Re: Developer Token not Approved on testing client account

2018-10-22 Thread Satoru Nakata
Hello,

I'm getting the same issue while following this
tutorial.
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/first-api-call#create_test_accounts
My test account is 505-002-7092
My test MCC account is 756-028-1270
My prod MCC account is 482-920-6970
I confirmed that it is dispalyed as test account on the web console.

I can't start developing my application until this issue is resolved or my
developer token is approved. And it seems the issue has been there for 10+
days. Is there any ETA?

Hi David,

In resetting the developerToken in the new UI, you could do so by
navigating to *Settings > API Center*, click the drop down in the
developerToken field and click the *Reset Token* text.

Let me know if you have further clarifications.

I was wondering if there was a way to reset the dev token on the new UI.

Even if we go to the api center, the regenerate token text is not shown on
the page. Is there a new route / method to do this?

Developer Token not Approved on testing client account

2018-10-01 Thread faizan . zulfiqar
Here are the steps i did for making API's Run

1. Create a Developer Token with the MCC Account
2. Create Test Manager Account and its client account.
3. Create OAuth credentials with the manager account.
4. Get Refresh Token with the Test Manager Account.

Now when i am trying to hit getcampaign Api via php library. it gave me
error of DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED
when i change my client id to test manager account. API is working
perfectly file with result : 0 record found.

can anyone guide me what i am doing wrong in it ?

Re: Where can I find developer token

2018-07-30 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Tomaz,

If you can't see the API Center in your AdWords account, you may be using
an AdWords client account. You could only see the API Center when you are
using an Ads Manager account/MCC account
<https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6139186>. If you don't have
an MCC account yet, you may create by following this guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/signup>. Let me know
if you have further clarifications.

Thanks and regards,

Re: How to get developer token

2018-07-17 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Sreekanth,

After creating your MCC account, you should request for basic access
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/access-levels#basic_access> by
filling up and submitting this form
<https://services.google.com/fb/forms/newtoken/> for you to be able to make
API calls to your production account. The AdWords Compliance Team should
contact you within 2 business days for its status. Your developer token can
be found by logging in to Adwords UI using your MCC account then got to
*Tools,
billing, and settings* icon and select *AdWords API Center.*

The next step would be to generate your OAuth2 credentials
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/authentication> to
get your client ID, client secret and refresh token, then download a client
library <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/clientlibraries>.
Once your setup has been completed and basic access has been approved, you
may then be able to make calls using your production account. Feel free to
write back to me for anything you may need to clarify about the guides and
if there are any specific subjects you wish to learn about the AdWords API.

Thanks and regards,
Luis

Re: How to get developer token

2018-07-17 Thread Sreekanth Yedla
After Creating the Manager account, how do we get the developer token???
I don't see any documentation on this.
the MCC seems to be more UI based management, but we are trying to access
the adwords report through the API interface.

The API interface is asking for Client ID, Secret key, Refresh Token and
the Developer Token.

Where and how to get the Developer Token after we create the Manager
Account, this is so convoluted..

Please HELP

Will I meet the requirements for an API Developer Token?

2018-07-11 Thread Mans
Hi,

I run a marketing agency who wants to pull in Adwords data to our own
internal reporting and analytics dashboard. The main things we want to do
is:

   - Pull reports on ads managed by us (Performance, Search volumes for our
   keywords etc)
   - Pull TargetingIdeaService and TrafficEstimatorService data to analyse
which keywords we should be considering to target

It will not exceed 1000 reports per day for sure.

That's pretty much it. We use Python to pull a bunch of different data
sources together for KPI reporting and for scoping out interesting keywords
and so the above is all we really need. But when looking at the RMF I get
confused if we are exempt or not from the RMF because we are going to use
it for (A) only internal use, and (B) the fact that we will only use the
basic access (which both seem exempt) but then there's (C) the mention on
the same page stating the below:

*"If an AdWords API Client provides any functionality related to
TargetingIdeaService or TrafficEstimatorService, it must fully implement
the required Creation Functionality, Management Functionality and Reporting
Functionality marked "Required" in the table below."*

All three elements which seem contradictory to me (as I don't know the
hierarchy of the statements) are found here:

So basically my question is twofold:
1. Is my use case okay generally to be allowed access?
2. Will we be exempt from the RMF given the information I provided above or
will the RMF apply?

