Open Writer 2. Insert a picture and add a caption for it 3. Mark them 4. DD them to a Calc spreadsheet This does not work. The only thing, what happens, is that you move the picture and its caption to the border of your Writer document, but not into Calc. If you use CP instead between the both application, it only copies the caption to Calc instead of the picture alongside with the caption. To get both - the picture and its caption - into Calc, you have to use Edit - Special Edit (I think, this is the English term ... ;) ) to get them into Calc ... :( I have not tested this any further with the different other options (plain text and maybe hyperlinks works, but not sure about objects and fields ... :( ), sorry for that. I think, redoffice should open different issues for each case (and @redoffice: Please do not open one issue for Win _and_ one for Linux, please and answer the questions you get! The used array formula provides the entire row of the regression statistics with a single function call. I am aware that this array function can be replaced by multiple independant function calls, but since the original regression function is of higher order than this example and it is used several hundred times in a workbook, calculation time will increase significantly. All tested Excel versions provide the correct results. The used operating system is Windows XP. did not work. I was playing around with the syntax and found one that worked:

I also feel that this is a bug. While the formatting works as I described
above, when you click on the Upper and Lower Limit, the following syntax is
shown which is incorrect:

When clicking on this button, I believe the following syntax should have been

2006 ---
Today I upgraded my OOo 2.0.2 to 2.0.3. The previous version was working
without any problems. When starting the upgrade from the command line it fails
with an alert box (no text in the console) which says: The application cannot
be started. An internal error occurred. As you can imagine, this is a
show-stopper for me.
Running the command:
strace /opt/openoffice.org2.0/program/soffice
provides more info. The output just prior to strange things happening is as

Using OOO 2.0.3 official RPM installed on SuSE 10.1. OOO shows Chinese as junk text on user interface thus making it difficult to work with it. I tried to change user interface font by subsituting Andale Sans UI to a Chinese font, after subsitution the user interface look exactly the same (bad). This is either a OOO bug or a document bug, or this is more like a document bug. I am afraid the document http://www.openoffice.org/FAQs/fontguide.html#9; which suggested subsitution of Andale Sans UI is outdated and doesn't reflect the real font used on OOO2 user interface. If this is the case please forward this problem to the document maintainer.
