Re: your favorite heroes Well Ive explained why I dislike superheroes elsewhere so I dont see the need to repeat myself, however as you didnt confine the topic to marval/dc Ill certainly share some of my favourites, though bare in mind they are from less usual sources. I also dont particularly have an order so Ill mention them as I come to them: Mother f/cker from kickass two. Okay, Kickass as a rather dislikable incompetent hero is hilarious enough, and Chris was already useless, but to create a villain who is both extremely useless and actually dangerous is fantastic. He begins by trying out mixed martial arts and gun training, then realizing he is pretty pathetic at villainous powers but he does have lots of money to hier himself an evil army . I love his names for his villain henchmen, the way theyre all rather offensive like calling the dark skinned man black death and the short man the tuma not to mention managing to build a shark tank but end up making the shark sick with the wrong sort of water and trying to create bombs from fertilizer. About the only competent villain thing he does is higher Mother Russia, who is dam scary, (though to be honest if mother russia hadnt been there Hit girl wouldve gone through him like nobodys business). I really like the idea of creating someone who wants to be a villain but isnt that good at it, and yet is still a pretty nasty peace of work.Mr. Jake aka Jake Martinez from the Anime Tiger and Bunny, see Good old wikipedia. On the one hand a next (the TB name for a mutant), who wants to kill all normal humans and have the nexts rule over them is a bit like Magnito from X men, but Jake is just so fantastically nasty about it. In a world where even people w ho throw fireballs can at most set a car on fire (really TB is nice for its lack of ridiculous powers), jake is a real threat with his two abilities, creating forcefields and the ability to monitor peoples thoughts and thus anticipate attacks. hes also just down right nasty, he takes over hero tv an arranges duels with each of the heroes to prove how awsome he (and nexts), are, and yet when Wild tiger hits him by mistake he just gets totally brutal and starts kicking Tiger when hes down. I also cant think of any villain who has their own personal manager/promotor/stylist/general floosy the way Jake has the girl called Cream, the way she adores him and yet at the same time runs his live tv defeats of the heroes is quite sickening. I also like the fact that though jake dies at the end of series one, the plot continues, with the question of whether or not he really did kill Barnabys parents still being a major one, although I was a trifle disappointed at the end of series 2 that the Android Zeoro, while powerful and destructive wasnt half as cool as MR. jake . Wild Tiger from Tiger and bunny. RAther like in Heros rise for the Iphone, Tiger and bunny is based on the idea of heroes as celebrities, that heros exploits are measured on a reality tv show whenever they solve a crime, and that they earn increased ratings, though in the end when its revealed that that Mr. Tetsuya set this up deliberately so that the public would not mistrust nexts is a great idea. Tiger however I like because hes just out to do the right thing, not to win competitions or gain fame. yet, at the same time hes slightly selfish, rather insicure with the fact that hes now in his fourties and feeling hes past it, attempting to keep his hero career from his family yet at the same time causing amazing damage with very lame excuses, (indeed his family see theyre lame). unlike Barnaby whos out for revenge for the death of his parents and has a distinct axe to grind, Tiger is just a rather flawed guy trying to do the right thing because its right, and not always succeeding. Red Saviour from The Secret World Chronicle, find The entire podcast here Red Saviour is one of the most uniquely designed hero characters you could find. A hero of soviet russia who now firmly believes in the ideals of totalitarian comunism in a rather blind and streight forward way that gets her into severe trouble on many occasions, (her attempt to setup socialist lectures in Atlanta is rather amusing). Yet at the same time shes a highly affective leader of the cccp Russian super team, and amazingly charismatic, indeed during the attack by Thulian troopers on red square in Mosco she coordinates a su ccessful resistance and when she finds that the thulian troopers armour is affected by heat gets the general populus to help beat them back. Youve also gotta love someone who attempts to discuss trade union politics and the construction of her new American HQ during a street brawl in Atlanta, smacking people out while talking about stair cases. I find Red Saviour interesting as well sinse she has a slightly different morality to most people. Recipes and Ideas Thread Well currently Im at my parents so my mum and dad are rather insistant on cooking, though being as this means lots of roasts and other nice things I dont mind, we had a bief burgenion last week, and sinse my mum has a friend who breeds free range birds for hunts that means some awsome roasts, sinse there is a massive difference with a roast chicken thats been running around the guarden as opposed to a chicken that has just been cloned in a battery farm, let alone a duck or a pheasant, we even had goose for Christmas dinner, (my dad drained off the fat and used a