Maybe he did it purposely, to avoid being sued by Gene Roddenberry. - Greg (Peeing his pants over getting to see Ulrich Schnauss and Mark Verbos at 2 separate events tonight)
Re: (313) New Dark Comedy LP
i like the old dark comedy, but i gotta say the new album is much better. maybe not better, just different than most things i'm hearing right now (as opposed to the old dark comedy which is very much a part of a sound/time/place) i really think kenny stretched the creative muscle on this one. RE: (313) On reflection
Yeah, I think Technotourist do that with Scan 7 - lets just see what we can build and who will help. Shout out KJ... ---> Well, I was actually the one who helped setting up this year's edition of TBPT, together with Scan 7. The sad part is that I won't be able to make it over to Detroit next year. Construction has begun on the house my girlfriend and I have bought so I simply won't have the money nor the time (we need to do all the work inside, including the second floor, heating, plumbing, electricity ourselves!) next year. That doesn't mean I don't want to help out for the next edition, but I certainly won't be able to put in the same amount of hours I did this year. But it would certainly be a nice idea to bring everybody together. Every year there's a few separate and loose initiatives to meet up with people and in the end everybody seems to find one another anyway, but one initiative to bring everybody together at one point would be great. Mind though that things get pretty hectic in Detroit during the festival and meeting up or simply making it on time to appointments tends to be difficult. (313) On reflection
This list is pretty fine - I've had loads of help from people here - often beyond the call of duty. I've no desire to know, nor do I care what anyone gets up to in their spare time - all I care about is what come out of the speakers. We humans aren't perfect but everyone on this list goes up to make it what it is and while we'll all never agree on every single issue - no one can accuse us of not caring. I do look forward to reading it every single day. I always take people as I find them and while I do have to spend some of my time listening to rumours, I always choose to ignore them and make up my own mind or I'll ask the individual outright. I've already started saving for DEMF 2005, I want to meet the people here, share a beer, some food and some rather dodgy dance movies. So rather than spend our energy on shouting each other down and checking out who's got the biggest, why don't we organise a party for us all to meet, play and eat in 2005? We have enough time to make it happen and we have the people. I have some resources that I'm happy to share - what do you all say? Cheers Martin

From: "Renegade808" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> you would figure that someone who is in a position that josh is in then he would be ALOT more professional about what he say's in public forums...and i am sure this does wonders for him as a representative for URB... but i guess if these are the people URB wants to represent them then i guess thats on them.. We are not our jobs.