Would really appreciate any help because I don't want to apply and then
find out after two weeks that we cannot do what we intend unless we develop
ALL the required functionality in the RMF.

*Thanks a lot!*

*Mans*

Action not permitted error occurs while submitting API application form
means, that user might not have correct access level
 for the account
to perform the operation. To prevent this please make sure you login into
the AdWords MCC account via google chrome incognito window mode and login
user must have admin access level to that MCC account. Please give it a try
and let me know if you were able to create the token. In case you are still

Re: Developer token not approved error when running getcampaigns

Hi Sean,

The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/common-errors#QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED>
 error
means that you were making a call to production AdWords account using test
access developer token. An unapproved developer token can only make calls
against test AdWords accounts. Also, please check if you have filled out
the second part <https://services.google.com/fb/forms/newtoken/> of the
application form. If not, please fill it out. Once you submit that form,
the AdWords API Compliance team will respond with an answer within a
business day. Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks,
Milind, AdWords API Team.

Re: How can I get developer token to test api in test account adwords?

2018-04-30 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Rajkumar,

To get the developer token, you will need to sign into your production
manager account and navigate to the AdWords API Center. If you don't have a
production manager account, please create
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/signup#step_1_choose_or_create_an_adwords_manager_account>
 one
and follow the instructions in this guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/signup#step-2> to
get the developer token. A developer token by default will have test
access. You will need to apply
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/signup#step_3_continue_your_application>
 for
the API access to get the token approved. Once approved, you can use that
token to make API calls against production AdWords accounts. Let me know if
you have any additional questions.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Developer token request for basic access was rejected by google adwords

2018-04-16 Thread Abdul Qadir
Greetings,

I would like to develop a keyword research tool using the TargetingIdeaService
and TrafficEstimatorService. I managed to create such but when i requested
Developer token for approval i was reject with the message below

" Dear API Applicant,

Thank you for submitting an application to the AdWords API. Unfortunately,
the application you submitted was rejected due to the following:

*Tools that offer only keyword research are not allowed by the AdWords
API Policy <https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6169371>. *Thus,
we are not able to approve an API token for your stated use case. We
recommend directing your clients to the Keyword Tool in the AdWords
front-end for their keyword research needs. "

how i can get my developer token approved ?

any help regarding this would be great to us.

Thanks

Regarding Developer Token

2018-04-12 Thread deepak khetarpal
Hello there,

I am currently trying to integrate google adword API using PHP for one of
my client. I have set up everything and have following details:

I have created a project in my google developer console and selected
application type as other. Had already set up client id and client secrets
and have got the request token using getAccessToken.php

Here is the url for your reference:

http://adwords.notewaredigital.com/vendor/googleads/googleads-php-lib/examples/AdWords/Auth/GetRefreshToken.php

I copied and pasted that url created by the above url with my client id and
got the refresh token. The generated refresh token is added to auth.ini
file.

After that, in the test mode, I have set up a developer token on my test
account here:

https://adwords.google.com/aw/apicenter?ocid=265571168&__c=8092161632=0&__u=6600827946

So in my auth, ini, I have client id, client secret, refresh token and
developer token.

But, when I try to
run
http://adwords.notewaredigital.com/vendor/googleads/googleads-php-lib/examples/AdWords/v201705/BasicOperations/GetCampaigns.php

It still gives me error of type

An error has occurred: { "error": "unsupported_grant_type",
"error_description": "Invalid grant_type: " }

Can you please check and suggest what is missing here.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Deepak

Re: Not able to access API using production Account developer token?