teaspoon full on the roast potatoes which was awsome!). My mum unfortunately doesnt do well with Chilly sinse her opinion of what is spicy is rather ifferent to everyone elses, so it always works out like a rather interesting flavoured stew when my mum makes it. I however do do an awsome chilly in my flat using my slow cooker (sometimes called a crock pot), for about 6 hours, with some squeezed lime, some grated in dark chocolate (%100 coco is best but a ^%80 will do), a friend of mine also works for a company who make herbal extracts for restaurants, and has some awsome chilly extract, though I unfortunately need some way of measuring it. I totally agree with you about a thick chilly, particularly because what I rather like to do with it is buy some floured tortilla pancakes, scoop it into the middle and roll the things up, perhaps pour some sour cream on the top, which is awsome! I admit Im a slightly lazy cook, mostly because I only have me to cook for sinse if Im cooking for myself the most Ill do is chuck things in my slow cooker or in the oven, as usually there are things Id rather be doing than sitting and doing lots of complex preparations, plus I confess with the exception of pasta Im not a massive fan of pans on the hobb, though I have recently bought a wok so will be trying out some stir fries, the wok is rather easier given the size of the thing, plus of course, itll come in handy in the zombocalypse :. Re: talking video game consoles Its a nice thought. For every console I am aware of, save perhaps with jailbroken hardware and almost certainly not even then, it is technologically impossible. At least without the help of whoever manufactures the console in the first place. Presuming jailbroken hardware, doing this is probably about 10 times more complex than the desktop screen reader because literally the entire process is assembly hacking. Re: An early christmas present It appears that the server is actually online now, but the website is not.The game tells me to get the new version of the software off of the website, but Im unable to do that since the site appears to be down.Hopefully this will be fixed soon so I can play. I unfortunately didnt get to play more than a few minutes before it went down.I do have one question, though. What about character passwords? When I tried to play it on Dec 24 or around that time, it didnt ask me for a password when I logged in. It simply seemed to create the account and when I logged in afterwards, it just seemed to accept the username without any problems whatsoever. So, if thats still the case, whats to prevent someone else from logging in?I know that you mentioned something about implementing passwords, but if thats the case, whats to prevent someone from taking over another character and securing it with a password?There are a lo t of posts in this thread, so I apologize if I have some incorrect information. Re: Schools for the blind, training centers, and how they perform. yes, actually.First, the fact that this has harmed you but left you able to recognize it and say so publicly while still in the situation is actually kinda rare. In my experience, including myself, you dont realize the harmful parts until later. Its not exactly too late at that point, but its certainly easier if you realize this sooner. To that end, Id say that its most important you dont give up: that would be more harmful than anything, unless you think you can be satisfied with a phone job for the rest of your life.Second, you do seem like you can write. If you are truly good at technology, you might look into technical writing. Someone has to write, edit, review, and proof all those wonderful technical manuals for gadgets and stuff. As a programmer writing technologies for other programmers, I have not deeply looked into this field as either someone needing a technical writer or as someone who would be one; I do not know what challenges it poses to a blind person or even what it pays. Im in the unfortunate position of needing to do my own, as Im the only one who can understand my stuff until the manual actually is there. But it is a real job, and it is a place to start looking given what you say your skills are. Other possible jobs include training blind people (I personally hate this one, as there is a vicious cycle of blind people working to help blind people, and I think we need less of that) or, if you are up for a real challenge, you could see if you have an aptitude for programming (which is kind of a stereotype, though way far below blind people are musicians and not generally among the sighted).You could consider college. If you do so, do your homework. Some colleges provide great accessibility. Others provide literally nothing and are actually just open for an enterprising lawyer and student to say hello together. You would need to make up some of the math you dont have for almost any degree. Your college can help you do this: it usually means a few extra classes, and it would probably be somewhat rough. There are many tangible and intangible benefits to college: on top of all of those for the sighted, it helps overcome the blindness stereotype. It gives you some extra time under which you are usually qualified to receive benefits and services from your states agency for blind people, including training in independent living skills (which are a necessity, a true necessity, no matter how much you hate them). It