hi, you can very much install XP using auto installation. use N light
or some other free utilities to create a self installation disk and
and define Serial numbers language options, and include the drivers
using the same Software through slip stream. define the partitions to
be created and burn the disk. now i hope it will be easy to install
the O.S without assistance. as the drivers are preloaded in to O.S it
will not be a big problem to install jaws after using a self
installation disk of it.

Hello,
If you plan to format a single partition, it is accessible and you can
do

that easily but remember you can not format the master / OS partition
which is generally c:. Check disk management in control panel.
If you plan to format it completely, then you should take the help of
some

sighted person though I know some blind geeks who do that on their own
by

memorizing all the steps.
There are ways to install OS independently but not XP or Vista, one can
install Ubuntu, Knop etc of linux distro as the live CD can start
Screen

reader.

Sure there is no way of any voices being running it, because
The hard disk will be formatted and everything will be cleanly wiped
out/washed out.
Secondly, no voices can run, because, you see, because the OS must
load and direct things how it must go.
So booting is important for that as well.
So TTS voices cannot run as well.
I Think I am right in this point, not perfectly sure though.

Respected Subramani Sir the Great,

Fragmentation occurs when the operating system cannot or will not
allocate
enough contiguous space to store a complete file as a unit, but
instead

puts

parts of it in gaps between other files (usually those gaps exist
because
they formerly held a file that the operating system has subsequently
deleted

or because the operating system allocated excess space for the file in
the
first place). Larger files and greater numbers of files also
contribute

to
fragmentation and consequent performance loss. Defragmentation
attempts

to
alleviate these problems.

A defragmentation program must move files around within the free space
available to undo fragmentation. This is a memory intensive operation
and
cannot be performed on a file system with no free space.

The above explaination was copied from one site. Now I will try to
explain
what does formatting means.

When we format our computer, our operating system gets deleted. Before

This is very controversial because First of all, noTT is appointed to check

Secondly, at very outset, these special coaches were declared "General coach
for Disabled passengers" and mostly those have been used by policemen and
other normal passengers after making outside payment to railway staff
specially in western and northern railways.
Thirdly, Quota of two births have been given for all disabled passengers
with attendant in all trains in general sleeper coaches, now which are
wrongly being transferred in to these special general coaches for disabled
passengers and in where, actually reserved births have not been given to
concerned passengers because general disabled passengers suppose this coach
as a general coach for disabled passengers and even railway staff have same
approach in this regard as some diseased friends told me about these type of
mishappenings.

Regards,
Rakesh.

Re: [AI] extremely severe problem, help please!

2009-08-19 Thread samuel rodrigues
According to me XP is better, since it has all the features, upto now.
Compared to other operating systems,
Xp is better, since people have used vista and have slipped down to XP.
So in a way, the current stable version is XP.
I know windows 7 might be the next to take its place, but lets see
when it gets released.

 Hello,
If you plan to format a single partition, it is accessible and you can
 do
that easily but remember you can not format the master / OS partition
which is generally c:. Check disk management in control panel.
If you plan to format it completely, then you should take the help of
 some

sighted person though I know some blind geeks who do that on their own
 by
 memorizing all the steps.
There are ways to install OS independently but not XP or Vista, one can
install Ubuntu, Knop etc of linux distro as the live CD can start Screen
 reader.
 Thanks

Sure there is no way of any voices being running it, because
The hard disk will be formatted and everything will be cleanly wiped
 out/washed out.
Secondly, no voices can run, because, you see, because the OS must
load and direct things how it must go.
So booting is important for that as well.
So TTS voices cannot run as well.
I Think I am right in this point, not perfectly sure though.

 Dear Phani Bhaiya,

Update me about one thing:

What I know is that when we use automated installer, it removes all the
previous partitions and create one partition. Is it possible to install your
xp in one partition e.g., c: leaving other partitions as it is?

I heard if we define the syntax then it is possible?

hi, you can very much install XP using auto installation. use N light

what does formatting means.

When we format our computer, our operating system gets deleted. Before
we

can use any hard disk, we need to setup some basic structure like
partitions. Now when we format hard disk, we delete the operating
system,

the temperary files, the unused registry keys and lot more things.

Re: [AI] Talking ATM

2009-08-19 Thread Adhimoolam Vetrivel Murugan
A couple of suggestions for the testers: talking ATMS are designed
based on two different ways of which the first type is designed to be
used with touch screens, whereas the second types of machines are made
to be compatible with ATM keys. In my view the touch screen has the
potential to compremize privacy since it requires one to enter the pin
by counting the beeps. So make sure to take note of it while testing.
Second, talking ATMS should use their internal speakers for speech
outputs and otherwise he/she has to use a headset whithout which one
is helpless. So testers, make sure to explore those machines by
bearing these points in mind.

Best regards,

Vetri.

Produced in my Nokia N82.

Re: [AI] Talking ATM

2009-08-19 Thread Pamnani
Ayesha I think my mail is quite clear. We are talking of testing ATMs before
they get deployed.
So no Delhi does not have a talking ATM. Only Pune had one which was
operational.
