan t has a hart time .