will make up for your possibly lacking education in math, which is actually kind of important for a lot of things. It can polish whatever skills you already have, save perhaps if theyre already better than everyone else in the class. This is a personal choice, and I no longer believe that college is right for e veryone.More generally, just realizing that youre not in the real world and thinking a lot about what that means. Id not suggest a public school; thats kind of like jumping off a cliff, at least if you havent done it before, and youd spend a lot of tie adjusting. While it is true that schools for the blind seem to have the culture and social awareness of a rock, theyre also very protected and protective of you. Now is the time to evaluate your independent living, social, and mobility skills, to be objective and brutally honest with yourself about this evaluation, and to either ask for help now wherever and if possible or, failing that as a viable option (your post hints that it it is likely to be) doing the research to allow you to get this help as soon as you turn 18. It is harsh and will probably also be one of the hardest things youll do, especially when it comes to swallowing pride and asking, and--again--do your homework as to where youll get the help from because, quite frankly, some places just plane suck.Lastly, one strategy that works for me, though I would say Im at a higher level of functionality and that it may not apply without a foundation that you may or may not have: pretending that Im confident. This sounds kind of weird, Ive never been able to properly explain the state of mind, and perhaps its unique to me. Its basically two things: deciding that it is safe (in the sense of no long-term physical harm) to attempt the activity about which I am unsure, and then pretending that I am sure how to do it. Usually, this ends better than youd expect, and if you keep doing it for the same thing, you suddenly reach a point where you actually arent pretending anymore. Basically, its a way around requiring confidence, and I urge you to not apply the technique stupidly or unsafely--assuming you even und erstand the explanation of it, I mean.I hope this helps some. I am fortunate in that I did not have to go through this kind of thing, but I think I grasp your problem at least a little: a series of problems that seem insurmountable, causing a gravity-like effect on your thoughts that means you

talking video game consoles Hello everyone. I wasnt exactly sure where to post this topic, but I saw the developers section here so I figured why not. If Ive made a mistake, please by all means let me know. Allow me to introduce myself. Im known on here as karate25, and Im a totally blind gamer since the age of 4 years. Im a very avid gamer and love everything about video games. The one drawback to the current video game systems is that they do not speak, and the way theyre built today theyre just as complex as computers. What Id like to see happen is for someone brave out there that thinks they can, tackle this issue of video game consoles not speaking. Im not saying that it should make all games accessible that are made for that particular console since this is up to the individual developers themselves, but at least come up with some sort of piece of hardware equipment that provides speech output, or some sort of downloadable software like a jaws attit ude that provides speech through the television or headphones or which ever output device youre using for sound. At least make it possible for us to set up the console with connecting to the internet like they do today so we can download content and then access our downloaded content. Again, I may be completely off my rocker here and you folks are probably thinking this guys nuts or something, and if so I apologize in advance, but gosh darn it, I just want to play video games like the rest of the world and enjoy them without sighted help. I even got a pair of high end headphones for Christmas for my new PS4 so I could play video games and listen to them easier. Have a wonderful day everyone, and I would love any and all input on this subject. I just want to get a feel for what you folks think. I should also make mention that I cant code my way out of a home security system, but if this ever gets built, you have a very willing and able beta tester for such a product . Its been a little while since Ive watched or taken part in some hero stuff, so I might be a little rusty, I unfortunately do not feel ready to write down a top ten, I really wish I could. However, here are my thoughts on a couple of heroes and villains:Batman:I really like this guy. As Ghost Rider said, hes got a lot of awesome gadgets, but even as a person hes very headstrong and really is aware of his surroundings. The fact that Bruce Wayns parents death triggered this idea in him to help, and he really stuck at it, really makes me admire him. Theres also Alfred, the ever faithful, in a way, sidekick but not as mucha s a sidekick as say someone like Robbin. It is interesting that in the Arkham games, alfred assists Batman via radio on some of his missions.Spider-man: not the best hero but not the worse, he ahs a lot of web powers that he can put to good us e. The trouble is he can sometimes be a little cocky which can get him into some rather awkward situations.In the video game spider-man: friend or foe, he got so annoyed with his