Re: (313) New Stuff
Hey, so I maybe feeling sorry for myself because I can't afford records, but today I'm feeling like the kid in the playground everyone wants to beat up because he's got the super-coool new toy. So my new item is: A Kraftwerk Box Set woo! It comes in a nice little white box with 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 on the front. There's 8 CD's in there - most of the LP's digitally remastered. Each CD is in an individual card sleeve, with LP artwork. Only artwork that is different is Trans Europe Express, and on the back of each CD it says, 1, 2 etc and the tracklist. Don't know if there's anything different about the LP's as I haven't listened yet. It's very cool, and I'm very chuffed with it! Not sure where you can buy them from or how much they are. It appears I've made a tit of myself. (I know this will come as no shock to you) Ivan posted up the Mills/Hood link yesterday, so being a nice chap, I thought I'd post it up on Little Detroit as the heads there seem to like that sort of thing and alot of them aren't on the list. So, me being me, I just c&p'd the link and posted it. Except I think I posted the wrong one! Does anyone have the right link so I can post it for them? RE: (313) new york record stores?
My info (or rather experience) is 8 years old but back then Sonic Groove and Temple were good places, not sure of street names but both at the lower end of the village (where the streets stop being grid iron pattern), SG slightly West of centre (think maybe Lafayette is a street round there) near quite a few other vinyl places and Temple was a bit East. Hopefully NYC 313ers will correct this info it is now completely out of date!
RE: (313) new york record stores?
yeah, out of date :) temple's closed and sonic groove moved to east to 13th and Avenue B (check their website) -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, August 19, 2004 1:41 PM To: 313@Hyperreal.Org Subject: RE: (313) new york record stores? Novation A Station $250 Kawai Q80 $60 due to the buyer backing out, I'm offering my Novation A Station synth up for sale again. I've also reduced the price to $250 US. It's in like new condition and includes manual and power supply. info: http://www.vintagesynth.org/novation/astation.shtml also: I still have too many sequencers laying around here so I'll sell the Kawai Q80, 32 track hardware sequencer (a classic Detroit sequencer used by Kenny Larkin, Dan Bell, R. Hawtin and myself back in the day). in very good condition with manual and power supply: $60 US http://www.vintagesynth.org/misc/sequencers.shtml#q80 sean deason

Re: (313) iridite
Hi Alex, it's a track from the next Iridite EP by FAO Jesus aka Samuel, an old friend of mine form Salford orginally but resident in Glasgow for the last 10 years. He released an excellent album of non-dacefloor oriented, warm, mini epic-productions a couple of years ago- very hard to define- sometimes smooth. occasionally difficult and spiky. He performed live at the Sub Club a few months ago and one of his tracks seemed to fit alongside the two others we had planned for the EP already- hopefully you should get to hear it all in November/December: Iridite Productions- Profit and Loss (IR005) FAO Jesus- tsetseflysoul (FAOj0013.1) is the name of his album- don't think he has a website unfortnunately cheers Jason On 19 Aug 2004, at 15:14, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Jason.
