Hi Suresh,

Thanks for your kind response.
Are you highlighting the SYS:System Settings form but it will contain only
DMT file path and not server details.

Please navigate to the exact location where you want to cross check the
server name.

Early response will be highly appreciated.

FTS is working fine as required for the old articles but not working for
the newly created articles.
And also one thing noticed that the articles which are created yesterday
are now searchable.

But still the Articles which are created today are not searchable as of now.

Hi Team,

Is there any config. in RKM:KnowledgeArticleManager form so that we can
access the KA's irrespective of the KA status.
Or any config some where else so that i can restrict the KA search in
accordance to the status of KA.

Currently i can search only published KA and the KA is global one with
required visibility access settings.
Please help out to how can i access all the KA irrespective of its status.

Early response will be highly appreciated.

Hi Abhi,

Depending on the third-party platform, you can do most of this using ITSM
Bridge which uses web services for integration with other platforms. The
rules for contact creation can be defined within the tool.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks for your kind response.
I have already tried with the simple text file creation and it worked
perfectly.

But it's still fails when I am trying out the required scenario with the
help of AL or filter.

Also via putty the Linux box as well as script is accessible from windows
Remedy server.

Can you please provide detail as in our scenario , it can be the case that
fname ,lname ,email id can be duplicated as per business requirements.

So we need the solution to avoid the error and end user can easily raise
request via service request.

Yes normal TXT files creation is working fine and u can see in my earlier

Please suggest on how to achieve the filter run process part with the help

Hi,

So does this script run as expected when you run it manually?

You have to configure sshd on the unix box to allow remote calls, and you
need to set it up with public-key authentication without a passphrase. Or
something like that... There are ample instructions on the internet for
this.

Re: How to call a .sh script located in remote unix box from the remedy server 8.1 on windows using the FILTER Run Process command?

2017-10-16 Thread Abhi$hek
Hi Rajesh,

I will reiterate the required scenario:-

On change of status on a form , we need to call the script.
The connectivity is fine n also while performing the same via AL it's
working fine.
But the requirement is to perform it via filter only as no manual
intervention required.

So I have already posted the complete filter run process command which I am
trying but it's failing.

Please suggest on how to achieve it.

Cheers,
AA

Hi Abishek,

To echo an earlier commenter, I'd try removing the double-quotes from
around $Request ID$ because when ARServer writes the output it will
substitute a ticket number for the token ($Request ID$), and ticket numbers
usually do not contain spaces, so no double-quotes are normally required.

Also, turn on filter logging to see the exact command being generated --
perhaps this will shed light on the problem.

Also, append " 1> output.msg 2>&1" to the command to redirect std out and
err out to a text file and inspect the contents of the resulting text file
(see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/110930/redirecting-
error-messages-from-command-prompt-stderr-stdout) to see if any clue is
given.

Try updating the run process command to the following and then see if any
helpful text is in the resulting close_tt-out.txt file:

   cmd /c C:\Users\AnandAb\Desktop\close_tt.bat "$Request ID$" 1>
C:\Users\AnandAb\Desktop\close_tt-out.txt 2>&1

PFB the filter log but its not highlighting any glitch just showing the
full command in the RUN PROCESS.

Tue Oct 17 2017 13:07:11.3430 */ Checking "Temip_TT_Filter_CaseClose_Test"

   0: Process

 cmd /c

"020"

   /* Tue Oct 17 2017 13:07:11.3430 */ End
of filter processing (phase 3) on TeMIP_TroubleTicket_Case – 020

RUN PROCESS COMMAND - cmd /c C:\Users\AnandAb\Desktop\close_tt.bat
"$Request ID$"

And it will trigger on change of the status to "Closed" on a form.

Thanks for your kind response & not able to apply the last suggested logic
bcoz our Remedy email engine is causing loads of latency.

So do you foresee any other option to achieve it without touching the email
engine.

Early response will be highly appreciated.

Re: How calculate the Aging of an Incident & show it in overview console?

2018-02-05 Thread Abhi$hek
Thanks JD for your kind response.

Please could you elaborate on your first approach to achieve it via AL.

Escalation can be created for it but suppose my escalation run every mid
night then the incidents raised after mid night will be missed during
calculation

Also the motive of business is too just prioritize the aged incidents first
of all by catching them in the overview console table only so that
proactively it can be managed.

As the requirement is to show the Incident Aging in overview console
 table
only so i doubt DB View will not suffice it. Also please could you
 elaborate
it more as what will be the trigger point(Execute on condition) for the
Custom field calculation on the DB view.

Please provide detail for your DB view approach.

But Misi i have created some post from the arslist page as well as

But just from few weeks i am unable to do that.
Searching in the archives is tedious but searching in the console itself is

Please could you assist in getting to that arslist landing page.

2018-07-17 Thread Abhi$hek
Thanks for your kind response.

I m exploring other options as well like LDAP authentication for RSSO but
having some queries:-
1. Using the LDAP authentication can we directly navigate to the ITSM home
page or we have to provide the credentials to RSSO login page?
2. If we want to navigate directly to ITSM. Is it possible?

Early response will be highly appreciated.