computer talking to him that he deactivated the emotions, and while I dont quite remember what happened next, but I think the computer well, sort of reactivated itself and got very angry.The Joker, villain: This is my favorite. Seriously, he can sometimes be darnright hilarious, but so dark. Although, the acid is annoying that he shoots. Also, that laugh. I love it. I think Heath Ledgers Joker was a bit... too dark, I thought Joker was meant to be a prankster not just a psychepath.Lex Luthur: I agree with what Ghost Rider said, in fact I really prefered the alternate Lex Luthur in Injnustice, he sort of became a hero and I really liked seeing that version of him.Once again, thanks ghost rider for creating this topic. They all deal massive amounts of damage to him but he just shrugs it off and stays at 100% no matter what I do. He doesnt even do that much damage to my characters, but his regen seems to be through the roof because he stays at full. I once dealt 1+ damage to him with one of my dragon strike scrolls and he was still at 100%. I was surprised that everyone else managed to defeat him okay, well, at least none of the first 500 posts on this topic indicated that they had trouble with him. Dice dont seem to work against him at all, and the knife only does about 2500 damage with the character that has the most impact, which is Lucy. All my characters are about level 48 to 52. None of them can get him below 100%. Does he just regen that much hp every round, or does he have more than like 30 million hp? If the latter I can just keep beating on him until he dies, but if the former I have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated.end spoilerssome general thoughts about gameplay and party members now:I hate gabe. A lot. The only thing he has going for him is his power 80 dragon strike scroll, but all his stats are mediocre, so he really sucks when it comes to training up because I like mindlessly grinding when running through the random encounter dungeons. On the other hand, Ceicil is a freaking power house, especially with just the boring old demons gift, even though he knows lunar cannon and the other thing. Waiting 3 or 4 seconds for that much power is worth it to me.Shauna is cool. Her spells are really hard to cast though, because the rhythm and wait times are irregular. Especially not a fan of trying to cast giga candella. I did like death in 3 easy steps but I have to re-remember how long between each of the steps every time I restart the game and want to u se that scroll. I never even bothered to learn embodiment of righteousness.Ross has slightly easier dragon strike scrolls than most but is better at grinding in random encounter dungeons. He gets more chances to run experience than the other chars so his level always seems to be slightly higher than the rest of the party. Wish his impact was less gold, but since he is overall quite balanced, I can live with that. And final shot is just cool.Lucy is really cool. Shes a really nice tank, but can deal consistent easy damage because of her high impact. She has 27 impact which means she can deal the equivalent of about a roll of 15 or 16 by Ross. her dragonstrike spells are extremely difficult to cast because of the crazy long wait time before the first beep, and they are about as powerful as the other peoples scrolls, even though the power on them is much higher, because her strength is so pitiful. Im a big fan of the high hp and defense combination. It mak es her really hard to take down.Questions:1 do all the stats shops, like the zopolis market, heaven shop and statistics shop on rec floor 2, have the same prices for stats? Or is one of them a bit more economically priced than the others?2 Are there ever better healing potions than the +500 hp ones? This is not a very important question nor is it a request to make better potions.3 sometimes my dragon strike scroll practice doesnt work. You say in the manual it only works once per scroll per battle. But sometimes, I hold down the right shift key and press enter, and it acts as though I am actually trying to cast the spell. I suggest you make holding shift-enter would, if you had already used up your practice for that scroll, let you know, instead of proceeding as though you hadnt pressed shift.4 Does the stair blocked off on wing 1 where he says its off limits, kid, ever become accessible before the post game? For example I like accapellla music and how it sounds, does it mean that person 1 must like it and reply? I can relate to your discouragement.Schools for the blind definitely do stunt your emotional and intellectual growth, particularly if youve been there long enough.Just remember that you do have the upper hand, though. You know that whats going on is wrong. I know that doesnt help you now, and hell, it may never help you. But knowing is half the battle.You can do a lot in the tech industry, if you want to, but this isnt the topic for that. Actually, a couple of months ago, my sister and I got into an argument that resulted in her not speaking to me for over 2 weeks because of that issue, believe it or not.We were discussing how, in her opinion, its a good thing that kids no longer can have soda in schools. I responded that yes, in theory, this is good, but by the same token, the food and drinks they do provide should be fit for human consumption. When she asked me to expand on that, I told her about how, when I was