IDVD 5's help says you should have free disk space equal to twice the size
of your project , ie if 4gb project then need 8 gb free disk space.
I have all my project and the iMovie files etc on an external firewire
drive.
Should the 8 gb free space be on my start-up disk or on the external dive?
There is a also conflict with a driver from iShock that causes this.
If you've got iShock I would be very suspicious it was this. Check
the Apple discussion boards for more info.

got down to zero KB and I had a word doc to save so I deleted 400MB of
space but as I did it was chewed up instantly. I then attacked my music
direct from the itunes folder and did a secure delete which liberated

a few weeks ago I posted asking for advice about conflicting measures
of hard drive space on my 10gb G4 mac.
Thanks to all who helped out, but unfortunately I still have the
problem...I downloaded software that would check for invisible files
and found many...but not 900mb worth

I have an odd scenerio ... my 10gb harddrive shows up with 350mb
space remaining in its window once opened..if I check the drive with
nortons or techtools I have about 1.3gb!! I know it was the latter
about 3 days ago!!! Has anyone an idea what is happening here?
