Or is the fon replacement wrong? Normally, OpenSymbol is taken to replace StarSymbol in OpenOffice. When activationg a bullet and then opening the Numbering dialog (options page) and clicking the "character" button to open access the "special character" dialog, a font different than OpenSymbol is used (on my SUSE 10.1 it's Albany AMT, on Windows it's Tahoma). Please have a look; from a QA's view I cannot see if this is problem is in the dialog or the replacement. Card "Position" Changes here will bi visible in the heading itself, but nowhere else, not in an OOo table of contents and not in a ToC in a PDF document exported from OOo 2. Card "Options" Blanks in "After" will always be visible: - in the heading itself - in OOo ToC - Bookmarks of PDF export documents So this can be a workaround for norbert2's problem. It really can be discussed whether this behaviour is optimum, but I can's see a real bug. I see no "Must" why all formatting information should be available for functions created by the PDF viewer. If you use the navigator you can easily jump to any heading you like. There's no need for additional index marks. But if you really like them, you can create the TOC from the outline only (see insert index/table dialog). Heading usually don't have indenting. If your document has indents they are either set in the styles (change them in the stylist) or set at the outline numbering (change them in tools/outline numbering) I'm sure issue 67550 has been closed at the right time ;-) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. In a Table of Contents itself, indented entries look good and indenting is useful here. But in headings, indenting may look silly unless the following text is indented the same way. (I'm hoping here I made a mistake with anon CVS checkout). Firstly this doesn't fix the issue (RGB for Bold, Italic, etc. is still 38,43,58). I actually mentioned this in Issue 60352. Secondly, IMHO I feel the manner in which this integration occured could have been better. Many icons have been updated and should be in a dedicated CWS, with appropriate issues raised. The update as it stands will undo the changes from the CWS: gh12, qiq, icons01 and upcoming icons02. Many of the changes from 'iTool' (still no idea what this is!) have been covered by individual issues I have raised. This all makes it very hard for external contributors. Again sorry in advance if I've got things wrong- I hope I have. Otherwise, we should work together to just integrate the fix for this issue, and raise other issues as appropriate (I'm happy to volunteer!). (Table Of Contents (TOCs) also have a missing space between numbering and heading. But this can be changed within the TOC-settings.) But for the PDF bookmarks I can't find a similar option. I'm not sure if a fix space or a user definable character as separator (which could be a space by default) should be implemented. But the current behavior (missing space) is unacceptable. This really downgrades the otherwise great PDF export of SO/OOo. (Found on SO8 Product Update 3 rev. 2) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. None of the images can be previewed or printed when the .odf file is opened. Doing the same thing in 2.0.2 works perfectly. Note that having the .sxw file open read-only in openoffice 2.0.3 looks fine, the problem occurs when the file is saved to odt format. Setting OpenOffice as the associated application does work for multiple file types in SOME cases (documents and spreadsheets, for example), but it should work for ALL supported file types (image files, for example). (2) Trying to use OPEN WITH (right click file, select Open With | Choose Program | Browse) to open an image file with DRAWING fails. The app loads, and never appears. The use of extrenal style sheets would make it possible to edit the style sheet and have the changes cascade to all sheets based on it, no matter how old or how many, next time they were opened. This would be invaluable when corporate layout rules changed, logos were updated etc. It would allow documents designed for one size paper to be rapidly adapted to another. An ESS would be like a CSS for a web page, like a template that could be modified retrospectively. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. This is incorrect. One possible default could be the default font for Bullets in the Styles and Formatting:Character Styles window, but this is StarSymbol which does not exist on my system. Even when the Bullets default font is changed in the Styles and Formatting:Character Styles window, the default font for bullets in the Bullets and Numbering dialog is still the GNOME application font. I believe that the only reasonable choice for the default font for bullets should be the font of the Default paragraph. (Of course, if the user changes the font in Styles and Formatting:Character Styles and saves it in a template and makes this template the default template, then that font should be the default font for bullets.) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To reproduce: - Create a calc document with some content, so that it has more than one page for printing - put a note somwhere on the second page - export to pdf, export page 2 only, enable "Export Notes" -> the note will not be exported This works fine, if all pages are exported. I filed the issue for calc, as this problem does not occure in Writer. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The reason is that some toolbars have been created inside the frame of the embedded object before it was told to place its toolbars at the border of the outer frame. I changed the code so that the embedded object won't be able to create any toolbars except it is connected to a window and I made sure that it never gets connected to any window except the outer frames window so that should fix the problem - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Preparation 1. Create an empty slide. 2. Choose a layout "Title, Text." 3. Enter a hyperlink whose text includes Asian characters. 4. Copy the hyperlink. * You can use a text box instead of the layout "Title, Text." This phenomenon seems to occur regardless of a type of text. From Impress to Impress 5. Paste the copied heyperlink. You would face a garbage text whose length was double or triple of its original one. Tha facter seems to be related to what encoding is used on the platform. E.g. Code page 932 on Windows: doubled LANG=ja (aka ja_JP.eucJP): doubled LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8: tripled From Impress to Calc 6. Paste it on a cell. You would face the same, bad appearance, but in the size of 10 point. 7. Double click a cell to enter to edit mode. 8. Paste it into the cell. You would face the same, bad appearance, but in the size of 6 point. From Impress to Writer 9. Paste the copied heyperlink. 10. You would see the correct, plain Asian text. It is no longer a hyperlink, just a plain text. From Writer to Impress Not such a problem can be observed. However, the size of text becomes 6 points regardless of the size of original text. From Calc to Impress Not such a problem can be observed. This phenomenon can be seen among Windows, linux, and Solaris. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