at school, my friends and I would always have to be really wary of the milk. It was expired a lot of the time. A couple of my friends were partially sighted, so those of us who couldnt see would pass around our little bottles of milk to those who could so that we could be sure the dates were OK.So right away, my sister thought I was making that up. That pissed me off, because I may be a lot of things, but I am not a liar. And why would I lie about something like that? So finally, after about 10 minutes of her saying that schools cant possibly provide expired milk without being sued, and that clearly I was just looking to start drama so that I would get attention, I snapped and cursed her out.Anyway, the milk wasnt the only bad thing on the menu. I got sick a couple of times from undercooked chicken. The food was, in general, quite flavorless, and as a result, I barely ate most days.And I would make that up...why? Ill never know. Re: getting started with torrenting Hi,@frastlin Let me see if I can help with some of this besides legalities of course, as I am unaware of the laws that exist in the US and the EU countriesUtorrent, Bit comat, bit torrent (I havent used this one) and many others are torrent clients that let you upload torrents and download them from websites like kat.ph or anywhere else that offers torrent filesThese torrent files are nothing but a file containing information about the files that its assigned to. then using p2p you get the bits and pieces from other users to get that same file on to your computer(this is known as leaching), during this time you also upload the bits and pieces you receive to other users who need them. then when you have the hole file, you can continue to provide it to other users as you have a complete copy and you continue to provide the same file to others, you become the seeder of that torrent.Its a bit early for me in the morning though, so sentences and ex planations may come across a bit skewered. A seedbox is a service that downloads torrents for you, seeds them and can also provide you with a way to download those files to your computer using ftp and other methods which do not involve using the torrent network, good for countries where torrenting is frowned upon.a vpn as far as I know, will hide your reale ip address from other people who are leaching and seeding a torrent that you are doing the same to, although I could be wrong here as I havent read about them or used them before.BitTorrent Sync is a dropbox like service as explained above by someone, but I do not think it can be used to download torrents as you can with utorrent and other torrent clients. The behavior you describe is the way many people, myself included, use the IOS keyboard. Double tapping keys is, In my opinion, a bit slower. Fortunately, you can change this setting easily, Using the voiceover rotor. Typing mode is one of the options when you are in an edit field. The one you want is called standard typing.Best,Zack. You know the rules on moderation and insults, if indeed someone had been actively insulting or acting maliciously towards Speeder then there wouldve been a quick response, and that has not happened, or at least if it has please report it in the usual fashion. On the one hand, Burak and co are indeed correct, there are times when a posted topic simply doesnt get responses for one reason or another, that is part of being on a forum (Ive got my own fare share of topics with less than 5 replies). I will say though checking Speeders profile and the 10 topics he has created it does seem you have a point, they have not gotten many replies. The answer however does not seem to be (as you suggest), that it is anything that the community has against Speeder, so much as perhaps that the subjects of his topics either are very specific questions that do not require huge amounts of responses, or that they are not written in such a way as to get the general interest of people browsing the forum. For example Need list of joystick supported games a quite okay question, but a list would be gigantic! personally I dont own a joystick so didnt answer. games and joysticks wouldve likely been a better title. Tyros 4 I dont even know what one of these is. Saying what it is in the topic title might be helpful so people know what theyre getting into as a lot of people tend to ignore stuff they dont understand or assume its not aimed at them. Open beta of a mud For a start, there are huge amounts of new games, but also weve seen a lot of mud betas. Perhaps new space mud or new mud with great combat system or something like that would grab attention more. Remember, w hen you write a topic subject it has to tell people enough to make people want to open it and answer, sinse the forum is rather large and not everyone can read everything. this is I suspect why Speeders 10 topics might have been missed, not because there is any animosity towards him personally but because they just got a little lost in the flow. Re: planning to buy a PS3, XBOX 360 or a PS4 I meant to answer this yesterday. Ive got both the ps3 and 360. Ill tackle the online stores first.Both the PSN and xbox live have online access to their stores. They are both accessible, though the psn usually has its games listed at better prices and it generally has more content. Beyond the store part, the xbox website also lets you exchange messages with your xbox live friends, set up