So...if you haven't guessed by now I'm in Rome Saturday 28th June to Tuesday 1st July. Anyone know what's on (313 or other good things) - particularly the Saturday and Sunday nights? Any list members want to say hello? (accommodation is already sorted and I'm probably not bothered about record shop tips - I'm on holiday from that too!) Francis P.S. Will be in Dubrovnik in Croatia on the night of Tuesday 8th of July too so again if there are any hook-ups or parties to be had let me know. Well I'll do that of course (though will be trying to avoid record shops) but I was talking with a couple of international jet setting DJ types last week who said one place in Rome was the biz (and of course I now don't remember where, chasing one of them as to what it was) plus I always enjoy meeting my far flung 313 brethren around the world (Gui, Greg, Carlos hello!) > I don't know anyone in Croatia, but it would be worth trying to scare > someplace up there to do a laptop DJ set. Would rather listen than entertain as I don't want to have drag the means to do that around with me (which of course is a record box cos I'm for real. ;-)

Re: (313) when in rome...
I think Claudio spoke at the Red Bull last year. God, I love Rome, I'm so jealous of anyone going there. Plus all the guys and girls are so beautiful. The driving is unbelievable - crossing a road is like being a gladiator, you gottta look into the eye of the driver and look determined, then cross. ;) They have good reflexes, the drivers though. > when in rome, on THURSDAY night you should go to GOA > for "Ultrabeat" night: resident dj is Claudio Coccoluto, and you'll > catch guest like Steve Bug, Booka Shade, MANDY, Troy Pierce > ecc ecc...don't miss it if you love "some loop that goes on for 4 > hours and hardly changes" ;) > http://www.houseinmotion.it/ > (probably they'll do some party on NYE too) > > to eat, have fun in "Trattoria da Augusto" (also called "Augustariello" > in Trastevere. > > sleeping is not so cheap > > ps: beware of craazy traffic :) > > bye, > Emiliano > > - Original Message - > From: "jurren baars" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <313@hyperreal.org> > Sent: Monday, November 07, 2005 6:46 PM > Subject: (313) when in rome... > > >> ... where to stay? >> ... what to do? >> >> i'm going to visit rome for the first time from december 30 to january 6. >> anyone know of good (not too expensive) hotels, nice restaurants, >> recordstores, etc.? >> i would also love to know of any events NYE worth visiting while i'm >> there. not necessarily techno, preferably more house/hiphop/soul as i'm >> going with my girl who prefers to hear different musical styles rather >> than "some loop that goes on for 4 hours and hardly changes" (her >> words). >> >> jurren >> >> >> >

I don't think Fo' Sho is just Detroit, everyone uses that, like Down South. I like You Got Hoed, though. -- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: 313@hyperreal.org >Subject: (313) when in Rome (or Detroit) >Date: Thu, 24 Apr 2003 9:07 AM > > just found this on some website: > > > detroit 313 slang! > > > scrimp scampy:as in gettin' played.
