docking station.
The video card is a intel 4500 MHD.
When I plug a second screen (Acer AL2223W), it is well detected (brand and
model).

Waldeck's method works for me too. Video does not flicker for me now.
There is a bit of tearing now and then, though -- in both, windowed and
full-screen mode. CPU usage remains high too - about 30% for mplayer. I
guess this is what makes the video freeze for a moment when I am

Please follow these steps so that I can see what's happening:
1. Enable the universe repository and refresh your packages list.
2. Download and install the deb package of synaptics-report (which
works on hardy, jaunty and karmic) from this PPA:
Confirmed. Three finger right click does not work like it used to.
I don't see and point to scrolling on the right side of the touchpad,
since you can scroll with two fingers. Perhaps this is why three finger
right click doesn't work.
