Okay friends, We agree Amit is talented. But now a days we are over-hyped and promote him thru our group. For an extend it is okay, we can share and appreciate other good works too. Check out the last few messages, most of them are the messages about his(Amit) work. Thats not acceptable! Before we had the same criteria with Harris Jayaraj. All of a sudden, everyone seems to think they've turned into moderators of the group. If Gopal S himself thinks that these posts are acceptable in ARR's yahoo group, why should you and Taimur make a fuss about this whole thing? In any event, I don't think anyone was comparing Amit with ARR nor did anyone here seem to idolise Amit. It's always good to appreciate good music and it's even better when you share them with your friends. That's the whole point of talking about Aisha's music here. If there is something worthy of sharing and appreciating, I don't see why we can't do it here. After all, it is good music. Amit has been doing great work and I disagree that he is over hyped. i don't think people who post this are trying to promote him through the forum. They are merely appreciating good music. But hey, that's just my opinion, if the moderators don't like to talk about others' music we will just stick to the rules and regulations. But there has never been such a rule in this group. We always have been open to good music. And, good music is the reason why we are here. If there is such an unwritten rule not to discuss about other musicians to this length, then we should never post news about other musicians praising AR Rahman either. Don't you think ? I for one welcome all these mails about other musicians and bands as it helps me find great songs that are of my taste. We all agree that AR is the best in the industry, and if has reached AR's heights in his initial years, it undoubtedly has to be Amit Trivedi. Alright guys, had to write this. Thanks to Taimur and rest of the gang here, I went and heard the song Theekuruvil. I had missed this album somehow and heard it now for the first time. Absolutely sweet song, what else can one say. Rocking ! And on infinite loop as of now. One more great reason to be part of this group. I retrieved a gem of a song. Now on to the rest of the album.
