Save this file as a Word 97/2000/XP file then attempt to load it into MS Word 2003 (11.8237.8221) SP3 (French version used). Word shows the page and immediately runs wild in an infinite loop, consuming CPU at 100%. Word would not respond anymore. Obviously, the root cause bug is within Word. But maybe there is a way to format the generated Word document in such a way that Word would not behave this bad. I do not have other versions of Word to test this. The spreadsheet within the ODT is the culprit. Delete it and Word behaves properly. Saving the file under MS Windows or Linux have the same results. I specified his “Locale setting” to “Farsi” language and thus I solved this problem. After this problem I had an idea. I think the best way to solve this issue is to save locale settings into the document and load user-specific settings with the document. Although there is same setting in OOo options (in Load/Save section) but it just save general settings. Maybe you will say that if we save settings as I said, the saved document will be bloated. The install should check for newer versions of the fonts before copying them. Especially when row height is large and screen contain only 1-2 rows. 3 lines per wheel per notch - this settings in Control panel/mouse/wheel But this is comfortable for LINES OF TEXT, but not for ROWS WITH MANY LINES OF TEXT! I suppose to take into account the row's text line count when scrolling by mouse wheel and move up to 3 lines of text nor 3 any rows. for example, if row's line counts that is on the top of the screen is 1,1,1 etc we need to scroll for 3 rows. But when there are 2,2,2,2 - we need to scroll 2 lines for first row and 1 line from second. In case we can't stay in half of row, really we scrolled for 2 rows that is 4 lines of text. It's ok. When there are rows with 3 lines - we scroll just for one row. When there are row with 10 lines of text we must scroll them for 3 lines, but can't stay in half of row and scroll them fully - result is move by one row. In case of long wheel rotating with many notch without a break we can handle each notch as described, and i think it will be felt OK. P.S. This is done now. The relative size of the texture depends on the same settings as in 2D: The texture's logical sie and the object size. Problem is more that the object sizes in 2D and 3D are different, thus the textures will be mapped different. If the bject sizes were the same, the mapping would be the same, too. In 3D a third factor will apply: The texture mapping which is given in another coordinate system (normally called u, v). This is by default mapped to (0,0 .. 1,1) on the 3d object. It is possible to use this texture coordinate mapping to achieve the same mapping with different object sizes in 2D and 3D, but this will not be part of this task.
