Re: [AI] Reminder

2010-03-07 Thread KARAN GUPTA
I use various terminals on my PC for FTSE, Dowjones and live software
for BSE from 5paisa.com. But I'm extremely sorry and sad to say that
none of them is fully compatible with JAWS. As most of the live
softwares for trading - the trading screen except the toolbar and
taskbar are somewhat like non-graphical user interface and less
intuitive to explore, where the rates keep updating live. Almost all
my VH friends in UK and US still go for the broker. You may also
google various websites like moneycontrol.com for real-time trading
with virtual money and its all free, to have an idea - how does the
whole thing works. Many Thanks.

2010-03-08 Thread Amar Jain

Dear Ashwani Sir,
I would just say that most of the trading sites are based on java because
they have to provide live updates.

So if you have Java access bridge installed, you are good to go.

[AI] Reminder - U I D special Camp Announcement

2011-08-23 Thread Xavier's Resource Centre for the Visuall St. Xavier's College

Dear Friends,

Last 4 days for registering for your U I D enrolment. Please enrol with XRCVC
for your token/time slot. Aadhar
Card (U I D) special camp from 29th to 31st August 2011
St. Xavier’s College Hall, Mumbai.

U I D special Camp Announcement

 The Xavier’s Resource Center
for the Visually Challenged (XRCVC) along with Mahaonline (an UID Enrolment
Agency) is pleased to announce that a UID (AADHAR card) special camp is being
organized on the 29th, 30th and 31st of
August. This camp which will be open to all visually challenged persons
will be organized in the St. Xavier’s College Hall. Those interested may
please download the UID Enrolment Form available at our website’s home page
www.xrcvc.org

This form once filled up along
with the copy of Date of Birth (DOB), Proof of Identity (POI) or Proof of
Address (POA) [for detail list please download document “Mandatory
documents.doc” from our website’s home page) needs to be submitted at the
XRCVC office in hard copy. Visually challenged persons need to submit a
copy of their disability certificate issued by a competent medical authority
along with enrolment form and POI/POA to the XRCVC office. The XRCVC office
will be accepting Enrolment Forms (EA) on all working days between 10 am and
5:30 pm.

On receiving and verifying the
enrolment form and DOB/POA/POI the XRCVC will issue a confirmation
along with the suitable date / time slot by way of appointment. Given the
fact that we expect a large response we will have to restrict appointment slots
on the basis of First Come First Serve. In case a
person misses their appointment slot in all likelihood we will not be able to
adjust and re-allot a new time as the process requires proper scheduling.
Our attempt to give a time slot is aimed at reducing waiting time as far as
possible. Drop by persons on those days without appointments
will not be entertained.

The entire process per person
is expected to take anything from 10 to 20 minutes. During this time
essential biometric data along with the photograph will be
captured. The XRCVC is working on this project in order to help the
visually challenged given the fact that capturing the iris can pose a
problem. The person will also have an opportunity to confirm their
basic data which has been provided by them on the form. The staff of
enrolment agency during the camp will be better trained to handle biometric
exceptions.

Your enrolment form and
required copy of documents needs to be delivered to XRCVC, St. Xavier’s
College, 5, Mahapalika Marg, Opp. Metro theatre, Between Rang Bhavan and Cama
hospital, Mumbai - 400 001 at the earliest.

The XRCVC is facilitating the
process and is providing basic logistical support to the Mahaonline who will be
fully responsible for the actual data capturing and verification.

For any special inquiries you
may call 022-22623298 / 22626329 or write in to i...@xrcvc.org

Re: [AI] reminder for question related to win7/8

2012-06-14 Thread Satguru
Hi Raj,

Win7 comes with MS Outlook and Windows Livemail can also be used which is
pretty similar to OE. I don't use the MS Outlook as I find it bit
complecated and use Windows Livemail instead. You can configure your email
accounts very much like you used to do in OE. However, in order to use
Windows live mail, you may need to install Windows Live Essential from
Microsoft if you haven't installed it yet.

Dear group members,

I think, my another mail seeking the info about win7/8 didn't hit the list.
So I'm sending it once again.

I'd like to know that is there any built-in E-mail client software in the
said versions of Windows like OE in XP?
If yes then kindly can some1 guide me to configure my gmail account in it??

Hope to get the responses on this topic as soon also.

