Hello Brian,
No more then 8db in my playbook anymore. And horz. if at all possible.
Sectors on 900 is the best way to go too.
I got an Antel 11db with downtilt that I would sell if you really want a
vertical omni. Heavy duty antenna.

Hello KyWiFi,
As someone who has many towers with 900 omni's ( and many years
supporting them), this combo ( SR9 plus mikrotik/starOS/whatever) eliminates
the desire to ever deploy an omni again. IMHO.
Some of our most rural areas are so polluted in 900mhz, an omni just
doesn't cut it.

We can hardly do 3 miles at times with 900mhz.

settings. Not sure what Mikrotik has done, although nstreme may

Hello John,
Any chance the 900 stuff will become similarly priced? Also, why not
package units in one box when buying in bulk? Would seem to be cheaper
to ship and less waste to group multiple orders in one box.

Hello ccooper,
Why go higher then 9db? The pattern will shrink to paper thin
figuratively speaking. We have wy better luck with 9db or less
at 900mhz.

Excellent post Mark, I think a database should be put together that
can list what is available and what people can bring into a situation
like this.
