pullen and saunderson mp3s
Could anyone tell me where I might be able to find full-length Stacey Pullen or Kevin Saunderson MP3 dj sets? Maybe if somone with a fast connection could e-mail me one? I've found a bunch on RA but I would like to make some CDs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Terrence Parker Iowa City
ROTATION - Gabe's Oasis April 28th Tristan Watkins(Brothas and Sistas) Moonraker(Brothas and Sistas) Terrence Parker(Detroit/Intangible) Full Disclosure: I work at Rotation, doing sound, and all the people here are my friends. Those who know me know I try and tell it straight, but I want my biases out in the open. Tristan Watkins is old school Iowa City -- not only was he the first guy to start a weekly event in a mainstream club here, he went to grade school here. So it's always great to see him back at the turntables. He started out the evening caning Chain Reaction and Basic Channel records, gradually building to a storming finish. Tristan knows how to play it for both the heads and the kids, and I think he had it both ways -- he's got nothing to prove at this point so his sets are always exploratory, risky undertakings, made more exciting on nights like Saturday when he's really in the groove and hitting the outside shots. Moonrakker did a similar gear change in his set starting out with hip hop and ending up in drum and bass. His DB sets have always been storming, but Saturday he played a mix of old and new tracks that burned bright. As much as I like drum and bass, I've been bored by most of the DB DJs I've seen loately -- they're all chasing after the same small pool of records every month so they all sound the same. It's really nice to see someone take some chances to bring out the peculiar energy the best tracks have. Terrence was returning to Iowa City after having to cancel his last scheduled appearance due to his ear problems. And I think I speak for everyone here that he gave us at least twice the show to make it up to us. He even brought a big box of mix CDs and gave them all away. Gabe's was as packed as I've ever seen it for his set, and there were 250 sweaty crazies totally going for it down front for his entire set. With Terrence you always get all the food groups of DJ'ing -- mixing, scratching, tricks, and killer tracks. But more than that TP on the decks is just like TP in person -- generous to a fault, honest, and someone whose mother must have taught him to always try to make everyone he touches feel special. It's hard to even write about TP without sounding corny, because we've all been marketed fake sentiment so often that we are uncomfortable around real deal. The fact is that he touches people with his music, straight up. And it's impossible to exaggerate how much Terrence's appearances here have meant to the local scene. Of all the 'name' DJs that have come here, he's the one who has been the most supportive of what we do here. From doing in store appearances, to radio shows, even down to the point of subscribing to and reading our local mailing list. He's been a true friend to Iowa, and we hope he remains a frequent visitor. And his in store Friday was remarkable, not so much because of the music (which was great) but because the whole time he was spinning he was talking non stop to people at the counter. When he gets a head of steam up on a subject he's positively testifying. The last person I've heard speak who was as articulate and positive as Terrence was Jesse Jackson, and I think TP can give him a run for his money. So the bottom line is: Iowa Love TP, and Saturday night, he loved us all right back. And isn't that how it should be? kent williams -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: (313) Inner City was re: Track Collectability??
Devon: You have a copy of: Inner City--Ain't Nobody Better 12 (US Virgin) Inner City is Detroit's Kevin Saunderson and Paris Grey. The UK 10 release of this has less mixes, but the better mixes, in my opinion, are on the domestic (for North Americans) release. If you enjoy that track, I can recommend the album from which it comes: Inner City--Big Fun LP (US Virgin; titled Paradise for the UK version) and the other singles from that album: Big Fun, Good Life, and Do You Love What You Feel. And if you buy the 12 for Whatcha Gonna Do With My Lovin' (a later-released downtempo track), the B-side of the 12 has Big Fun LP's Set Your Body Free (remixed by Marc Kinchen). All of the abovementioned material should be easy to obtain. Hope this helps. Fwd:(313) beyer and parisio @ sona on friday review
I agree with your statement about gaetano Parisio. I saw him the first time he played in Toronto last year (strobe) and it was INSANE hard. But, later that year I was in london england and saw him along side Ruskin, Beyer, and Simms (I know. so good) and it was all very melodic. None of the hard ass banging shit he played in Toronto. I was most impressed. Rich. radius
Had a blinding time at Radius in Cardiff on Friday - probably our busiest and best night so far. We finally managed to entice Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood (2 Lone Swordsmen) to Wales and they didn't disappoint... Raeph played the first hour and warmed up with a very eclectic set taking in everything from Mustang, Seiji and Ian O'Brien to Maurizio's M4, Kerri Chandler's 'Atmosphere' and Derrick Carter's mix of Marcus Nikolai's 'Bushes' on Classic. I followed with some tough deep house including some old classics from Chez Trent, Schatrax and Joshua. Keith Tenniswood stepped up at midnight as the dancefloor was grooving nicely, and proceeded to rock the place stupid with two hours of pure electro funk. A serious dose of UR (Electronic Warfare, The Swarm, Hi-Tech Funk etc etc), Kraftwerk (great cut-up with two copies of Expo 2000), Anthony Rother and co went down like a storm with the crowd, leaving Weatherall to finish things off. He kicked off with an hour of deep, dubbed out electronic house including plenty of Perlon, Playhouse, Kompakt etc plus loads of things I'd never heard before, gradually increasing the tempo and intensity until by 3AM the whole floor was rocking to tough, funky techno. Things finished off with the ubiquitous 'Groove La Chord' and 'Jaguar', to an amazing reaction - these two tunes are surely the defining dancefloor techno anthems of the turn of the millenium... Overall an inspiring night which proved that uncompromising underground electronic music is stronger than ever, and that good music and open minds make for an awesome party... Next time we have Tyler T-Bone Stadius coming over from Canada, and another special guest to be confirmed... Cheers, Tom

Swop is a German label based out of Oberursel that has been releasing material since '97. To date they have 16 eps out that range in style from hard minimal techno to tech- trance and even some more acid flavored number as well. Some of the better known producers on this label include Oliver Leib as Radical Impression, Max Reich as Rebound, and Andreas Kraemer as Sharpshooter.
