In all cases, they're not separated to dedicated libraries, instead, all code is linked to the normal libraries in those modules. This means that upon loading the respective library, all Accessibility related code is loaded, too. A better architecture would be to separate A11Y implementations into one ore more dedicated libraries, which are loaded on demand. This issue is about implementing this for the modules toolkit and svtools. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 44292] New - Links to named cells or ranges in other files not possible??
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=44292 Issue #:|44292 Summary:|Links to named cells or ranges in other files not |possible?? Component:|Spreadsheet Version:|OOo 2.0 Beta Platform:|All URL:| OS/Version:|All Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|DEFECT Priority:|P2 Subcomponent:|code Assigned to:|spreadsheet Reported by:|gunamoi --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Mar 6 23:32:36 -0800 2005 --- OpenOffice.org Calc lets you assign names to individual cells or cell ranges. Aside from making formulas easier to read, this feature allows you to still refer to the correct named cell even if rows or columns are inserted. Even after you insert or delete rows or columns, OpenOffice.org still correctly assigns the ranges identified by name. The defined name works for all sheets in a file, so for example if the name 'total' is defined as '$Sheet1.$A$1', then when you insert a formula in Sheet2 such as "=total" the result will be the number from the nmaed cell in Sheet1. All this is good and seems to work as it should. But what happens when I wish to refer to a named cell in another file? Calc allows me to reference a cell in another document. But the reference must be by address (e.g. ='file:///file1.ods'#$Sheet1.$A$1). Then if you edit File 1 and say add a row at the start, the reference in File2 will be wrong! Why do references to cells in another file not recognise names in that other file? e.g. surely it would be acceptable to reference the named cell like this: ='File:///file1.ods'#total ? I have raised this issue previously for version 1.1.0, and was told it would be fixed in version 2.0. Has a decision been made not to allow reference to named ranges in other files? or is it still coming in a future version? regards, - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Plotting a time series with 5000 data points may take 20 seconds or more. As a workaround, it will render much faster (<1 second) if you add a column of X values 1,2,... and make it an XY graph. Still, there's no reason for the line graph to be so slow. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Expandable toolboxes look the same to the novice, but allow greater efficiency of the UI for the expert. Docking several new toolbars wastes way more screen space than having the behavior of 1.1.4 "green triangle" toolboxes in the same place. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=44262 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Mar 6 16:52:08 -0800 2005 --- This is an absolute MUST. Now in OOo 2.0 beta we have toolbar entries in the Drawing toolbar that look exactly the same (an icon with a triagle next) but behave in different ways. At leat inconsistent and confusing. The "Curve" and "Connect" toolboxes behave as thet disi in 1.1.4: they do remember teh last selected item. But the new Shapes toolboxes look the same and behave different. They do NOT remember the last tool selected. You must to reopen it and select a tool in orden to draw anything. My point is toolbox (the expandable container for several tools within the toolbar) Let me add emphasis: toolboxes MUST work like in 1.1.4. At least toolboxes that did exists in 1.1.4 and now have been relegated by the new fancy ones. These new ppt-like toolboxes do NOT remember the last item selected. I know this is the way they work in PowerPoint, but in OOo I see that as a BUG. - Enrique - - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. However, in the slide show an extra line is added (from the first data point to the last data point). This is the same presenation as in Issue 44270, but a different (although similar) issue. Initial/default font is Times New Roman, 12 pt. Change font to 10 pt. Enter some line(s) of text. Left arrow back from the end of text. Right arrow EXACTLY to end of text and type. 10 pt size is maintained. Left arrow back from the end of text. Right arrow EXACTLY to the end of text, then right arrow once more. Enter more text; the size reverts to the default 12 pt. Backspace just EXACTLY over the 12 pt text and no further. Enter more text; it appears at the override 10 pt size. At the end of text, change font to Verdana (or just a different font) 36 pt. Type some text; it appears in that size. Right arrow once beyond the end of text. Type more text; the font and size revert to the default, Times New Roman 12 pt. Delete that new text via the backspace key, so that insertion point again abbuts Verdana 36 pt text. Type more text at the end of document. The override font and size of Verdana 36 pt continues. I appears that right arrow at the end of the document text causes Writer to think the insertion point has moved to a new paragraph that carries the default font and size. Writer should instead consider such a right arrow to be a null action and maintain the logical insertion point, with associated formatting et al., where it was before the right arrow. The dmake documentation doesn't mention special treatment for the environment variables from ruletab.c and therefore the correct patch should be: - ".IMPORT .IGNORE: DMAKEROOT SOLARVER UPD INPATH OS UPDMINOREXT", + ".IMPORT .IGNORE: DMAKEROOT", OOo sets these macros in $DMKEROOT\startup.mk ( We better keep DMAKEROOT ;) ) The proposed win95/microsft/vpp40/template.mk change is IMHO OK, but to be consistent I'd also remove OSRELEASE OSENVIRONMENT. As the ruletab.c is a tiny bit risky, I'll consider a new dmake CWS to put these patches in. vq->shay: Do you have a JCA on file? dmake has a special status in OOo, but it would be save to have it on file before I commit these changes. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Now there are bookmarks as default, and "notes" are exprted as annotations in PDF. But notes cannot be edited in Acrobar Reader. As a teacher, I see convenient to be able to add comments to a document sent to me as an assigment by students using OOo. The editable OOo format would be less suitable, PDF keeps fidelity in the main text, while allowing to add notes. [graphics-issues] [Issue 44246] New - Missing Arrows toolbar
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=44246 Issue #:|44246 Summary:|Missing Arrows toolbar Component:|Presentation Version:|OOo 2.0 Beta Platform:|All URL:| OS/Version:|All Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|DEFECT Priority:|P5 Subcomponent:|ui Assigned to:|wg Reported by:|ecastro --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Mar 6 11:53:35 -0800 2005 --- The Arrows toolbar is not listed in View>Toolbars... list. So, it is impossible to open this toolbar in Impress. The consequence is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to add a dimensions line. Those items are only available from the toolbar, there is no menu item, nor can be added by modifiying an existing shape. Arrow ends can be added to existing lines, but that's much more cumbersome than selecting the arrow you want and drawing it. I think this is definitely a regression bug. - Enrique - - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