2018-03-30 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Are you getting USER_PERMISSION_DENIED
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/common-errors#AuthorizationError.USER_PERMISSION_DENIED>
 error?
If so, it means that there is no link between the manager account
authenticated in the request and the client account specified in the
headers. The points listed below should be helpful for you:

   1. The test and production accounts cannot interact in any way, you may
not use a test account under your existing production manager account. The
test manager hierarchy and production manager hierarchy can be maintained
   separately. Please check here

<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/accounts-overview#test_accounts>
 for
   more details.
   2. A developer token can be used to target *any* AdWords account. If the
developer token is having test access, you will not be able to make calls
against test accounts. If the developer token is approved, you will be able
to make calls against the product accounts as well. To use a developer
token while making calls against an account, it is not required for that
account to be linked with the MCC owning the token.
   3. Assuming that the production accounts and test accounts are in two
   different hierarchies,
3.1) To make calls against the Production MCC or any of the production
client accounts in that hierarchy, you can use the client credentials
(client Id, client secret) and OAuth tokens (access token, refresh token)
   owned by an
admin user on the production MCC account. It is important to make sure
that the authorization code was generated (after accepting the prompt
manually) by the user having access to the production MCC account.
3.2) To make calls against the Test MCC or any of the test client
accounts in that hierarchy, you can use the client credentials (client Id,
client secret) and OAuth tokens (access token, refresh token) owned by an
admin user on the test MCC account. It is important to make sure that the
authorization code was generated (after accepting the prompt manually) by
the user having access to the test MCC account.

Please check the guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/first-api-call#set_up_oauth2_authentication>
 to
setup the OAuth for more details. Please give this a try and let me know if
you are still facing issues. If yes, could you write back with the SOAP
logs, the client customer Id of the target account and the email Id
authenticating the API call?

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Google AdWords Developer Token Approval Email

2018-03-15 Thread hsn . elamir . manager
Hello

I'm managing a big website with million of daily visitors for online gaming
and also a developer with passion to automate most of daily life tasks, Ten
days ago i applied for AdWords developer token to automate my campaigns
keyword research process using my internal command line app which im the
only one will going to use, my application got rejected as it cant use
keyword research only (as per AdWords poilcy) i locked myself up in my room
for another sven days coding day and night till i finished a complete
solution that can take my csv file and create campaigns on the fly for
thousands of highly optimized ads with one click, i re-submitted my
application this time with confidant that im aligning with google AdWords
policies %100 (i even shared my complete source code using a public
repository in the design document), i got below answer from approval team

"The account you applied from does not have much spend history in
AdWords..."

I'm a little confused, despite the fact that i spent hundred of hours
creating my app, and im complying %100 with AdWords policies, i can't find
a single line that refer to AdWords spending history to be pre-approved !
or any reference for spending limits to start submitting the application .

I'm really tired and not sure what to do next, feeling like shooting the
dark, Anyone know can help me with this ? i really appreciate some help
here to get approved from experienced people like you.

Thanks in advance

Re: How can I get developer token to test api in test account adwords?

2018-03-08 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

The 'invalid_grant' error usually occurs when the access token or refresh
token is invalid or incorrect. Could you try regenerating the tokens

 following
the steps in the linked guide? To verify that your credentials are correct,
you could also try the CURL request provided below and see if you are able
to generate the access token.

curl https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v4/token \
-d refresh_token= \
-d client_id= \
-d client_secret= \
-d grant_type=refresh_token

If you are still facing issues, could you please create a new thread and
share the details of the error there? That will help us keep better track
of the issues.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Re: invalid_grant after updating developer token

2018-03-04 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

It seems that the original manager account's email address (aside from
using this in requesting the developer token originally) was also used to
generate the OAuth2 credentials (client ID, client secret, refresh token)
that's why you received the invalid_grant error with "Account has been
deleted" error description even after updating the developer token.

