Hi Damir,

The Criteria Performance Report is a single attribution type of report and that 
said, it would return only the criteria type it deems most relevant. As you 
have observed, the report appears to have not selected the Gender criteria as 
the type to return in the results.

Additionally, we do not recommend comparing different report types as this 
would produce discrepancies since each report is aggregated at different 
levels. I hope this helps.

Data mismatch between criteria and gender report types

Hello! 
Can anybody explain to me why I see different metric count between criteria 
performance report and gender performance report 

My query for criteria report 
https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/reportdownload/v201809?__fmt=CSV&__rdquery=SELECT
 
CriteriaType,Criteria, Clicks
FROM CRITERIA_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
WHERE CriteriaType=GENDER
DURING LAST_7_DAYS

I receive all zeros

Request for gender report type for the same account and same date range  

https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/reportdownload/v201809?__fmt=CSV&__rdquery=SELECT
 
Criteria, Clicks
FROM GENDER_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
DURING LAST_7_DAYS

I get total clicks values = 21794 

My expectation here was that I would see the same metrics count. Is it 
correct behavior? What I am missing?

channel of Python client library. With this, I would recommend that you wait

Bulk Action script is not blocking

Dear Community 

I am using a very simple script to refresh my google ads campaign, which 
works, but the action upload.apply() is not blocking.

This means any dependant data in GoogleCampaignData.csv is not processed 
before GoogleAdGroups.csv etc etc.

Is there a way around this?

I'm afraid, it is not possible to identify if the accounts are in draft or 
completely setup through the API. If you are making an API call against the 
account that is not completely setup, this might fail with an error.

set up. But is there any field that I can bring back from following query to 
check if that condition

 FROM customer_client" ?

 

I am only interested in getting back the completely setup accounts. Is there 
any way I can check that (filter completely set up accounts) before I can make

The error CUSTOMER_NOT_ENABLED usually occurs if the API call is made against 
an account which is not completely setup. Could you please complete the account 
setup and retry the API request? If you're encountering any issues, could you 
please share the request and response logs using Reply privately to author 
option to investigate further?

How can I find out if an account has credit card billing or manual payments?

VideosPlayedToXQuartile to number of people who watched until X%

Hello,

As the AdWords API doesn't expose the *number* of people who watched X% 
percentage of a video(25, 50, 75 and 100) only the *percentage* of people.

We are interested in this metric, would it be as easy as to multiply the 
impressions with VideosPlayedToX% to gain a somewhat close approximation of 
how many people watched until that point? 

Or would VideoViews give a more accurate representation?(VideosPlayedToX * 
VideoViews = VideosPlayedToX%People)

Update bid on Hotel Group

Hello,

I am working on Hotel campaign on Google Ads. 

Below is the account hierarchy:

MCC XXX
 Customer Id 
  Campaign Id XXX
 AdGroup Id XXX
 Under the same AdGroup we have several Hotel Group as per 
image attached 


I am trying to update the bid value (field cpc_bid_micros) for one hotel. 

I built an AdGroupCriterion object and I have set a ListingGroupInfo object 
using HotelIdInfo as ListingDimensionInfo.

$listingGroupInfo = new Google\Ads\GoogleAds\V2\Common\ListingGroupInfo();

$listingGroupInfo->setType(Google\Ads\GoogleAds\V2\Enums\ListingGroupTypeEnum\ListingGroupType::UNIT);

Campaign targeted on 2 regions and 1 city.

Yes, I seen that links under Migration.

But that documentation is not enough.

Like we have details documentation which fields can be used where that is 
missing here.

