[arr] Song by Rahman last miunte inclusion in Raavana

2010-04-27 Thread tr2az
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/music/Rahmans-midnight-melody/articleshow/5858630.cms

A source from the unit reveals, "The song that Rahman performed live was an
absolutely last minute inclusion. Rahman and Mani share a special bond that
goes beyond their professional association. Rahman has given music for all of
Mani's films and even sung in a couple like Dil Se and Guru. Mani was very keen
to have Rahman sing in Raavan." Which he did, eventually.

But the song itself hadn't been set to music. So Rahman burnt the midnight oil
to give Mani a musical surprise. The night before the launch, Rahman closeted
himself in his Mumbai studio and worked through the night to compose the song.
In the wee hours, he recorded it in his voice.

The source adds that the final CD of the track did not contain the song, and
the entire team of Raavan, including director Mani Ratnam, heard it for the
first time at the launch. The song may be included at a later stage.

[arr] I miss those life-changing lyrics !!!

2009-04-15 Thread tr2az

just continuing my conversation with may be my self,

some times i feel "I miss those life-changing lyrics" espcially the
combination of AR Rahman Sahab with Javed Akhtar sabab, the lyrics that would
hit you fresh like the first rain of monsson or would feel bullets in bhagat
singh, or the victory of Lagaan, or dance to oolala la, i emans its my personal
likeing to lyrics of Javed Akhtar as his poetry goes soo depth of heart, yet so
has space to breath and feel the emotions swiming int, ye jo desh hai tera,
sawaesh desh hai tera.

AR rahmans compositions take a very beautiful shapre with a heart stiring
emotions, i could smell Indian soil (i heart longing to come back to india)
sitting here in Dubai every time i hear that song from Sawdesh.
i hope AR Rahman sahab do couple of more work with JA sooner then later..

--- here i would like to say that, other lyricist are good too, the words are
rhyming, the body is moving, beats are grooving, yet my soul does not move, it
watch, hears it, like the circus orchestra..

 - all my opinion, one can comment back,

have a nice day

[arr] just a Q. whats beyond Oscars and Next

2009-04-15 Thread tr2az
Goodmorning,
sallams

Just had a thought, for evey actor-actress, or artist in any film or music
Industry highest recognition was supposed to be OSCARS, now that AR Rahman
Sahab, won not just 1 but 2 what is next, i mean AR Rahman sahab himself set
standards and continously break to set new once with evey new scores.

we raise our expectation and that too get higher and higher, i mean what the
limit of our satisfacction. what is beyond the best sound we heard and best
composition etc.

personally i feel AR rahman sould atleast once in 4 years take break from
filmy industry and cut down his personal album with sound tracks and soul
stiring composition away from Rock, blues and jazz. some thig in line of Vande
matram, though the curent album with Nokia is good. after quite long time thats
is.

but still i ask whats the next beat of sound..

byw i may be wrong but the shivamani's albums (Mahaleela (2008))most
composition i am hearing is some where, somewhow derivatives of the inputs he
used to give in AR Rahman's background scores of soungs.. it can be called as
'Inspired' by Rahman , there is likes of Taal- beat of passion, then warriors
in the chinese music etc. but then the freedom of beats that Shivamani get
from AR Rahman sahab is nothing like he get in any others composition.

but then again i may be wrong and if so i apologize in advance.

any way whats next ...

[arr] Jiya se Jiya & SDM and others

2009-01-27 Thread tr2az
Hi!,2 all

I am silent observer this Rahmanic clan but sometimes give out comments

here i would say i am Allhumdullah happy to have heard Jiya se Jiya,
a single from Rahman sahab after looong time nad its the best in
recent time, the beats and grove the lyrics and the atmosphere it
create is pure Magic, (subhnallah)
any way i would be glad to hear an out to out complete English
version as i am working in MNC in Dubai and peple here are mix east
and west mostly Englishad and German, so they get soo overwelmend by
this new Era in Indian music by Rahman sahab,
best example is SDM and for we Indian music its not like crossing
broder or easing line between east and in my opinion there is not
disctingtion or borders in music it just the way Rahman sahab Blends
the east and west. into colorful sound. waht even his worst critic
appreciate and to their worst fear even if their mind is agianst or
bias to Rahmanic sound their body move and groves to every note of his
music.
much can be said and written, and it should be...
any way i am looking forward to Raising Indian Slogon on the Oscar
nite with JAi Ho!!!

Jai Hind.

[arr] Ar rahman and new age music from ancient sounds.

2008-09-29 Thread tr2az
hi! to All

firstly in advenace Eid mubarak to Rahamn Sahab and all

hope you alla re doing fine and good,

as i've been silent observerin group. buttime to time do write..
thanks for all appreciation and forgiveness for any mistakes,

i have notices Rahman sahab's one side of music has deep link to
New age music genre and has a strong root foundation in desi and
Vdesi (east-west)music. we all know his way of composition just from
first hear, we all get charged (supercharged) from his vocal inputs
and songs, for he is one such person form all 1.2 Billion pepople of
india who thinks on as single india when he sang Vande Matram, and
many other tracks we heard.
for long i am waiting to hear his just sound track/ or solo
albums, there had been romours of he comming out with them but never
appeared, sometime i feel its we who never give him time for himself
and apart from Pleasing God, he is concern about people who look
upto him, and thus notfindin time for his own self.
i think we all have to come together to ask himd to comeout with
own very style album for himslef and us who are constantly searching
for new age music from ancient sounds.
i hope Rahman sahab reads and for the peace of myself and all those
thirsty of preace within and himslef he does come up with new solo
albums.

Eid Mubarak

have nice time
with best regards

Just Observation from Qawalli point of view

( just felt the instruments were bit heavy in Qawalli where vocals
should have weighted down .. Just a ovservation as when compare
qqwallis of Ustas Fatehs Ali and Sabro Bros & others...

but i must appraciate the Hardwork put in by Rahman sahab, in to

do not limit Rahman sahab from his 'Work' he loves doing, so, we are
not here to dictate what he does or does not, we are here to listen
to him, so if he feels singing for some1 else is not bad then who
are we to stop him, and his creativity inputs.. look on the brighter
side he will be setting trend in tis field too..

KK: I never thought of that, but I want to sing with AR Rahman. He
may have shortcomings in his music levels but he sings from the
heart. I like such people who get immersed in their singing.

this guy just sang few songs and started to compare himself to
