I've played the update, and saving your screenreader config in options doesn't write to any file or registry setting, so when you reopen the game there is no screenreader mode set.

@livrobo it's a little passageway in the very lower right corner. There are several such passageways along the right wall going down but you want to make sure you take the bottommost one as that leads directly to the stairs.

Try the CEV or CEB, one of those has footnotes I know for sure. When I have a braille display I read the Bible with it, and when I don't I read it with the most natural speech I have. Okay well usually with the most fluid and realistic voice I have, which either comes out to be Eloquence or MS speech platform.

What I do is walk around the save point and keep pressing enter since there's no indication on where it is so you just have to experiment.SPOILERS!On the third floor of the tower of judgement, I can't seem to find the opening in the wall that's apparently on the south side near the smashing things. I can certainly find the decoy maze to the north of them though...

Hi all. I do not agree with anyone of you people who think this game should be payed for. I mean, my sound never worked on there and no one helped, then i got banned, so i'm probably not going to play again, well i could play on my lap top, but i'd have to run windows. Lets get to the point. Aprone can say that hackers are going on his server, but i think the real reason its payed for is because he wasn't getting any donations to run the server, so he thought he could use our money to do that. I do not think swamp should be payed for, even thought i'm a troller and probably wouldn't be aloud to play anyway. That's what i have to say.

Hello all,I have now released a new version of the game which allows the screen reader to be used instead of SAPI, as well as fixes the odd bug or two.Screen reader support is only in an experimental phaze, so take that as it is.It will at least work for the most part.Menu intros will sometimes be skipped with screen readers, some more than others it appears.

Hi mtg. I have a question. Could you make this game multiplayer? I have some ideas about what players could do in a multiplayer game if you added it in the next update. The jukebox can be unlocked in stage 25dash2.There's a door in the middle of the stage so, 500. The stage is 1000 steps long. Make sure you buy the UFO catcher weapon on the shop of stage 23.When you go through the door, just fly to the other side of that stage using the UFO catcher, and grab the key. Then fly back to the door, and finish the stage like normal.HTH.

I'm really having problems here. this is extremely annoying. I just can't catch any of cecil's abilities, not even demon's gift. It's almost as if the timing is different for each attempt. I find I can hit alt at the right time when viewing the scroll not that it does much, but when I'm in combat it seems to take longer. I've counted even the intervals, and in combat it takes a few seconds extra, though this could just be a different time perception since after all it is a more difficult section.

Thanks Roro, lasering was the key. I managed to buying laser bateries in the shop, many lives as a security measure, and then I didn't used the laser until I reached the boss, which allowed me to have the laser batery very charged and kill him relatively easy.I also completed the My Music level, which rarely seemed to be easier than My Downloads, when being My Downloads the first it's suposed it would be easier.

So I totally just beat the game haha.and simon was 71.It took foreeeverI had to step away several times because I was getting too jittery near the end lol.spoilersend comments etc.I felt the ending was a little thin, It would've been nice to have a point where you had to make a mad dash to the escape pods or something, also.this is a pretty big duzy I think you guys passed up, but you forgot about ros's mother lol. @Sneak, what level is Simon?If he's below 70 he won't be a suitable candidate for defeating the boss solo. If he's up to level 70 then just defend until you have a chance to use final oblivion (and be careful not to be poisoned).If he's not that strong then you'll need to use more of your characters.@Stewie, I agree Cecil's attacks are a tad annoying. I know demon's gift and infinite pain but that's it.

I'm having problems with cecil's techniques, particularly lunar cannon. The techniques themselves aren't that complicated, I just find myself not able to keep track of the time between the larger sections. I think a metronome would eliminate this problem, and make the players finding the beeps more difficult have better pacing. That would have a downside of making some of the techniques easier, but it might make some of the easier techniques harder since they don't really adhere to a strict rhythm.

Questions about Fleksy for Android

Hi.So, I decided to try Fleksy for Android.After installing it, I can't really figure out how to use it.Talkback says edit box but I'm not sure how to access the keyboard.Is Fleksy just not accessible on Android?Also, why is Fleksy a trial? It's free on iOS so why do they charge for it on Android?Any help would be appreciated as I think this is a cool keyboard.However, if I really am forced to buy it, I won't simply because I don't think it's fair that it's free on iOS and it isn't on Android.Besides, I already have a bluetooth keyboard.So yeah, what's up with Fleksy for Android?

@Stewie which techniques in particular are you referring to? There are some that I didn't feel were worth mastering because they were only slightly more powerful than the previous and much more difficult. Some of the more difficult ones are so hard because they're OP. If you can cast Simon's final technique called Final Oblivian or Kelly's death dimention you'll pretty much tear the game to pieces.@Sneak, what are your levels?SPOILER!If you are strong enough you might be able to withdraw some characters immediately to eliminate weaker scrolls or the ones you don't remember how to cast. This will allow you to defeat him much quicker since you'll be more likely to get the good ones / ones you know well.You might want to learn some of Shawna's later ones, and if Kelly is strong enough to know Death Dimention or Simon Final Oblivian those will come in extremely handy as well.

