I have added
capability dac_read_search,
to the cups-pdf section of /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.cupsd and also chmod
700 ~/PDF and $HOME.
capability dac_override,
is already present in the general cupsd section.

freeze but it was so slow~
I just installed xserver-xorg-video-intel-dbg 2:2.6.3-0ubuntu10~bug359392~1, I

I have a similar problem, my notebook Dell D630 usually does not resume from
suspend
mode. It managed to resume successfully once or twice only, all the other

I can confirm that krandrtray workaround works. I just clicked on
KRandRTray.desktop file (located in usr/share/applications/kde4) and a
new application Screen resize rotate appeared in the panel. If user
will not close this application, it is automatically loaded when the
computer is booted.

This is affecting me too. I tried different acceleration methods in
xorg.conf - XAA, EXA and UXA - and all are *VERY* slow, almost
unbearably slow. I use KDE effects on and yakuake/konsole take forever
just to go from one tab to the other (shift-arrows). Everything feels
slower, much slower, Xorg

I only got this issue after upgrading from Intrepid to Jaunty. My
problem is that I have to emulate a virtual desktop because I'm using
twinview (with nvidia). When I am not emulating a virtual desktop, I

Problem does not occur by replacing network-manager with wicd.
Unfortunately the DWL-520+ can only connect to a D-Link Dl-614+ (which
is the matching 22Mbit-router) without encryption. When I turn on any
possible mode ( WEP HEX open/shared, WEP ASCII open/shared, WPA-PSK) of
encryption
