RE: (313) UR Party in Belgium/Gent

2005-01-23 Thread Wildtek Concept / DJ Dimitri Pike
Yeaaah really a good party. All dj's was excellent without exception.
A very special ambiance at this party...

And if you can, listen to the 'True Colors' DJ mix by Dj 3000, funky and very
representative of his performances !

A big thanks to all for this party !

In wait of the TT report, you can find some 'little low resolution' pics at

Re: (313) Infiniti Collaborations

2005-01-23 Thread Ken Odeluga

I think that Juan and Terrence worked together for the Mind & Body=20
album. He is not credited but i am sure they worked together already=20
for some records... i think :)

KJ

Yeah, I heard this too ... can't remember where now, which sort of
diminishes how true it might be, but it sounded convincing at the time.
k

not sure about "mind & body", but i'm just listening to "Infiniti -
Skynet"

on which Terrence is credited on 'electric circus', 'thought process' &
'walking on water'.

 has Terrence released anything lately?

nath

Where are you reading this please Nath? It strikes me that it might be
that the liner notes for the original release of Skynet.

rather than the Tresor editions. Maybe those credit Terrence Dixon and
the Tresor release does not?

Terrence Dixon hasn't released anything since 'From The Far Future'
(AFAIK). I don't know where I heard that Juan Atkins had assisted in
the production of that, but, correctly or not, that's what I did hear.
(AFAIK, 'Into Sub-Luna' on the 'Orietta St Cloud' comp, from 2001, was
an old track from the above LP given a different name.)

I think Eno's point was just that "new" does not NECESSITATE
"interesting" - that is, he's suggesting that simply creating original
work does not automatically assure that it is work of value/quality.

Hear, hear! I don't forget to mention that guy who was playing before
DJ3000 and James Pennington! He dropped the sweetest collection of deep
and funky detroit cuts. James and Franki blew me away, the crowd was
really into it, lots of old and new friends being around, and i must
say that this party was one of the bests i have been to in a long
while...

More nights like this please!

Now i need some sleep :)

The Decadance club (Gent-Belgium) build on her reputation in the underground
scene for years. They earn all support and respect from the scene. The
future will be bright with more clubs like decadance :)