With this, I recommend you to generate a new OAuth2 credentials
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/authentication#generate_oauth2_credentials>
 by
selecting a new user with admin/standard access from the new manager
account. The guide includes the "Configure and use a client library"
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/authentication#configure_and_use_a_client_library>
 section
which has a step-by-step guide in generating the refresh token depending on
the client library that you are using.

If the issue still persists after following the suggestion, then kindly
provide your SOAP request and response logs or any error logs together with
the API user's email address and clientCustomerId via *Reply privately to
author* option so I can further investigate.

Thanks,
Vincent

invalid_grant after updating developer token

2018-03-04 Thread klake
Hello,

We recently lost access to our original manager account email, so we
granted access to another account, then made that account the manager.
After regenerating our developer token, we are now getting this message.

INFO:oauth2client.client:Refreshing access_token
INFO:oauth2client.client:Failed to retrieve access token: {
  "error" : "invalid_grant",
"error_description" : "Account has been deleted"
}

Is there anyway to update refresh_token?

Thanks!

Hi KDJ,

Can you confirm if you have set your value correctly for the developer
token field
<https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib/blob/master/examples/AdWords/CSharp/App.config#L58>
 in
your property file and still the null error is generated? If so, can you
provide to me your whole SOAP request and response logs via *Reply
privately to author option* so I can further check if indeed the developer
token (with REDACTED value) was added in the SOAP header? If you haven't
enabled the SOAP logs yet, you can enable it by following this guide
<https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib#how-to-enable-logging>.

Re: Resetting Developer Token and Client Secrets

2018-02-14 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Peter,

My apologies for the confusion in regards to the developer token. Based on
the guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/reset-devtoken>,
yes, you can always reset your developer token if you feel that this is
compromised. In regards to the impact of resetting your developer token
with your OAuth2 credentials, this does not have an impact. You can still
use your current OAuth2 credentials (client ID, client secret, refresh
token) with your new value of your developer token immediately. When you
reset your developer token, the old developer token is also invalidated
immediately.

For resetting your client secret in the Google API Console Credentials page
<https://console.developers.google.com/apis/credentials>, it will also
invalidate immediately the old client secret for a given client ID.
However, as you have tested (I have also tested this on my test account),
this does not have any effect to the refresh token as generally, refresh
token is tied up to your client ID. So if your client ID is still existing,
and you did not delete it, then the refresh token will still be valid not
unless you have reached the limit of 50 refresh tokens. If you really want
to manually invalidate the refresh token, then you need to revoke it.
<https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuth2InstalledApp#tokenrevoke>

Let me know if my explanation is clear or if you have further
clarifications.

Thanks,
Vincent

Re: Resetting Developer Token and Client Secrets

2018-02-14 Thread Peter Lanser
Hi Vincent,

actually you can reset the developer token:
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/reset-devtoken

Maybe my question was not clear enough. We had to reset our developer token
and secrets of existing OAuth2 client configurations. My question would
have been if these changes take effect immediately and if these changes
have any effects on existing refresh tokens (of the reset OAuth2
configurations).

However, in the meantime we did these changes with the following outcomes:

- After reset the previous developer token is invalidated immediately.
- The same is true for resetting the secret of an existing OAuth2
credential. After the reset the previous secret is invalidated immediately.
- The existing refresh tokens (of the reset OAuth2 configuration) have *not*
been invalidated by these changes. They are still valid.

Regards,
Peter

However, neither the reset of the developer token nor the reset of of an
existing OAuth2 secret had any effects on existing refresh tokens of this
(reset) OAuth credential.

Re: Resetting Developer Token and Client Secrets

2018-02-12 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Peter,

You cannot reset on your end the developer token as the token is generated
when you completed the sign-up
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/signup>for an MCC
account (all the 3 steps in the guide). However, do you have any reasons
(e.g. is it compromised or have you accidentally shared it to somebody?) on
why you want to reset your developer token? If you wish to have your
developer token be reset, I can notify the AdWords Compliance Team to
confirm if this is possible.