Devin... that would depend on which translation of the Bible you are using... as to my knowledge not all translations have footnotes and whatnot. The CEV for example doesn't, and I don't think the NIV does either.Nocturnus, I tend to run a bible through a braille display to read, or worse case scenario use voiceover. I don't have a physical braille Bible for the reasons you mentioned... well, i kinda do. I have a copy of the NRSV from when I was young and when I stopped going to church I kinda leglected it. As a result i don't know where half the volumes are. lol

I'm running into problems with some of the techniques. In particular the techniques that make you wait a second or 2 between beeps. they are incredibly irritating, as after that span of time it's difficult to tell when the next beep will be.My particular thought process is as follows:1: Try technique2: fail3: repeat 1 and 2 (3 or 4 times)4: quit in exasperationIt would be better to have some kind of beep to take up the time, or perhapse some kind of secondary beep that lets you count out the time between, like a metronome.

k, so I never really complained about the other bosses, but this last one is fustrating me.spoilerIt wouldn't be so bad if it weren't a hit or miss situation, either you have to get them perfect or you don't do any damage. I guess I can just defend untill I get one that I like, bbut that would take a while. I think it should be tweaked just a little to where at least getting a decent casting does damage. It's really hard to switch between like 20 plus different patterns and remember them and execute. I'd actually much rather prefer the randomized final shots like with the previous boss.end spoiler

Slightly off topic but still related to bibles: I think it would be rather interesting to get everyone's take on format preference.  How many of you actually have braille bibles, for instance?  I ask because while we have the bible available to us through various methods, somehow reading it with audio or with a screen reader which as far as I'm concerned is still simply audio doesn't seem to give me best results when reading through it.  On the other hand, it's a lot simpler than getting your hands on a braille copy, on top of being easier to manage, as a braille copy can include as many as 19 volumes depending on what version you get and so on.

Well, I wouldn't even know that they had comments or footnotes then... but the nice thing is they're a very responsive team. I emailed them a while back when they had huge voiceover accessibility issues... and they fixed it in the next update. Sometimes they break one form of accessibility for a while, in which case I then switch to biblegateway... until the next version of the youversion app. I'm sure if you emailed them about the comments and footnotes thing they'd take a shot at fixing it.

Well peeps, at long last, after many twists, turns, levels, puzzles, deaths, bullets, missiles, slimes, help from the community twoards the end, and all the other stuff that makes up this game, I finally beat it. And I gotta say Ukio, damn good job, seriously. This was twice as good as either of the games before it, and well, well worth my time. I felt like I was not playing an audiogame, but actually coming close to playing a mainstream console adventure game. If you plan on continuing with this style of games, I strongly encourage you to. NVDA and VIP MUD

NVDA and VIP MUD

It would appear that as of version 2012.3, NVDA has support for VIP MUD somehow integrated.  My question is a simple one: is there anything specific I need to do to get it working?  Obviously NVDA is not presented as an option in the screen reader list, which leaves me wondering if I am supposed to set it to one of the other options for best performance, or leave it at no screen reader.  Thank you for any help you provide in advance.

@hanif, to get past the dark matter wait for the second explosion that plays after you access the security computer. If its too your right don't move. If its to your left keep moving until the sound is stopt and wait for the next one. Only move when the explosions are on the left, not the right. And to activate the jetpack, first travel to the edge of any structural failure. Hold shift and push j. The first structural failure is at 88, so activate your jetpack at position 87.

The grasshoppers don't have the honeydew, the aphids do.  Kill the aphids, sometimes they will be carrying a honeydew.  You'll need two honeydews to give to the shopkeeper, and probably more sunflower seeds.

Pokemon yellow still has some pokemon you can't catch. In a later update I'll be adding the ability to communicate with other players via online connection, as well as other ways to retrieve these "unobtainable" pokemon. Americandad, once I get back from my trip to Baltimore, I'll take a look at your save file (that would be Tuesday!)In other news, Braillemon is being featured at a panel at Bronycon (yep, today) and I'll be talking about it live in front of an audience. Scary, but wish me luck. I'll be sending a link to the video once it's all said and done. Yikes.

would that bepokemon yellow? if so then yes (even though it intentionally uses anime asets, most impressive of which is Pikachu's voice). otherwhise, the closest I can say is the post-game bonus in gold/silver/cristal, which is a remake of the canto rheagin where red/blue/yellow took place.

I've tried my best not to ask for help again here but I really can't figure this out.SPOILERSI'm confused about the dialog on the second floor of the electronics area. The way I understood it is that I was supposed to go to the church. I went there, and to the sanctuary, but no matter how much I look around I can't find a way to progress. I found a person who tells me that I do not worship and that I need to leave or something. Then I started thinking, why can I only play as Gabriel? I then thought I was actually supposed to stay in the electronics area. So I went back, and to the second floor. But when I take the transport pad to the hallway with a teleporter on each side of you and try to go south, it appears to be blocked off with a wall and I can't get into the area that I was previously in. Sorry about the questions