For example Lets say I need to use Placement Performance Report same as 
Adwords API

Under Adwords API we have details decription
For e.g Adwords API have Detail explanation

To differentiate between managed, automatic, and excluded placements:

   - Managed placements will have IsNegative = FALSE and Id *not* equal to two 
   dashes 
    
(--). 
   If you are only interested in managed placements, add IsNegative = FALSE 
   AND Id > 0 to your request.
   - Automatic placements will have IsNegative = FALSE and Id equal to two 
   dashes 
    
(--). 
   If you are only interested in automatic placements, consider using the 
   AUTOMATIC_PLACEMENTS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT 
   

instead.
   - Excluded placements will have IsNegative = TRUE and Id *not* equal to two

But Google Ads API has nothing. Only Services/Resources which has no 
explanation for the fields. I only came to know which Services needs to use 
after contacting Google Ads API Forum.
Like How I can get excluded placements, Automatic Placements with metrics, 
Devices data etc.

 

2) If I need to use CRITERIA_PERFORMANCE_REPORT there is no mapping to 
Google Ads API or there is no other way I can use.

At the campaign level, keywords can only be excluded, and not targeted. You can 
refer to our criteria usage guide to learn more about the compatibility of each 
criteria type in the campaign or ad group level.

indicates that the conversion type was not enabled at the time of the click. To 
elaborate, it occurs if the click date of the offline conversion's GCLID is 
before any conversions were enabled in your Google Ads account. For the 
validations and tips to ensure successful conversion uploads, you may refer to 
this guide.

However, if you can confirm that the conversion type was already enabled when 
the click occurred, could you share the detailed SOAP request and response logs 
so I can investigate further? You may reply using the Reply privately to author 
option.

Could you confirm if my understanding is correct that you are comparing the 
data of generated in Campaign Performance Report and Campaign Location Target 
Report? I am afraid that you will indeed experience data discrepancies as the 
data/metrics of the said report are accumulated at different level.

The Campaign Performance Report should return all statistics generated for the 
campaign, including those triggered by different, ads or criteria. The Campaign 
Location Target Report, on the other hand, focuses only on statistics generated 
by location criteria that are explicitly being targeted by the campaign. That 
said, you are correct that you can use the Campaign Location Target Report to 
get the targeted location of campaigns.

Upon checking your code, I can see that you are using the AdService. As per the 
link provided, this service can only support SET operator. This is the reason 
why you are encountering the error OPERATOR_NOT_SUPPORTED. You can use the 
AdGroupAdService.mutate() instead to remove the ad from the ad group instead. 
Unfortunately, we do not have an exact sample code on how to remove videos from 
Universal App Campaigns.

Issues with adding Keywords to campaign

Hello, I want to add keywords at the campaign level and not the ad_group 
level, but I'm running into trouble. Below is a sample of my error.

Missing Ad Groups in Ad Performance Report

Hi there,

I'm using the AdWords API to pull Ad Group Performance data and noticed a 
few ad groups that are missing in the API pull but are visible in reports 
pulled through the UI. These ad groups have clicks and impressions which is 
leading to a large discrepancy between the reports pulled through the API 
and reports pulled through the UI.

Any help would be appreciated.

CLICK_MISSING_CONVERSION_LABEL intermittent error

We have an integration using AdWords API that we use to upload offline 
conversions using the OfflineConversionFeedService (
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201809/OfflineConversionFeedService).
 
We have recently seen a scenario with a customer where we are receiving 
CLICK_MISSING_CONVERSION_LABEL errors intermittently. For other offline 
conversion uploads for the same customer, we are successful. We have 
verified with the customer that they are not disabling & re-enabling, or 
deleting & re-adding the conversion, or editing its name. The conversion we 
are attempting to upload to was created several months ago (Sept 2018 I 
believe) and has not been edited since. 

Here are some example GCLIDs we are trying to upload that get the error:

Does Product Partition Report cpc bid reflect device modifiers

['Sifang Chu' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum]

The device field of the product partition table is defined as "Device type 
where the impression was shown." Does this mean only the impression metrics 
reflects devices type. All other metrics, including cpcbid, are aggregated 
over all device types? If so, how does one find out the specific cpcbid for 
a particular device type?

Hi Anthony,

I have already tried, and found that i am getting UNSPECIFIED only where UI 
is  saying Eligible.

Please see array what I was received and what the UI is