Thanks and regards,

Thanks and regards,
RAJ VASWANI

No need for someone to come and all, there is a clear cut circular
which states regarding the facilities to be availed for the VI which
the individuals can show. This circular is also with all the banks. If
the individuals show the circular copy, then the respective bank
branches can cross check it with the refference number. If this method
doesn't work, then the individuals can directly visit the respective
bank's website and can file a clear complaint to either the bank
complaint desk by mentioning the branch name or with a step ahead can
also complain the omboodsmen. However, the ultimate fact is that, no
banks can reject/prevent the facilities for the VI... Some banks
follow the rules and facilitate atomatically, whereas few require such
awareness...

What is NLP?
NLP, at its most basic level, is how a human brain work, how people
learn, think, motivate themselves and change. It offers impressive
potential for improving communication and creativity and enables you
to learn how to live up to your own potential.

How can NLP help you?
IN YOUR CAREER
- Get what you want by effectively managing your internal mindset and
influencing others to happily work with you to achieve your dreams
- Overcome the hurdles which prevent you from taking your business or
career to the next level
- Learn how to motivate yourself and others with ease
- Learn to use language with greater precision and elegance so that
you and others can get what you want
- Think better, think more clearly and make better decisions

WITHIN YOURSELF AND YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
- Quickly identify and blast through the limitations that are holding
you back in life... Once you break through these, your personal life
will never be the same again.
- Master your subconscious mind so that you can learn more quickly
than traditional teaching methods could ever allow
- Learn things about yourself that you didn’t know before
- Master your own emotions so that you handle all eventualities easily
- Gain that vital edge that makes you a far more effective and
powerful communicator
- Enhance your personal relationships
- Develop instant confidence

[AI] Reminder - Survey: NVDACon Non Visual Desktop Access Users and Developers Conference for South Asia

2016-05-05 Thread bhavya . shah125

Dear all,
This is a reminder requesting to fill the survey about your interest in
the possibility of NVDACon Users and Developers Conference for South
Asia, similar to regional NVDACons held in USA, Korea, Japan etc.
Whether you are a user of another screen reader (JAWS, Window Eyes,
System Access etc.) wishing to learn more about and eventually
transition to NVDA, or you are a rehabilitation trainer seeking to
further understand NVDA, whether you are yourself an ardent user of
NVDA, or an avid advocate of this free and open source assistive
technology – an NVDA conference for our region has all the potential to
benefit and teach you something. Originally conceived by fellow NVDA
enthusiast froms Southern Asia, I would like to sincerely remind you
that submissions for this survey are still open and you can freely
share and spread the word about this idea and get involved in it by
responding to this short survey at
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1P7xL7wPKHjN3GZs2Z1qBs_xZ7NEKnmWCywVk_pdBCr0/viewform?c=0&w=1
Sincerely looking forward to even more responses!
Thanks.
P.S. In case you have any questions or queries about this initiative,
please feel free to contact bhavya.shah...@gmail.com. Also, we deeply
appreciate all the overwhelming amount of respondents who have already
expressed their views with us through the survey.

NVDA, having been founded in the year 2006 by a fascinated Australian
blind programmer named Michael Curren, is now officialy ten years old
today. As NVDA communities across the world celebrate this massive
screen reading milestone, inspired from NVDACon International 2016
Users and Developers Conference 10th Anniversary edition, a group of
people who are avid NVDA users, supporters and enthusiasts from India
and Pakistan are willing to organize an NVDA conference for South Asia,
where users, developers and even those simply interested in NVDA are
given an opportunity to network with fellow NVDA residents, and share,
discuss, learn more about and shape the future of NVDA. This survey has
been authored by these NVDA loyallists and seeks to understand and
ascertain the amount of interest in South Asian countries (like India,
Pakistan etc.) in an NVDACon South Asia. We sincerely hope that you may
take out a few minutes of your invaluable time in filling this survey
questionairre carefully, to bring NVDACon South Asia to life.

I've invited you to fill out the form NVDACon Non Visual Desktop Access
screen reader Users and Developers Conference for South Asian regions.

[AI] Reminder: Session on financial planning, tax saving and ITR filing this 19th July at University Club House

2014-07-18 Thread Blind Graduates' Forum of India (BGFI)
Greetings from the Blind Graduates Forum of India!

As part of our monthly knowledge sharing events, this time we present
you a session which will help you understand how the financial
planning works, how can the minimum savings be maximized to give
greater returns, what investments can save your income tax, and
finally how can one file income tax returns. It is important to have
knowledge about these aspects even though a large part of it is taken
care by your employers.

