Subject: [DKIM Failure] [Ai] Dr. Saibaba's Letter From Jail: "I Do Not Think I
Will Survive This Winter"

NEW DELHI: Dr G.N.Saibaba Professor at Delhi University and now in
solitary confinement in Nagpur Central Jail has spoken out for help.
Disabled, he has
been branded a Maoist and sentenced to life imprisonment. The
sentencing has been controversial with many who supported and defended
the Professor insisting
that he has been persecuted by governments for raising a voice against
paramilitary operations in the primarily tribal Adivasi belts of
central and eastern
India.

The government has not entertained these arguments, and nor have the
courts, with THE Professor, 90 per cent disabled and suffering from
multiple ailments,
himself writing in this letter to his wife Vasantha that he might not
be able to survive the winter months in jail. He has been convicted
under the Unlawful
Activities (Prevention) Act in what those convinced of his innocence
describe as a travesty of justice.

The letter was written on October 17 and received by his wife on
October 25. It reads as follows:

Dear Vasantha

I am frightened to think of coming winter. Already I am shivering with
continuous fever. I do not have a blanket. I do not have a
sweater/jacket. As temperature
goes down excruciating pain continuously in my legs and left hand
increases. It is impossible for me to survive here during the winter
that starts from
November.

I am living here like an animal taking its last breaths. Somehow 8
months I managed to survive. But I am not going to survive in the
coming winter. I am
sure. It is of no use to write about my health any longer.

In any case, please finalize the senior counsel by or before the end
of this month. Then inform Mr. Gadling to file my bail application in
the first week
of November or last week of October itself. You remember if this is
not done in this way, my situation will be out of hands. I am not
responsible. I am
making clear to you. Hereafter I am not going to write about it any longer.

You should talk to Mrs Rebeccaji and Nandita Narain. You also talk to
Prof. Haragopal and others. Explain the entire situation. You need to
hurry up.

I am feeling so depressed for requesting you all so many times like a
beggar, a destitute. But none of you are moving an inch, no one
understand my present
condition. No one understands 90% disabled person is behind bars
struggling with one hand in condition and suffering with multiple
ailments. And no one
cares for my life. This is simply criminal negligence, a callous attitude.

Please take care of your health. Your health is my health and entire
family’s health. There is no one else to take care of your health for
now. Till I
am in your presence, you have to take care of your health without any
negligence.

Lots of love

Yours

Sai

But in Prof. Saibaba's case, it has become a matter of life and death.
And it is extremely saddening to see such limited support or protest

2017-10-29 Thread payal jethra via Ai
Hi All,

Sure there will be plenty of us visiting stores across Mumbai city.
Vineet & the Big Bazar team have worked over a period of months to
create this experience for us.

@Ajay, it’s great that you were able to visit the store at your home
town. Would be great if you could share a more specific & detailed
account of your visit. This would help all of us understand the
difference in shopping experiences from what we have experienced
earlier & how this soft launch is making a difference.

Waiting to hear more experiences.

Warm Regards,
Payal Jethra.

 Hi,

Go to windows update settings and then set windows not to install
 updates for few days.

Alternatively, go to your wi-fi network's settings and make it a
metered connection. Updates generally don't get downloaded over a
 metered connection.

 Hope this helps,
 Ajay

Re: [Ai] [AI] Soft launch of an accessible shopping experience at Big Bazaar stores across 17 cities, 29th to 31st October

2017-10-29 Thread Ajay Minocha via Ai
Hi Everyone,

I got to experience the soft launch at the Faridabad store. First of
all, hats off to our friend Vineet who designed and drove this idea to
a logical conclusion.

I found the store staff very professional and accomodating. This
launch shows how inclusion can be leveraged to make a perfect business
case. Hope it becomes a permanent feature across the country. Would
urge all of you to give it a try within next 2 days.

Cheers,
Ajay

[Ai] Dr. Saibaba's Letter From Jail: "I Do Not Think I Will Survive This Winter"

2017-10-29 Thread Shireen Irani via Ai

Yours

Sai

Re: [Ai] help require to get credit card

2017-10-29 Thread Sasidhar Babu via Ai
hi all yes SBI cards pvt ltd has not processing applications
with thumb. many credit card agents of SBI cards are not
accepting applications from visually challenged. I also applied
for sbi credit card. they have declined my credit card
application. I aasked for reason they are saying that currently
we are unable to issue credit card for you. it is very bad
that SBI cards PVT ltd a subsediary of SBI is not approving and
issuing credit cards with thumb for prospective visually
impaired customers. when I speak about this with a agent of SBI
card he said that you can apply with others sign but don't
say that you are blind when you received verification call.
thenone agent has taken application from me that is not
processed because of higher authority of that agent has rejected.
however one agent has send my application with thumb she got
scoldings from their higher authorities. finally they have
declined my application without saying any valid reason. I had
very bad experience with SBI cards PVTLTD. then I stopped trying
for credit card with other companys. please suggest me is there
anybuddy got credit card with thumb. I don't use credit cards
much but I need credit card for a financial status and to
avail certain discounts. and I may use them in emergency
situations.
