Hi Ralf,

Thank you for providing your logs in the private thread. This is also to 
confirm receipt of the said logs.

Moving forward, the API does not appear to recognize (type_: UNKNOWN) some of 
the conversion actions retrieved from your account. That said, if the 
conversions or conversion actions are associated to other platforms such as 
Google Analytics, then it would not be possible to perform conversion 
adjustments using the Google Ads API, on the said conversions.

The following items still needs response / clarification from you so that we 
can further investigate:

Perform a request for the conversion_action report (get the ID and type) and 
provide the generated and complete request and response logs, with the 
request-id
Moving forward, the possible reason why this error occurred is because the 
GCLID is not from Google Analytics. With this, could you confirm if this GLID 
is indeed created on Google Analytics side? If yes and the error still 
persisting, then please let me know so that I can discuss it to the rest of the 
team.

Also, you may reach out once more to the matelso.com support team to confirm 
where they acquired the GCLID from.

Thank you for the reply. I am also a member of the Google Ads API / AdWords API 
team and let me provide support to your concern.

To answer your question below, I am afraid that there is no service / method in 
the API that can return this set of data. The workaround is, you will need to 
enable the logging of API transactions instead by following this guide as you 
can determine if the gclid encountered any issues, the conversion action where 
it is uploaded and the timestamps of the API requests.

check if everything is correct and I could finally see if the removing of the 
conversion worked."

For this issue that persists, could you provide the updated request and 
response logs with request ID generated on your end to investigate? Please

Hi Antony,

Thanks for your answer. I have the data at hand, but I do not know how to 
send it to you "privately". The button for that is disabled for me and I 
have no idea how I could change that.

Retract conversion from Google Ads (with Python)

My goal is to retract several conversions which I imported to Google Ads 
from Google Analytics earlier. For this, I am using the code example 
"Upload Conversion Adjustments" from the documentation of the Google Ads API 
<https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/conversions/upload-adjustments?hl=en>
.

As a result, I get a "Partial Failure" code 3: "This customer does not have 
a conversion action of a supported ConversionActionType that matches the 
conversion action provided., at conversion_adjustments[0].conversion_action"

The conversion action could be wrong. I found it as a parameter on the 
Google Ads Panel as described here

(Actually, I wonder how I can get this ID via the API itself.)