So, join us in the session on 19th July 2014, from 3 P.M. to 6.30 P.M.
at the Students' International Hall, 1st Floor, University Club
House, B Road, Churchgate.

Saving is an important part of everyone's life. A well planned saving
can get your children the required education without much of a hassle,
offer you the feeling of being secured even after your retirement,
allow you to maximize your returns from the limited investments And so
much more, which we never even think of till we have an ongoing job.

All this sounds great, but the question is that in this era of
highinflation, how can one really save?

We at BGFI, answer this question with the help of our experts who
are working as Chartered Accountant and Financial Advisor to a leading
company.

We realize it's Monsoon that's why we have chosen the University Club
House keeping everyone's convenience in mind.

So, what are you waiting for? Continuing with our every year's
independence day's celebrations, we will be organizing a one day trek
on 15th August, 2014. Details of which will be intimated in due
course.

Have queries? Call Ms. Shaila D'souza on: +91-9820708023.

We look forward for your strong and encouraging participation!

 Thanks and Regards,
 the BGFI Team

[AI] Reminder: 15 october 2015: JNU invites you to a discussion on the formation of the National Blind Student Union

2015-10-13 Thread avinash shahi
Dear All,
It’s a matter of great privilege that the number of blind students

However merely enrolment doesn’t guarantee equal opportunity and equal
access to educational contents and conducive environment. Over the

attitudinal and psychological impediments abound. Rising dropouts,
indifferent administrative apparatus, apathy of the UGC and the
attempt of suicides by the blind students are some of the grave
concerns which need paramount attention. In the light of
aforementioned concerns, The JNU Visually Challenged forum proposes
for the formation of the National Blind Students’ Union. To achieve
this imperative objective, the JNUVisuallyChallengedForum invites you
to a discussion entitled: the Formation of the National Blind Student
Union: how to go forward

Date and Timing: 15 October 2015 17:00 to 19:00
Venue: Teflas (JNUSU Office)
Delhites, please turn up in large numbers
And join us in the evening to celebrate the International White Cane Day also.

*For more details please do read below!*

Motivation and personal development can work wonders in phenomenally
elevating levels of your productivity and performance, while enhancing
the overall joy and quality of your life, as you witness your dreams
 turn into reality!

However, like any other attribute , motivation and personal development too,
requires constant rejuvenation and rekindling for attaining long term
effectiveness and continuous positive growth.

For in today's modern day lifestyle, we are perpetually being exposed
to endless negative influences and messages; which unknowingly yet
efficiently douse our inner flame of motivation; easily drawing us into
negative contemplation leading to almost total loss of enthusiasm!

This then usually , infuses the culture of playing the blame
game, conjuring excuses, averting ownership and responsibility.

Dwindling motivation levels, declining or stagnant productivity,
rising anxiety,
dissatisfaction and inner conflict are some of the hidden sabotaging
creatures that keep us from living the grand life we are actually meant to
live!

Slipping motivation not only negatively impacts your professional output,
it most certainly has a detrimental effect upon your physical and emotional
health and wellbeing; causing your relationships and many other aspects of
life to take the brunt.

The 'RE-ENERGIZE & GIVE LIFE YOUR BEST SHOT' programme is especially
designed to motivate you in the most unique way! It is known to leave upon
its audiences, an extraordinarily powerful and interminable impact!

Here you learn the skill of mastering the art of translating pressures and
intimidating circumstances into stepping stones to achieve stunning success
every time; and that too with complete motivation! We together develop
tools and strategies to motivate oneself and others, everyday and at any
time. Preeti shares with you her very own life experience and expertise,
to handle challenging situations, and take corrective actions smoothly and
effectively!

Lets come together and pave the way to an enthusiastic and invigorating
environment for ourselves and our loved ones, dawned with mutual respect,
trust and comradeship. Thereby, imbibing and reinforcing the practice of
discipline and commitment as you continue to lead a positively motivated
professional and personal life, taking yourself to greater levels of
excellence!

Fusion invites you to join us for these thought provoking and inspiring
sessions at:

Date: 18th May Sunday 2014

Time: 3 pm. To 5 pm.

Address:

164 B, Pocket A,

Mayur Vihar Phase 2,

Delhi 110091.

These sessions will be held regularly and you are welcome to share with us
topics that you may like Preeti to address.

Look forward to a line of confirmation from you.

With warm regards
Preeti
