Just bought an AMP+, connected it on a 1st generation A+, put it in a
box and got it worked in 2 minutes with piCorePlayer. Very nice way to
have a smart amp

Greg the screens come in various sizes and resolutions , but the 5 inch
screens seem to be 800x480.
The touch functionality comes through unspecified GPIO

jivelite works fine from the hdmi output.
there is a thread here about "slimmer" it uses pCP with buttons and a
16x2 LCD.
now i have no idea on the how to bits, but if slimmer can use buttons
and flicr replicates buttons, what your looking for must be easily
doable ??

Makes sense that if the HW support isn't in PCP due to the size of code
and only needed for particular hardw

Hi all,
I had a detailed conversation above with bpa about this problem
(messages #344 until around #380), so I'll summarise and update with new
info.
Playing iPlayer streams (both live and listen again) hangs my PCP box.
Webserver, SSH all become inaccessible/time out, the audio stream
stutters
Ralphy, the beta package is ready for "prime time".
