(313) correct url for andrew duke downtempo live pa; plus an uptempo pa link
posted the wrong url first time; sorry; correct one is below. detroit content: first 38 minutes is a live pa, starts with a ur id, ends with a track with electrifyin' mojo vox. after that i played tracks and remixes from me cos there was supposed to be a dj on to close the night but he couldn't show. the track that comes on at 38:25 is a remix i did of our own phonopsia; this will be released soon on an album to be released on phthalo. just got the master the other day; mastered by mark vapourspace gage. here's the download/ stream link: http://andrew-duke.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] minto told me this uptempo live pa from me has a detroit vibe and thought i should post it too (nope, minto, no ur or basic channel samples in there! :)): http://andrew-duke.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] take care and hope you enjoy. andrew -- Andrew Duke scoring/sound design/source http://andrew-duke.com Cognition Audioworks label [Andrew Duke, Foal, Clinker, Granny'Ark] http://cognitionaudioworks.com

(313) Stefan Robbers interview online
Hi, Yes, we are still here. This time we have an interview with dutch techno icon Stefan Robbers. Stefan was responsible for the music behind names like Terrace, Florence, R.E.C., Con Man and as one half of the Acid Junkies., He recorded for labels such as Planet E., Buzz, General Productions, Djax-up-beats and of course his own Eevo Lute Muzique label. You can find the whole interview here: http://www.technotourist.org/modules.php? op=modloadname=Sectionsfile=indexreq=viewarticleartid=49 Or go to http://technotourist.org and follow the links from there. Re: (313) Track ID
Yes it does! :) But that is because we dutchies also know Robin Albers as a producer of really cheesy house tunes and as a radio DJ. However what loon would include Computer World and then Numbers later rather than the Numbers / Computer World 2 segue? (unless that's what they mean by Numbers).

Here, in Brazil, you can find brazilian editions of ALL Kraftwerk albuns in almost any used records store. Sometimes even import editions in heavy weight vinyl. I can't the ultra rare traxx point either. Kowalsky On 10/01/2005, at 14:29, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Ultra Rare Traxx? I wasn't aware that these are that ultra rare. Re: (313) Krafwerk Booty
I think its all Ultra Sales Pitch. I listened to the samples on nuloop. Same common tracks as far as I can tell, and the mastering is the same as it was in the early 80's. Type in Kraftwerk in Gemm, hit show all releases on vinyl, and wait 5 minutes for your computer to load all the sellers that can hook you up with the vinyl. non-the-less martin, thanks for keeping an eye out. You've got it together man. On Monday, January 10, 2005, at 11:04 AM, Kowalsky wrote: Here, in Brazil, you can find brazilian editions of ALL Kraftwerk albuns in almost any used records store. (313) Monolake in NYC Thursday
Thursday January 13 The Bunker presents Monolake (Chain Reaction, Imbalance Computer Music | Berlin) live pa Monolake will have a new album out on his own Imbalance Computer Music label this summer. This album is a return to more dancefloor oriented material, and his new live set will reflect this. We have been huge Monolake fans ever since they (used to be a duo, now solo) were releasing music for the infamous Chain Reaction label. In addition to making some of the best electronic music of the past decade, Monolake has also worked on programming some of the best music software, including Max/MSP and the ubiquitous Ableton Live. RE: (313) Track ID + wedding playlists
Thats exactly what I'm trying to say... The fact that people recognize it doesn't make it a classic, or whatever (no one said it is, I know)... I just think it's a mediocre track. One you see on MTV. But I do acknowledge the fact that it was a big hit. But so is kaviar. And that tastes like sh*te. Paz Oh, and James? I hope you had a great time @ that partee, don't get me wrong, I just saw your email as a great oppertunity to finally share my feelings about 'plastic dreams' with the rest of you...! Great! I used to mix it alot with the 'bells of NY' back in the day . . but everytime I pull it out recently I feel all sleepy .. people recognize it though . which is a winner move for the older people on the floor . I just dj'ed my mates wedding last weekend ' it was quite strange because it bought together an old dance crew from 10 years ago' which suits my collection really well .but it did feel very retro' and it made me feel old ..eh' btw ' never dj weddings luckily the oldies were into Jazz so Theo Parish eased into Thelonius Monk ' with a bit of Mouse on Mars Yello ..seemed to keep the crowds at bay .. or confused enough to leave me alone . ha any other 313 wedding playlists ? .simon ... (313) Peter Shapiro' Rough Guide to Drum Bass?
Who the hell is this guy and why did they allow him to write the Rough Guide to Drum Bass? It's got to be the worst in the series. For anyone who doesn't have the book - they broke it up into two sections: DB and Down Tempo/Big Beat they stuck Air into the DB section and DJ Trace into the downtempo/BB for starters it's also highly biased against any jungle/DB that has any jazz leanings - so much of the same attitude that is throughout Reynold's book wish Penguin books would have given the assignment to someone else because this is crap MEK

i remember that was one of the few rays of light during the rave era here (living in halifax, the music in the rave era that got played here was 95% of the crap); Actually this is a very similar story ' to my relationship with Plastic Dreams .. and most likely why it is more popular than it perhaps deserves to be .. it was certainly different to the general fodder being feed to us at the time .. I suppose its like . that 'Children' track .. while awful in its own life cycle' it was a doorway for the generic dancefloor to discover the other dancefloors available in more discrete forms locations ..
