Re: Executing Adwords Script through the API

Hi Umya,

I'm afraid such feature is not available via the AdWords API. However, you
may want to double check with the AdWords Scripts Team
 if they have any
alternatives.

Re: Bid Simulator Data Difference in UI and API

2017-08-02 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Shubham,

The LandscapePoints

returned by DataService

will contain the expected performance stats for the corresponding bid or
bid modifier. You could construct a graph for these LandscapePoints with
different bid or mobile bid modifier amounts and extrapolate the results.
In the above scenario, the current bid is $3.61, so +50% bid would be
$5.41. To get the estimated number of clicks, you need to get the
corresponding value from the graph, which would be 8. This translates to an
estimate of 1 additional click per week for this bid. Similarly, you need
to extrapolate and get the performance stats for different bid amounts.
Please see this guide

for more details.

Regards,
Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: Placeholder Feed Item Report - AttributeValues

2017-08-02 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Danny,

Items of a list which are in JSON format will be returned as an array of
strings. The actual raw returned values are escaped appropriately for the
selected report download format
.

You need to check if the CSV implementation supports embedded line breaks
or newline characters inside text fields.

Ok nvm - I found the bug. Turns out the php functions *str_getcsv* and

incorrectly splitting, and its possible to have line breaks within the JSON
data of *AttributeValues*.

Placeholder Feed Item Report - AttributeValues

2017-08-02 Thread Danny
Hi

I'm running the Placeholder Feed Item Report with the following fields:

$report_fields = ['PlaceholderType', 'FeedId', 'FeedItemId',
'AttributeValues', 'CustomerDescriptiveName','ExternalCustomerId',
'StartTime', 'EndTime', 'Status'];
$segment_fields = ['AdGroupId', 'AdGroupName', 'AdGroupStatus',
'CampaignId', 'CampaignName', 'CampaignStatus'];

In total, there's 15 fields being queried. Once I execute* downloadReport()*
and *saveToFile()*, I noticed that the value of *AttributeValues* returns a
JSON that for some reason the data is split into 2 columns. I'm running
into errors as my header row is 15 fields, but the data returned is 16
fields.

Is this normal and if so, how does the API determine how/when should the
*AttributeValues* JSON be split into multiple columns?

AdGroupAdPolicySummary policy topic - how to get more info

2017-08-02 Thread Ondřej P
Hi,

there is a field policySummary in AdGroupAd object and I would like to get
more info about the disapproval reason.

{
  "reviewState": "REVIEWED",
  "denormalizedStatus": "DISAPPROVED",
  "policyTopicEntries": [
{
  "policyTopicId": "300",
  "policyTopicName": "Unidentified business",
  "policyTopicEntryType": "PROHIBITED"
}
  ],
  "combinedApprovalStatus": "DISAPPROVED"
}

 I see that there is a field policyTopicId, but I cannot find any list of
policies - I would like to show link to specific AdWords policy or some
policy description in our app. What is the right way how to work with
policyTopicId? Is there any Policy Topic resource where I can find topic by
policyTopicId?

Thank you!

Re: Large Miss-Match Between Offline Conversion Feeds Send and What is Reported

2017-08-02 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Nadav,

To better look into your concern, could you provide your clientCustomerId,
any SOAP request and response generated when you uploaded your conversions,
the complete report definition used to fetch the conversions in the report,
and the generated report file? You may reply using *Reply privately to
author*.

As for the report that returns information on the accepted conversions,
normally, all the reports that support the conversion fields

 already
returns information of those conversions that have been successfully
uploaded.

Large Miss-Match Between Offline Conversion Feeds Send and What is Reported

2017-08-02 Thread Nadav De Bruin
For a month from now we send once a day all the new conversions to AdWords
using the API.
Each after OfflineConversionFeedOperation (Operator.ADD) is sent with not
returning error we log all the feed attributes to our DB.
So we can track for each conversion date how many feeds and the total value
sent to AdWords.
Unfortunately, in a the AdWords reports for a conversion date the results
do not match at all,
some days there is close to 80% gap in value and about 30% in the total
reported.

Is there any report we can see which OfflineConversionFeedOperation where
accepted by AdWords for a given date?

Thanks,
Nadav

Re: AWReporting- data is different from google adwords

2017-08-02 Thread 'Ivan Bautista' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Ted,

Thank you for providing to us screenshots of your AdWords UI report and the
report generated from AWReporting
 tool.

For us to have a better look on our end, could you provide to us privately
(using *reply privately to author* option) the following?

   - AdWords account Id where you are pulling data from
   - Report type
    where
   discrepancies were encountered
   - Fields selected/included in the report
   - Filters specified when generating the report
   - Complete AdWords UI screenshot including which tabs (campaigns, ads,
   etc.) are selected
   - The actual generated report file from AWReporting tool

However, as the discrepancies are from the data generated via AWReporting
tool, you might also want to raise this concern to their team via this link
.

Re: Why do I get not all adwords accounts by user with API?

2017-08-02 Thread 'Ivan Bautista' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Kirill,

If you specified as request header the clientCustomerId of the AdWords
client account associated with te...@gmail.com when executing the
ManagedCustomerService.get()
,

then you should be getting, at least, that account from the response.

For us to investigate further, could you provide to us privately (using *reply
privately to author* option) the SOAP request and response logs captured
when the empty list was returned as well as your AdWords account Ids? If
you are using the Python client library
 for integration, then
you may enable SOAP logging via this guide

.

2017-08-02 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

My apologies as I can only provide support in English. As for your issue,
our team supports AdWords API related concerns only and I'm afraid Google
Analytics API concerns are already out of scope for us. Kindly contact the
Analytics support team via this link
 for better
assistance.

Best regards,
Peter

Re: Question about search query performance report

2017-08-02 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Could you confirm if you are asking why certain records in the Search Query
Performance report have unexpected impressions or clicks? Please note that
the Clicks

 and Impressions

 fields
of the Search Query Performance report do not support zero impressions and
with this, if any of your search queries are returned in the report then it
means that they have indeed generated statistics.

However, if perhaps there are some search terms that you believe should not
have been included in the report then kindly send to me your
clientCustomerId, the complete report definition

 used
and the generated file or simply the rows that you believe should not have
generated performance statistics. Let me know if I understood your concern
correctly and kindly reply to me via *Reply privately to author* for the
requested information.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

AWReporting- data is different from google adwords

2017-08-02 Thread Ted Kuo
Dear All,

I use awReorpting tool to get api data.

Recently, I found that some data i got through awReporting tool is not the
same as the data google adwords shows.

for example, i check my monthly report ( July ) . I found that the clicks
have some difference which makes the costs the same.

( i use awReporting to get data on August 2nd. )

I can't figure out why this happend and how can i fixed it.

Does there have any better solution?

thanks in advanced !