In terms of OAuth2 credentials (client ID, client secret, refresh token),
you can create a new client ID and secret in the Google API Console
Credentials page <https://console.developers.google.com/apis/credentials>.
When you create a new client ID in the credentials page, it won't
invalidate other existing client IDs unless you manually delete them in the
credential page. When you delete a client ID, you cannot use it in your API
requests as this will generate an error.

As for your refreshToken, since it is dependent of your *clientId* and
*clientSecret*, then once you delete the two, this will invalidate all the
refresh tokens associated to it. However, if your goal is to generate a new
refresh token only for a specific client ID, then the old refresh token
won't be invalidated unless you manually revoked its access
<https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuth2WebServer#tokenrevoke>
or
you have reached the limit of 50 refresh tokens (e.g. your 51st generation
of refresh token will invalidate the first/oldest refresh token for a given
client ID) per user/email account. You can check this guide
<https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuth2#expiration> for
more information on this.

Furthermore, you can check this guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/authentication> for
more information on how to authenticate in the AdWords API.

Let me know if you have further clarifications.

Thanks,
Vincent

Resetting Developer Token and Client Secrets

2018-02-12 Thread Peter Lanser
Hi,

we would like to reset our developer token and certain OAuth client secrets.

Does a reset invalidate existing tokens / secrets immediately or is there a
chance to keep them valid for a certain amount of time for example?
Ánd will existing OAuth refresh tokens be affected by a change of an OAuth
secret?

Regards,
Peter

Re: Developer token accepted by other accounts besides one account

2018-01-31 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

The QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED

 error
you are encountering indicates that you are using a developerToken that has
not yet been granted with basic access
,
against a production client/MCC account. This being said, in order to make
successful requests to production accounts, you will first need to apply
for basic access and you can do so by filling up and submitting this
application
form .

The AdWords Compliance Team should contact you within 2 business days for
its status. I hope this helps and feel free to write back if you have any
additional concerns. As for your other accounts that were successful, they
were possibly test accounts, and that is why you did not encounter the
error when making calls using them as your clientCustomerId.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Developer token accepted by other accounts besides one account

2018-01-31 Thread Advertising Service Account
Hello,

We are using the API's developer token to make requests.
It is to my understanding that sub-accounts on a main account can
effectively share a developer token once access is granted to one.
Through testing, we can see that this is the case for our other clients (we
use one developer token to access various sub-accounts' data).
Unfortunately, one of our accounts is having trouble when making the API
call for google adwords, using the same developer token.
We are getting the message "QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED".

Let me know if I can provide any more information.

Thanks in advance

Cannot get Developer Token from Google Adwords

2017-12-05 Thread maestroyazilim
Hi,

When i applied for developer token, returned an answer from Google;

"The account you applied from does not have much spend history in AdWords.
The best use cases for the API are typically advertisers or agencies that
manage a sizable number of ads.

Is there another AdWords account your business uses to manage campaigns?"

I did not understand what is wrong?

Thanks

Yes, you may use any developer token to use the AdWords API's services and

Hi Vijo,

To apply for standard access please follow the instructions listed in this
guide

.

If you are getting rate limit errors with Developer scope, you can apply
for standard access. Once you have your access approved, you can make
unlimited API operations and unlimited report downloads per day. If you are
getting rate limit errors with Account scope, upgrading the access to
standard access will not help. You will need to slow down

and
retry the request after the time specified in retryAfterSeconds
.

You could also, look into the best practices

 to
avoid the rate limit errors. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank You,

Re: Developer Token Not Approved

2017-11-22 Thread ngala . nts . net
Hi Sreelakshmi,

I filled in the second part and it worked. I believe there might be some
information missing when I filled up the initial form which got completed
in the second part. It just took a day for them to approve it.
Thank you for the help, appreciated.

Best,
Nishant.

You can fill out a fresh form and submit it for basic access. If you have
additional questions while filling out the form, you can get in touch with
the API compliance team
directly.
They are better equipped to address questions about token approvals.