game invites and generally do most things that you can do on the xbox dashboard. I dont have a ps4, and I probably wont have a ps4 unless some exclusive comes out to tempt me back to the land of consoles. That exclusive will probably be rock band The ps3s system software has largely stayed the same over the years. Its made up of a bunch of tabs that run horizontally from left to right, the tabs contain vertically scrolling menus that dont r ap so its very easy to navigate. the xbox dashboard on the other hand is a bit of a dogs dinner. The dashboard has been changed about by microsoft no less than 4 times over the years, in its current incarnation it resembles the windows 8 start menu with page after page of differently sized tiles many of wich dump you back in the same place when you click on them. The only bit I bother with is the bottom left tile on the first page which lets you into a list of the apps and games youve played last and the tile 2 above that which activates what ever is in the DVD drive. The ps3 gets bonus points for the audio thumbnails that play when you insert a game. Each one is different and lets you identify what game your about to play without loading it up. Both stores let you pay for your games with credit cards, xbl also lets you use paypal. As for what games are still up for download, the majority of them still should be though I cant say for sure with mor e research. Both systems are usable. One has the better menu system the other has the better online friend management system. You will have to decide what you would rather. I know personally I prefer the ps3 the menue system just swings it for me. \ill cut this short before it turns into more of an epic infodump. I hope this helped at least a little. My reasons? First of all, in math class, we only learn about 3 chapters per year. Really. In geometry, thats literally all we learned, because we learn so slowly. Plus, for me at least, it takes so long for me to get the concepts of math. And from a test I took, Im a 12.9, twelfth grade nineth month, which is the highest it goes, in everything except math, which I have an 8.5, eighth grade fifth month. On a side note, anyone know what test that is? Anyway, the food is horrible. The mac and cheese is half cooked, as well as everything else they have to actually prepare for us, but everything already precooked or whatever is half decent. The rules there? Well, we have a handbook that is 2 volumes in braille, and one page is of our rights, which are so crazy. We have right to property, but teachers and all are allowed to take away our personal devices? Yeah, nice. Dorm staff and all are even allowed to take our cell phones, or prohibit us from even bringing them toschool. Oh, and we have to let the school know about the brand name, type, make and model of all our devices when we bring them, or we cannot bring them anymore. The rules cannot be easily changed. The admins of the school is very static and just, unyielding and cold, not on the outside though. When parents come, everyone has to be on their best behavior, but when they leave the students go back to being loud and crazy. Speaking of kids, the school mainly has partially sighted kids. So the TV is usually on, and guess what teenagers, even 17 and 18 year olds, are watching? Spongebob! Yep, cartoons. Thats what their life is outside class. And the kids that arent shallow and into cartoons are usually so afraid of getting into trouble. The school has made them so afraid of doing anything against them. Its so lonely there, because no one else is willing to try anything new or anything. And no one actively opposes the school. I would try going to public school, but I dont have my parents support, and Im almost out anyway. But theyve already done their damage to me. Probably permanent damage. From the day I came there, when I was maybe 6 or so, to around 10th grade, I was babied. I didnt have to iron my clothes like everyone else, even other blind people, (when I say blind, I mean totally blind. Ugh I hate it when I look up how to do something blind and I find well i can see almost good but im blind crap.). PS, sorry about all the punctuation, for those whose tts ignores them, if its confusing to yall. But anyway, they didnt make me clean or anything, even when the most complicated device I had was a gameboy. So when I was spirited off to semi-independent living, There, I had to cook, clean, iron, all that. So yeah, it was a rough time for me, even in my second semester of being there. I never escaped, and may never escape, this mindness of laziness and feeling, most of the time, that my life doesnt exactly matter, that it just passes by and things I do have no consequence for me. And now Im on the road to working for the IRS answering calls and all that. So Im not even sure what to do. Even when I was young, Ive loved writing. If I had enough information, I could write and write about it, and Im good at learning how to use technology. But what the crap can those skills do for me? Thats what Ive always asked myself and others, and they just give simple little answers that I cant even remember now, like there is so much out there! stuff like that. just got a Iphone6 plus, cases and questions Ahoy allI know I havent posted in a while. But the forum acting a bit crazy as in not remembering to login automaticly and my internet provider decideing to have a flud of incompetent