Roger, I this is not a technical solution but you could always ask them what color the login is when they bring it up. That should be able to tell you what version at least between 6 and 7. I think it is based on the actual User.exe (It is the same info you see when you look at the properties of the user.exe file) What it sounds like is they installed the 7.1 client in a different location and are still running the 6.3.
