1) As per the user requirement we can delete the survey which is configured from the following forms but we should be carefull while deleting the contant it will not effect any anonther surey configured. SRM:ConfigSurveyQuestions 2) SRM:ConfigSurveyQuestions_DisplayProp From here you can delete the survey. And coming to second question,When you click on the view buttom we will see 4 questions and in manage question it will not reflect but from manage questions we can arrange the questions in sequence. Hi Brad, To achieve this functionality we need to follow below steps: 1. We can achieve this using AIF forms in SRM , which contains design of Login form as you required. 2. We need to create manual workflows for this. 3. On AIF form we need to take all these login form fields , and one 'forget password button'. 4. On click of this button , we can open another window/ form where we can take answers of questions from user who have forgot the password. 5. we can ask him answers or else registered email id, if registered email id is correct then we can send automatically generated password to him on his registered email id. 6.Now he can login with dummy password provided on his registered email id and then reset it again. Hi Richard, Looking towards issue description and screenshot given by user, I have faced this issue before, It seems there is no error in installation. But the installation is not progressing. Hi James, I have gone through the all OOTB events in SYS:Notification Messages , However I failed to find OOTB functionality to achieve the same. Due to this we need to do customization. I have further checked the ways to send notification to user when a work log entry is made. I found there are two ways to achieve the same. 1. Writing Filter on Submit event of forms namely “HPD:Work Log” and ”CHG:WorkLog” and with a qualification matching the incident ID (HPD:HelpDesk) and “Incident Number”(Field on HPD:Worklog). For Example “'Incident Number'="INC0004"”(This qualification is hard coded). In this Filter we can use the action “Notify” and Mechanism as “Email”. In “To” field fetch the customers Email ID from People Profile of user. 2. If we need to achieve this through SYS:Notification Messages form then we need to enter new value say “Worklog Updated/New Worklog Entry” in the Selection field namely “Notification Event” on “NTE:SYS-Define NT Events” form by using Developer Studio. Likewise then create the related entry on the “NTE:SYS-Define NT Events” form and Enable for to create a mapping between the module and new event. Create a entry in SYS:Notification Messages form and update related Workflows in the Notification engine. Hope one of these approach is the expected and correct. Let me know whether you want something like below: You want to give list of printers to new employees when he will try to create request using SRD, where he can see list of printers in selection list/ in menu format. Once he selects the printer and submit request, automatically his machine should get connected/mapped to his machine. something like we access printer using run command. Not able to reopen Service request with Read License from Request Entry
Hello team, Greetings for the day! I am wondering why I am not able to reopen the Service Request which is in "Completed" status. It throws error "You do not have permission to move to the status of "In Progress".Enter a valid Status in the Status field. (ARERR 1291115)" I have 'Read' license assigned to my profile. Latency Observed while selecting Prod Categorization Tier 1 in INC form
Hello Team, Greetings! I am working on Multi-tenant environment with version 8.1.SP02 I am experiencing delay in populating the menu Prodcat Tier1 in Incident under Categorization tab. I checked with Admin and non Admin users and I found issue with only one Company. All users from that Company are affected and experiencing delay of min 20 seconds to popup the prodcat tier1 values in incident form while raising new incident. I checked for logs and found the difference of query for working and non-working users and found that for non working user query is bigger than working user. This issue is for only one Company users. Though user is Admin user , he is experiencing latency issue to populate the Prodcat tier1 menu. Guys , any one has any soluton or suggestion to get ride of this issue. Actions in SRD did not work/trigger properly
Hello Team, Greetings! I am facing intermittent issue while submitting SR. Some of the actions configured under 'Action' tab of question answer mapping of SRD are not executing properly. The action defined are not in sequential manner. Other SRs also have action and those are executing properly. Difference is this SRD has 12 actions defined. But it is intermittent case. Sometime all actions will get triggered while some time doesn't for same user. There is no such pattern of issue occurrence. I will like to know from you guys. Is there any defect related to such cases? But its get executed successfully sometime . Guys guide me t proceed further. How to Use EXTERNAL Keyword in Workflow for Table & Set Field
Hello Team, Hope you guys are rocking! Now a days I am working on one of development requirement where i need to use EXTERNAL Keyword. I tried using it but not its not giving me expected output. May be i am not using EXTERNAL keyword correctly. I have requirement where i need to check if query field on form A can be used to compare field values present on Form B. I have doubts regarding EXTERNAL Keyword: 1. Can we use EXTERNAL Keyword in setfield IF Qualification just to compare transanctional values of fields on current for with db values of another form? 2.If we can use EXTERNAL Keyword in setfield IF Qualification, then where should i use, in active link or filter? What is best practice? 3. archgid utility doesn't reflect new ids in workflow
Hello Team, Greetings! Hope you guys are doing great! I was just changing few custom field ids to bmc recommended ids using utility/command "archgid" and found below issues: 1. AR Server become very slow to respond though i was changing id for single field. 2. New field is wasn't reflected into Filter(any other workflows) PFA snapshot This is not first time i faced these issues, I was doing same on 2 different environments and faced same both times. I have used below command, please let me know if I am missing something. archgid -c 2 -s form name -f field name -i newfieldID -u userID -p password -x servername -t port Could someone let me know why its not changing new ids into workflows.