staff that were not able to fix the internet issues that I was experiencing for a few days has contributed to it in one way or the other, but I digressA few days ago, I got a plezent surprise in form of an iphone6 plus. If I had time to decide between Iphone6 and the plus, I suppose I could have chosen a 6 instead of a 6plus, but ey, while its a bit larger than any other phone Ive had or used before, its battery is good, and the bigger screen actually helps in writeing faster.On the other hand, something unexpected at least I did not expect it on a device I was having to pay a arm and a leg for :d the speaker is kinda meh. Its louder, which is a good thing,believe me the speaker on the iphone5 was so quiet I suppose thats the wrong word to use here, th at you couldnt here someone calling you if the phone was on the other end of the room you were sitting in. However the good in those speakers was they didnt distort or crackle at full volume no matter what song was on, or if vo was at 100 percent volume.This though, tends to do that if VO is above 70, hell even at 70 65 percent volume it does show signs of distortion and sort of a crackle. I havent actually tried many songs on its speaker besides a few, so couldnt say,but to a certain extent it happens there, too.The biggest pain in the arse and a cause of worry has been the camera lense that protrudes a bit, and I have been trying to get a case that is not bulcky and is able to get rid of that lense getting scraped or damage which is likely to happen without one, and the search has proved to be fruitless so far. all the stores I have visited either have extremely thin cases, which dont help at all in the way I want them to, or those bulcky cases which make the phone look like a armored monster.The touch ID is kind of nice , specially sinse I upgraded from a 5 which obviously didnt have it and is fun to play around with and makes thhings a bit eazyer when buying apps from the appstore, although it doesnt seem to work sometimes when Ive tried it with a whet finger I suppose that isnt a good idea to do it again,either. Anyway, these are my thoughts after Ive used it for a few days, I dont think its even been a week yet. any suggestions for a good case? tips any apps to try out on ios8 or extentions would be awesome.plus, I wouldnt mind hereing on what your thoughts on the 6plus are, even if you dont own it or do.P.S. Re: Certain people getting ignored? Hello. As everyone else has said, we do notice your posts. In my personal opinion, you and Speeder are no different than anyone else on this forum. You come here to chat with people with similar interests, and maybe get a few questions answered along the way. Saying that people are making a point of ignoring your topics is completely absurd. Ive ignored topics before, simply because the title did not grab my attention, I dont like the game or program in question, I dont understand what theyre looking for, Etc. There have also been times when Ill open a topic and see that I cannot help with their question and move on. My intelligence about the specific topic does not change depending on who creates the thread. I tend to ignore topics that talk about MUDs since I have no interest in them, and just as well since I wouldnt be able to contribute to the conversation. Its similar when I post a topic. I create a new threa d with the hope that someone will come along who knows the answer to my question. A lot of the time though, they dont, and thats okay. Ill continue trying to solve it myself, but it is no fault of anyone that they were unable to help me with my issue. My personal preference when it comes to answering a topic is not to do it if you cant contribute. I get annoyed if I ask a question, and the next post tells me to Google it. If I hadnt yet googled it, I wouldnt be here on a forum asking. I also find it frustrating when the second post says that they dont know, or even worse, they ask what Im talking about. For example, if I post a question about WavePad and the next post asks what WavePad is, yes, Im going to be a little annoyed. However, I do not take any of my anger out on the forum. The people here are all the same in that were here to talk with people about common interests and have an enjoyable time doing it. Id post a link, but I ended up with it in a very roundabout manner. Nevertheless, fries, chicken tenders, cheese sticks, all that whenever I want, no grease involved and less dangerous than a stove.It also does chicken and steak, and basically like 75% of what youd put in an oven. Even cookies, though Ive not tried that yet (and probably wont, as Ive actually got an oven). And is small and decently portable.Unfortunately, its also like $300 (roundabout manner, remember?) and therefore definitely a luxury item. But its perfect for my dorm. Nor have I heard of anything suggesting the use of power shell, seen anyone using power shell, met someone who has used power shell, you get the idea.You should be able to do:pythonAt a terminal. This should give you a version number and such followed by Pythons interactive prompt. To get out, type exit() and press enter. To run your file instead, use the files name as the argument:python myfile.pyYour screen reader should read this fine. If not, its a settings issue; literally everything supports the regular command prompt, and at least Jaws and NVDA support power shell if you truly decide to use it.
