RE: [313] A heads-up for anyone who owns the Basic Channel CDs
My Maurizio CD cracked after I had it for a couple of months. I wrote an email to Basic Channel that they should do something about those metal cases that destroy their great CDs and the good people there sent me a new one for free. Later I modified all of my BC/M/CR metal boxes by cutting out the inside of normal plastic CD box and gluing it into the metal box. RE: [313] A heads-up for anyone who owns the Basic Channel CDs
My 3rd Basic Channel CD is on order. So far a second Maurizio CD is holding out. When I pick up the BCCD I'll buy some empty CD cases at the same time ... Totally on something else, cheers for the feedback on the so-called 'Edition 1' thing I found. Apologies for my usual confabulation, here are the real details. Artist: Reese Edition 1 Title: 'Direct Me' (1991) Label(s): Released by Network (in association with Rough Trade) under license of KMS, distributed by Vital (UK). Track Listing: Direct Me - Underground Resistance Mix Kevin Saunderson Mix Marty Hardy Mix Note: imho not the best house he's done;KMS mix has a useful breakdown (visible on vinyl), Marty Hardy mix is a no vox break beat; track order on my copy seems different to that of discog. The metal ring that's meant to hold the disc puts a serious strain on the hub of the CD . . . my Maurizio compilation from 97 snapped in two just as I was getting ready to rip it to hard disk tonight. It'll make kind of a nice coaster I guess. Will go well with the second 12 of that Stacey Pullen album that fell from my balcony and into a bush a while back. -- Brian balistic Prince http://www.bprince.com - art and techno - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
