[AI] problem in portable jaws 10.0.1142
Hello friends, I try to learn how to use jaws portable in pc. I have already copied jaws portable 10 in pen drive, and installed FSVideoIntercept-32bit, which is given in particular jaws folder. Yes, I know that now I have to run jaws 10 MS dos batch file,. It works properly when this file is located in USB_device_root_directory. My friend suggests me if we cut this jaws 10 MS dos batch file, and pest it out of the folder and then use jaws, we will be comfortable to use portable jaws. now the problem is the file works when it is in USB_device_root_directory, but it does not work when i cut this dos batch file and pest it as a root file of pen drive. When I enter on this file the following message is displayed, JAWS10\jfw.exe Windows cannot find 'JAWS10\jfw.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for agraphic 797 file, click the Start button, and then click Search. OK It's little difficult to go in some folder and run jaws. So what can i do for this problem? hello, I have been suffering one problem with real player while listening bbc hindi news for some months. After learning all techniques, when i walked alone on the rode of benglor, i could visualize all things with closed eyes. after all, for late blind, visualization must be required while walking. but it's very hard but not inpossible. After takeing this training, i have also travelled alone by train. the journey was about 10 hours. it means confidence also must be required. but after learning all techniques of mobility, practise must be required. Mobility is an essential part of everyone's life. it becomes difficult for us as visually impaired and more important than ever before. but, do we give ourselves the opportunity to experience it? most of us shy away from using the white cane that is specifically meant to serve the purpose of replacing the missing sight, if used with the right techniques. i have been one to never be able to use the cane for various reasons. firstly having been sighted, i am well aware of the perils of being out on our roads, and the vanity factor has always come in the way. having gone on all these years in this way, i reached a stage where i felt the strings holding me down. unavailability of assistance when required and the urgency to have things done put an abrupt end to all these factors. i decided to go on and equip myself with this essential skill and made a trip to Mitra Jyothi in Bangalore for a 5 day programme in Outdoor mobility. this was customised to suit my need and the time i had available on hand. it was an experience i will never forget. from the word go, my instructor, Ms Sundari nudged me on gently but firmly onto moving on my own. the inputs were positive and not assertive which makes the likes of us that are skeptical about it, accept it with more ease.holding the cane and moving with it was something else. the encouragement and constant support made me move on quicker. tentative steps became more confident and small ones became strides. the feeling was liberating and exhilerating. i had never thoughht i would feel that way. gone was the fear and hesitation and it was replaced with a new self confidence. this did not last only for the time when my instructor was with me, but also through the journey on my own onto the busy road wit traffic on one side and the inevitable open drains on the other. made me wonder why had i not done this before. a lot of us have opportunities that come our way but hesitate to take them on only because we are not sure of how to get there. i endorse once again the best way is to find the right persons to assist you and pick the white cane to make it a friend and not something to keep away so far away that you don't see it and so don't need to use it, exactly as i had done. the fee

But the state government move to the supreme court to stay the judgment and since than the matter is pending in the supreme court neither the stay has been granted nor the afforstated judgment is being implemented. NFB, Karnataka also filed a fresh PIL petition in 2009 while again 4900 vacancies of primary school teachers were advertised and blind persons were bared to apply for these jobs. In its interim order of 29th October 2009 against the said PIL the high court directed the state government to keep at least 49 posts vacant until the final disposal of these petition and accept the applications of qualifying blind persons for the same. Since then the matter is standing in the high court for the next hearing. You would be aware of recent interim order of Mumbai High Court in which the honourable high court has expressed its displeasure on the attitude of the Maharastra Government on the matter of identification of jobs and its time bound review. It may also be helpful in your case as a reference. I am forwarding a copy of this interim order at your personnel mail I.D. We have also filed a new PIL in the matter of appropriate identification of jobs and review of the existing lists, the first hearing of which expected to be scheduled with in two, three days time. If you are not clear, speak to the person concerned and see if he/she can read your article and would like to consider it. The problem is, this exercise may take time. Think things from their point of view... If they want to publish a new writer's article and that turns out to be flawed (not that you write badly, but they don't know you), the persons accepting your article is answerable to the editorial board. So there are factors involved in acceptance or rejection of your article. Do not lose heart. I heard the story of "Regret" Iyer who used to write for newspapers who got his nicname since hundreds of articles he wrote to the papers used to return to him with "regret" letters (many newspapers have the culture of returning a writer's article with a letter regretting their inability to publish their article and wishing them good luck). Once your article comes with the by-line, you would find the necessary courage to continue writing. Persistance is key. Is that such, that we can give an article in only 1 news paper or magazine, or we can give that same article in many of the news papers? How can you give the same article to different publications? If your extraordinary luck is such that both the newspapers like the piece and decide to run it on the same day? Probably your career as a writer will see the last day. Still the percentage of computer literates is in single digit. Still there is no proper arrangement of books, specially for the hindi medium people. Still most of the folks rely on old tradition of cassette tapes. Still it's a big trouble for blinds to seek readers. Still most of the VIs don't think apart from being teacher. Still it's hard to convince companies to keep a VI as a employ. Still visually impaired people are offered less salary then there colleagues. Etc, etc, etc. Actually, these are few of the many dilemmas which are still need to overcome. I am not at all saying that blinds are inept, but at a halt there is something where we are lacking. What are those things? Is there someone who is creating obstructions in our way? Is there someone who doesn't wants us to be developed? Are we sure that we are trying level best from our side? Are we making adequate efferts to overcome the problems? Answer is no, and a resounding no. Facts says that India has misfortune of having largest amount of visually impaired, and whatever efferts we have made till now are no more then a drop of ocean. As a blind we offen censures the government, but is it fair to blame anyone else for our own liability? Indeed no. We'll have to consider genuinely what we ourselves can do to empower our condition. If we consider the things hard, we will find the solutions just below the arms. For example, if students are not taking interest in studies, is it a fault of government? If a teacher is not imparting proper education, is it a fault of government? There may be many such examples where we ourselves have to strive for empowerment. hi Amar & others! first of all, you should decide which letters you would like to include in your signature. Learn those letters first. Being a nurssary kid, start to learn "A" with big size and shape. you must take help of sighted person specially to point out each letters of your sign , through his/her fingers. Start to visualize its shapes and size in your mind and eyes. Hey! one more idea comes in my mind which I applied while teaching table menu to blind girls. With the help of braille, one sighted lady who knows braille , prepared whole table[with its colams and rows] on page. all girls came to know very well how the table looks on skrin in actual. Visualisation, other's fingers, and moveing your sight according his/ her fingers will help you. I have some more techniques to guide you, but words have some limitations for my explanation. Now about signature card: I have prepared one rough sign card in which there are three diffrent boxes with diffrent sizes, so I can sign, according to space of sign box on page. No need to put fingers here and there on page. of course! practise is required there.