Hi Sreelakshmi,

It seems, I haven't completed this second part as i never reached this
form. Also, I notice this is a form requesting a fresh new token and asks
questions about previous tokens if any. I am not sure whether i have to
fill out a fresh new token form and submit it, but will submit it and see
what reviewer team decides.

Thank you,

Developer Token Not Approved

2017-11-20 Thread ngala . nts . net
Hi,

I am very new to google adwords api have used analytics api before so
followed the steps from making the first api call to adwords api and
generated the developer token.
My company have a mcc account and few accounts under mcc accounts which i
am using to run a test program getCampaign.java where in it complaints me
about Dev token not approved.
I generated the token on friday and only data i need to access is the count
of clicks on the ads.
I am not sure whether i am missing out on something or whats the issue.

How long does it take to get the token approved ?
Is there anything on my end yet to be done which is y the dev token is
still not approved ?

Looking forward for some replies.

Thank you,
Nishant.

Re: Developer token not approved??

2017-11-17 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hello,

The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/common-errors#QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED>
 error
is usually encountered if you're using an unapproved developer token to
make calls against a production account. Can you confirm if you've
submitted an application <https://services.google.com/fb/forms/newtoken/> for
the Basic access? If yes, the API Compliance Team will respond with an
answer within two business days through the email address provided in the
AdWords API Center. Please ensure that it is a regularly monitored inbox.
You can also contact the API Compliance Team by submitting this form
<https://services.google.com/fb/forms/apicontact/> to follow up on your
application. Meanwhile, you can continue using the API, by using the
developer token to make API calls against test accounts
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/accounts-overview#test_accounts>
.

Re: My Developer Token disappeared

2017-11-14 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Don't be stressed as we are always here to help you. :)

In regards to the developer token, could you confirm if you cannot find it
in the new AdWords UI? If you are referring to the new UI, then we are
aware of the issue in the new UI on which the AdWords API Center page is
not available. In the meantime, you can switch back to your old AdWords UI
by clicking on *Tools button > Return to previous AdWords*. In the old
AdWords UI, you can see the developer token in the *Account Settings >
AdWords API Center*.

In regards to the Google Developer Console on which you said that your
project seems to be empty, I am afraid that this is already out of scope
for our team. However, please check this link
<https://support.google.com/googleapi/answer/7014572?hl=en_topic=7014869>
on how to contact the appropriate team for this.

Thanks,

My Developer Token disappeared

2017-11-14 Thread Minas
Hello All,

I have a weird problem. So I have developed an Adwords application and all
is working.

I wanted to check my Developer Token on Adwords and I cannot seem to find
it :( Not sure if this is a UI issue or not but there is no sign of it!
My app is functioning without an issue though. So I do not think my token
is disabled...

Also, another strange thing is that my projects on Google Developer Console
seem to be empty :/
Well, I have noted my project ID, client ID and client secret. It is also
working LOL

But I am wondering if anyone else had this same strange issue??

Is there any support line I can get some information? Because I am feeling
a bit... well stressed.

Thank you

Hi Thomas,

I will be following up on your questions as Jude is out today. Please find
my answered below :

   1. Could you help us to check how many MCC Accounts that we have and who?
From your client account, you could navigate to the Account Settings ->
Account access page. The Account access page will have Manager accounts
linked with the client account under "Client managers" section. I see this
specific client account has two manager accounts.

   2. What should we do if we create new MCC Accounts with existing adwords
and how about the payment method in registration new MCC Accounts ?
You can create a new production manager account (MCC) by following the
   steps listed here

.

Please note that you will not be able to reuse an email which is already
associated with any AdWords account. Once you have the Manager account
created, you could link that manager account using the
   ManagedCustomerService.mutateLink

 as
   described here

.

