Sometimes when I add text to an existing text box, the slide currently being edited gets duplicated. Where I previously stated that it is correct behavior I should have stated that it I believe it to be an unimplemented feature. I suspect that such a feature would require some special rules when it comes to updating of references in formulas. Somewhere it was apparently decided to disable the feature, but I simply see no reason why it should be disabled when special pasting cut cells on a different sheet. Then reopening the file does not work, because the Calc window did not appear. I examined the process and task manager and saw, that soffice.bin and soffice.exe still runs (each process with two instances). Then I found out that the first instance did not exit clean, because of the copy/cut and paste action. This bug is reproducable all of the time. It seems to me, that it has something to do with the clip board. Other changes on the same document (deletion of the same selection) does not have the expected effect - ooo exits clean and no process instance appears in the task manager. This solution would maintain the functionality that the devs seem to love so much and make it far easier and less annoying to fix the problem for us users. In OO Text and Calc (and presumably all of the rest) selecting Insert Special Character... and then clicking any character and then selecting OK will cause my machine to crash every single time. Completely repeatable. This was true in OO 3.1.1 and is still true in OO 3.2.0. I can work around this problem by using the Mac's built-in Character Viewer to paste the needed character into place, but attempting to use the OO Insert Special Character function will crash the application every time.
