of the linux kernel.
Still the reports here seem to indicate that apport tries to check for
non-ubuntu kernels and fails (i.e. always things you're running a non-
ubuntu-kernel)..

The problem I am experiencing is that dkms build logs are empty.
I know why oss4 fails to build and found two reasons for it to fail, and
since the build command is printed it is possible to run it outside of
dkms and see the errors.

Looking at the Xorg.conf, I've noticed that you use 'vesa' as the graphics
driver. That's probably why the HDMI output doesn't work. Take a look at the

I tried to get unity 3.8.16 from natty-proposed but it does not show up,
so I got it from the ubuntu-desktop ppa. The indicators on the left in

Did the oneiric live image you tested have the kernel 3.0? I see that
kernel 3.0 was published in oneiricon 2011-06-09[1]. So if the live
image was fairly recent it would have it.
It might be easier for you to do testing with an installed 3.0-rc
mainline kernel[2].
I have noticed that if the GIMP main windows is put in the second
monitor the global menus behave as they should, so it seems that what I
comment in this bug is by design, secondary windows do not have a menu.

I get the very same behavior on my lenovo X200s using current 11.04. I

1200 hpijs pcl3, 3.11.5 [en] it takes 5 minutes draft and high
quality mode to print. After initiating the print job ls | lpr, there
is little CPU activity caused by ghostscript,
