The it's ispell and ispells unmunch. I'd prefer not shipping ispell, too, but there are systems out there not having ispell installed or even available (Windows).. I feared this wouldn't be accepted into the tree at all if ispell was a external build req. OTOH, we can just do it like m--enable-build-mozilla which also needs external things. For hunspell, the current tree doesn't have the hunspell binary, that's why this is 3.0 after all, because no Windows person took care about cws hunspellexternal for Windows, and that's the cws also delivering the hunspell binary now. I could see it once on my machine, but may be I didn't wait long enough. The wizards use Java and Java must be started and initialized first in OpenOffice.org. The startup can sometimes last a little bit longer and people tend to think that OpenOffice.org freezed. I checked OOH680m3 and m4 under Windows and Linux. I also checked SRC680m238 on Linux 32-Bit (no 64-bit version available) and the Letter wizards opened every time. Using different Java versions (1.4.2-1.6.0) made no difference. Sometimes it needed about 10 seconds, but most of the time about 3 seconds. If someone can provide a scenario where I can reproduce it you can open it again. Steps to reproduce behavior: 1. Create new folder in Windows Explorer and switch to it. 2. Create a new OpenDocument Text file and open it. (in Explorer, right click empty space, New...) 3. Click Export Directly to PDF button on the main toolbar. Observe File name field is blank, therefore cannot save until a filename is typed in. 4. Close Export dialog. 5. Create a new file in current directory with a .pdf extension. 6. Switch back to Writer, click Export Directly to PDF. Observe File name field contains a default value of your document's name. 7. Close Export dialog. 8. Delete dummy PDF file from step 5. 9. Repeat step 6, notice result is the same as step 3. I use Foxit Reader 2.1 build 2023 for PDF viewing.
