i do not know you denise but i have been subscribed to this group for a long time therefore i feel that i am a bit qualified to make a comment . i am a lurker and posted sometimes but only occasionally yrs back . i do find though that your approach denise can be very confrontational and can often take up a lot of space . it often feels like the list is dormant bar the denise show . i am personally not gaining a lot from the list compared to former times and will need to unsubscribe shortly because i get no joy from these occasional outbursts . Unlike Memorial Day weekend, You can probably even get a reasonably priced hotel room. I think this could become Detroit's answer to the Chosen Few house music picnic that happens every year in Chicago. it would have been him not having a work permit . these days it's almost impossible to get in as a dj or musician without a work permit even more so if you are black . his booker should have informed the promoters of the festival that they need to apply for a work permit for him . lerato Weird story, the post did not mention what the reason was for british immigration to deny him access.
