Hey Julian, a few minutes ago I had a look at your scene. Great setup for the null. Easy and fast! Thanks for that. Andreas On 6/16/2013 6:27 PM, Julian Johnson wrote: Not sure how helpful this is but it shows how to drive the kinematics of a 'Follower' null with a spring constraint acting o

Thats brilliant! I knew it needed to a loop of some kind to reproduce the simulate particle node but I just couldnt figure it out. Thanks for the help, I'm going to study this now and get my head around it properly. On 16 June 2013 17:27, Julian Johnson wrote: > Not sure how helpful this is but

Not sure how helpful this is but it shows how to drive the kinematics of a 'Follower' null with a spring constraint acting on its ICE Kinematics. It requires a simulated tree. I don't think there's any way of producing the same effect without simulation. With only a modeling stack you only have

Hi Stephen, thanks for the reply. I have looked at that and it works fine with particles but on an object the same thing can't apply. Here's where I have got to with my understanding, which is probably flawed. Forces in particles are added using the simulate particles node, which is like get data

Ice Spring Constraint

Hi I'm fairly new to Softimage having recently jumped ship from 3dsMax. I've made a few compounds, but this one I'm trying has really got me stumped. I'm trying to create a spring constraint using ICE, but rather than using particles, I want to add the compound to a null, this null will then be pa
