Re: (313) similar sound tips...
Yes. And Greg is a great guy and his releases are fantastic. But recommendations of other labels similar to Restructured and Consigned is what I had in mind. A list of top 5 labels would be nice from whomever would like to add to this in that deep, dancy, spacey, tech/house, well there are clips on line on both Restructured, Consigned, and Thinner so you get the idea. Thanks! (313) similar sound tips...
Looking for more material along the lines of lables such as Consigned (anyone know why releases on this label have ceased? please fill me in) and Restructured - can anyone refer me to some labels to check out? I never get enough of that deep dancefloor stuff, even Thinner has some killer stuff out - rolling chords, reverbs, and wonderfully dancy beat. Can't find too many labels that really stay consistant to that style and was hoping to get some input on labels that I may not have heard of or considered. Thanks for all your help! peace Luke Berettamusic/DeepisDeep

RE: (313) Plastikman History
Ok, I was thinking 95' was the last show... But I guess it was NYE 99' @ Motor... Was it really a live performance? That NYE was all planned out too, then I backed out because I couldn't fork over $100 for the night. Can't wait for Halloween in Windsor! Should be an excellent show - I'm hoping Minus puts their decorating caps on for this one. Thanks for the help, and if anyone knows where I can find Richie's set from NYE 99' do tell. Paxahau archives maybe? (313) Plastikman History
I was just wondering... When was the last time Richie Hawtin played LIVE as Plastikman?
RE: (313) Bjork Recommendations...
A thank you note for the incredible help. I'm sure I'll be able to dig up some material with all of these wonderful suggestions. Of course I have to wait until after work until I can dive in... G... (313) Bjork Recommendations...
Returned to the ghetto after enjoying a beautiful Bjork concert in Toronto on Olympic Island. Has anyone done any sick Bjork remixes that could be used in a techno/electro set... not that Homogenic isn't dancefloor, but maybe something more clearcut made specifically for our pleasure. ASIDE: I remember Heckle and Jeckle dropping a Radiohead techno/electro remix at Forans [@ Bump] awhile back - anyone know what that was? Thanks for your help.
(313) Live Extracts
Recommending the new Persona release Stewart Walker - Live Extracts Great for a drive in the rain and can easily be used on the dance floor. Sorry, I think I might have snagged the last copy at Record Time - but maybe they just made it look that way. Any other recommendations over the summer in a similar catagory? D.Diggler - Motojuice 2002 but still - billy dalessandro - dark matter yeah!
(313) for a price.
G-man - Beautiful - i220 - 2x12 Richie Hawtin Live @ MIXMAG - triple pack vinyl (just for the track Roman IV - Altes Testement - Ladomat?) Anyone?
(313) Track id - help!
Heard a Richie Hawtin (live @ Mixmag) in Toronto - 96'? Can't believe how much his mixing/music style has changed. The set is composed of mostly acidhouse/tech stuff. The last track that my friend has recorded is the track I'm seeking. It's this melodic/acid track where the melody rolls in then the acid line rolls in and they keep playing with eachother throughout the track, then this women vocal comes in - she's not actually saying anything, just doing the soul hum thing to the melody - pretty sexy. He keeps the track on for quite awhile compared to some of the other stuff he played during the set. This might be difficult because I don't have to much information - so if this doesn't ring a bell I'll look for more specifics and re-send this. Appreciate the help! Luke
(313) in search of / introduction
Hello all. My name is Luke I'm from the Detroit area. I enjoy all of the discussions, and even though it's a chore to sift through all the e-mails on a busy week, I wouldn't have it any other way. For those of you in the area, you can see me play at Tremors (yes Tremors - Livonia) on Wednesday nights - deep house (Joshua Mathews - Visillusion - new release coming soon) and myself - minimal/techno. I was hoping I could get a lead on a cd I'm searching for. I was told by Kevin Reynolds at Transmat that the track was only released in Japan on cd. So, if someone knows of a website/shop where I could purchase this item I would be very greatful... Rodenbush - "Tranquility" - Time:Space 2 Also, I wrote once before about some music on (Persona) from Gregory Shiff - Entrance and Exit 1 and 2. Well I'm excited that Stewart Walker and Gregory Shiff are coming to the Shelter next month! And if any of you are into the same type of techno, I would be very interested to share some labels/artists with you as I'm looking to expand my collection in that direction. I appreciate the feedback and the support. Peace.

Here it goes. If anyone has some quality labels to add to this type of sound I'd really appreciate the input because I'm in love with these two releases on [Persona]. Thanks in advance. Peace. Luke
