Re: (313) Synthnews! AudioRealism releases Bass Line Pro
nice one! looking forward to playing with the demo. i like bassline. i love the wet ploppy, non acid bass sounds it makes and i've got a feeling the pro will be great at these. james [EMAIL PROTECTED] 01/18/06 08:10 PM To 313@hyperreal.org cc Subject (313) Synthnews! AudioRealism releases Bass Line Pro Hi guys, a bit of spam on my behalf this time. We have released our new synthesizer, Bass Line Pro as OsX AU and PC VST last night. It's basicly a semi modular synthesizer with step sequencer, few are referring to it as 303 mod already but it's definitely way more than that. I'd personally describe its featureset as sort ofArp Ms-303, however it's not meant to emulate anything . I think Mr. Gianelli will dig this one :D (if you're into software synthesis at all). I don't remember the Electronic Music Council knighting you as the best thing since sliced bread. I'm all for believing in your abilities/being confident but if you feel the need to brag then you should be able to back-it-up. its funny that he would say that, since Bone is the only person i can think of who won't shut the f*ck up about how great he is. what a turd. tom

(313) Detroit Digital Vinyl is now online!
http://www.detroitdigitalvinyl.com/ From the great minds that brought you the legendary Detroit Techno distributor Submerge we are happy to bring you with us to the next level. It's time to take the fight to stay independant back to the people where it belongs! We listened to what you wanted and now we bring to you a new format for our music. In a time where pirated digital downloads rule the internet we've decided to give you the choice to buy our music legitimatly instead of having to go and pirate it to have the mp3's. We all know how easy it is to get free music and we know that you aren't rich because neither are we but we hope you understand that by pirating the music from small independant labels you do serious damage to the music industry and drive everbody towards the majors because they can take the hit and keep runnin'. Well we still say F*ck The Majors ! We don't care how you get their music but we do care how you get ours. We've heard 'em, old broke down 128kbps crackily recordings off some fools old wore out record and we think it sounds like some b*llshit. That is not the way this music is meant to be heard so we are going to give you a choice of 192 or 320kbps taken off the original production masters then digitally remastered by our very own crew. For the real Heads out there we are going to offer full uncompressed .wav files on selected releases for you to take and render in any format you need. Some releases will feature special bonus tracks not found anywhere else but on DetroitDigitalVinyl.com. We will constantly be adding in more and more releases every week to keep it fresh and new for everybody. You already know that Submerge destroys the competition on vinyl and we plan to destroy it in the digital realm as well. With all the new music technology out there there is no telling what you guys will do with it and we think that's half the fun. Welcome to our Final Frontier. -The Plan

(313) Andrew Duke's In The Mix returns... (Minto George mix)
er, sort of. I located some thought-lost archived material this morning while looking for an Aux 88 interview K-1 had asked me about re: the new Aux 88 site. I have decided to post select bits from past Andrew Duke's In The Mix shows on http://cognitionaudioworks.com/listen.html as time permits. Here's the low down on this week's down low selection: Andrew Duke's In The Mix aired weekly on CKDU in Halifax NS Canada from 1987-2004. It was syndicated to various international radio stations and websites from approximately 1997-2002. Select bits from past editions of the syndicated version of Andrew Duke's In The Mix will be posted here for approximately one week at a time before being replaced by a new piece from the archive. Please note, some of these show clips are up to 10 years old, so please disregard any contests you might hear mentioned or things of a time-sensitive nature; further, many email addresses or website addresses you might hear mentioned have changed in the years since the recording. Thanks. Hope you enjoy. Andrew From show #580 part 1: guest DJ Minto George (Down Low Music) 1. Convextion (unreleased A1) 2. Infiniti--Thought Process (DM Tresor) 3. Theorem--Igneous (CAN M_NUS) 4.
