To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=53715 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 28 02:40:58 -0700 2005 --- I now can reproduce this with new documents. It seems that the problem is caused by animations within a group. Try it this way: 1. Create a new presentation in 1.1.4 2. Insert some objects and apply effects 3. Group this objects and apply an effect for the group Behaviour in 1.1.4: Only one effect (of the group) is shown Behaviour in m122: The effects within the group are additionally listed, but not performed So a workaround could be to remove the effects from the objects within the group. But I think too, that this is a regression and not very comfortable for users to go over many presentations to get them ready for OOo 2.0. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I placed labels on top of the PNG. I needed to export back to PNG, so attempted to combine the components because otherwise draw just exported the original object, not all the objects. If I click on the objects and press combine, the original image overwrites the objects that I have added. NOTE: Even if I group the objects or send (atange) the original image to back, this happens. The ONLY way to export so that my new objects (labels) are where they are, is to select them all then do an export to PNG. However, even this has problems and sometimes only a few can be seen. I have put a test file at the URL so that you can see an example of this. The identity SQL is then identity 3) Add another column, say name of type text. 4) Click save. 5) Give a table name click ok. You get a popup saying that a primary key isn't defined on this table and sould OO define one? 6) Choose yes. Primary key ID1 is automatically defined for the table but you now get a table create SQL error because you have more than one primary key defined on this table! The fix is to make the bigint/autovalue combination also set (automatically) the column as the primary key in design view. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. One style (ChildStyle) is linked with another (ParentStyle). ParentStyle has a page break before. If I try to remove this property from DependentStyle, the change applies on the screen, but it does not stay when I reopen the document. Steps to reproduce: 1.Create a new document 2.Create ParentStyle, 3.Modify style Text Flow Breaks: Insert: page, before, 4.Set some page style in the “With page style” field 5.Create DependentStyle with New Style from selection 6.Unselect the break property from 2. 7.Save 8.Close 9.Reopen. If only a year is given and is intended, it converts it to a date that isn't intended. This could be resolved by checking to see if the cell is in the correct format and if not defaulting to either 01/01/ or leave in format. I ran into this problem when I had some date infomation that had mixed format date info. Interestingly, calc recognized it as date info and presented it in mm/dd/yy format. While that worked in the 1990's, I would recommed that if it's going to recognize this type of info, the format be mm/dd/. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Will try latest version and test but you MUST be using the wizard as I stated. Just to be sure of the steps because there are several routes to creating auto-increment columns: 1) Start wizard 2) Choose a table (I chose invoices). 3) Select columns (I chose all the columns) 4) CLick Next 5) Click Next again 6) Choose Use existing field as primary key and a column to be a key (I chose InvoiceID). 7) Check auto value 8) Click next 9) Give a new table name and save in PUBLIC schema. 10) Click Finish. The error pops up. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [installation-issues] [Issue 42998] Mac OS X installer build of core application
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=42998 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 28 16:56:54 -0700 2005 --- Hi all I have tested Eric Hoch and Maho packages : for me they are equivalent and this is a good thing ! (Just my packages are different : using Start_OOo + postinstall script ) I just have seen Eric's and Maho's builds are relocatable, and I'd strongly suggest *they're not*, at least until we have a complete installer, working correctly. Middle Mac User is able to install OOo in strange locations (using 'magic' folder names ... etc) and this always generates bugs. Second, what is still missing is an Applescript lauching the application with a dockable icon. Without this feature, OOo won't be used at all, believe me. FYI, if no solution is found, I have rewritten another equivalent to the one from Terry Teague I usually include in my builds, but it's still very buggy and not complete. Probably Florian's one is more advanced. Note that the applescript is not sufficient, we need to include icons, Info.plist files, localized files to make this work the same way. Last but not least, is to exactly define the command line process, and where/how put everything, which will automatically build this part in the build (or at the end, why not). If you have no clue about how things are organized, OpenOffice.org application is just a folder containing a tree, with inside everything needed. -icons -pre-compiled scripts -localizations infos -menus infos ... To know more, download attached archive, uncompress it, right click and chose See package content. For memory, what I was proposing for the final user is : download .dmg double-click on metapkg icon - start install [ ... ok for install process, fine for me...] Note : at the end we use a postinstall script with inside : open -a /Application/openoffice.org1.9.{version} - a window opens this folder, and a dockable icon called OpenOffice.org2 appears The user has just to dock it to start OOo - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