Or do this using the AdWords UI by following the steps listed here
   .
You
   could go over this guide

 to
understand the different billing options available. Let me know if you have
   any specific question about billing.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Re: Cant Get Developer Token

2017-10-27 Thread thomas . wangsa
Hello Jude,

Really thanks for your confirmation.

May i ask some question about this issue ?

1. Yesterday we have a call with "google adwords supports" in our country
to ask about our MCC Accounts.
They said our MCC Accounts email is T**adw...@gmail.com but they
could not make sure and did not know other MCC Accounts that we have.

The problem is we dont have access with T**adw...@gmail.com
anymore.
So, could you help us to check how many MCC Accounts that we have and
who ?

2. you recommend us to create new MCC Accounts right ?
what should we do if we create new MCC Accounts with existing adwords
and how about the payment method in registration new MCC Accounts ?

We need some clearly information for get some options to solve this issue,
please let us know if you think we need more information.

2017-10-25 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Joe,

There should be no regional restrictions for developer tokens. In order to
better investigate your issue, could you provide the clientCustomerId you
used and the complete generated SOAP request and response? You may reply
via the *Reply privately to author *option.

Is AdWords API Developer Token Access limited to a region?

2017-10-25 Thread Joe Flood
Hi There,

We have recently on-boarded a new client in a new region (jakarta - we are
Sydney AU based), and we're having trouble retrieving campaigns through the
Adwords API for their account. (no issues for existing clients).

We *can *retrieve the client's account through the "CustomerService", but
when retrieving campaigns for this account, we receive an empty list, with
no errors.

This would be the first non-aus client, so my hunch is that this may be
caused by a region locking on our developer account, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know if this may be the case?

Thanks,
Joe

Re: Cant Get Developer Token

2017-10-24 Thread 'Jude Amagoh' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Thomas,

I took a look at CID: 885-367-4573, due to it being a client account you
won't be able to apply for API access. As discussed earlier, only Adwords
Manage (MCC) Accounts can request API access. Unfortunately, Adwords don't
allow you to change a client account to a manager account. I recommend you
create a new MCC Account
,
request API access, then link

 all
the accounts you wish to manage.

Re: Cant Get Developer Token

2017-10-23 Thread 'Jude Amagoh' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I'm from the Adwords API Team, i'd be happy to assist you in retrieving a
developer token so you can advance to making you first API call. You'll
only be able to sign up for API access from your production AdWords Manager
account. You need to create a Production AdWords Manager account by
following the instructions provided here
<https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1704399> and apply for API
access from your production manager account by following this guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/signup#step_2_apply_for_access_to_the_adwords_api>.

Please note that you'll be granted a developer token with test access which
can be used to target test accounts. You need to submit the basic access
application form <https://services.google.com/fb/forms/newtoken/> to get
your developer token approved. After token approval, you'll be able to
target production accounts as well.

Best Regards,
Jude, Adwords API Team

Our company submitted a request for a developer token on Aug 28th and still

Since we have no email response, we cannot reply and ask for feedback.

How can we get the status?

Hi,

It is possible to apply for a basic access
<https://services.google.com/fb/forms/newtoken/> of a developer token even
though you only have a read only access. The read only access
<https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1704346?hl=en> only applies to
the permissible actions that you can do in the AdWords UI/product itself,
and not in the applying of a developer token.

Let us know if you encounter any issues when applying a basic access of

Developer token not approved after 4 weeks

2017-08-15 Thread mmcgonigle via AdWords API Forum
Our company submitted a request for a developer token approval on July 17th
and still have not heard anything.
What do we need to do in order to get this approved?

Re: How can I get developer token to test api in test account adwords?

2017-08-07 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Sathish,

You must have a production(non-test) AdWords manager account to apply for
access to the API. You can create one by following these instructions
<https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1704399>. You'll only see the
*AdWords
API Center* link if you've logged in to a production manager account. You
must use the production (non-test) manager account's developer token to
make API calls against a test account. Even if the token is pending
approval, you can still use it to make calls against test accounts.

Regards,
Shwetha, AdWords API Team.
