Hey all,I thought I'd post this before I head off to nap, after which I'll have to get up to go to work, w.I've created a team talk 5 server people can connect to. Though I have a few scripts to ensure its pulse is constant, I can't speak positively about our weather.Note. This is team talk 5 only. @Assault_FreakWhen KI comes out on PC, Cross-play and Cross-buy functionality will be available (we don't know how it works yet).  Basically, the short answer is simply no.  We won't have to re-purchase the content over again.As for Back Compat game lists, I'm going to hav eto try and dig out the official table (it's long to say the least).  Not sure if any playable games are there yet, but keep an eye out as MK9 and IGAU are rumoured to come at some point.

As far as I know, if your computer boots from the hard drive by default, there's no way to change that without going into the BIOS, which is inaccessible. Also, even when you're in the BIOS, the procedure for making any changes varies from computer to computer, which is why there has never been a guide to doing this without sighted assistance, and also probably why there's no Windows tool to do this. Different computer and BIOS manufacturers do it differently. An industry standard would have worked wonders here, but unfortunately it seems none was ever developed. So as far as I know, you're out of luck until you can get sighted assistance, as is anyone else who wants to use this.

With a laptop like that, it's more important to have an efficient dedicated graphics card than a powerful processor.Only a few games really use the CPU much, preferring to offload the work to the GPU instead, but if you only have the integrated Intel HD graphics, than you probably won't be able to run many games, weather or not you care about how they look, since most games have minimum requirements you must meet before they can even start, or at least play without constantly stuttering.So that said, you can probably get away with an AMD A8 or A10 processor too, along with the Intel chips that I suggested above, as long as it's a quad core.For a graphics card you'll need to have an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 700, 800 or 900 series, or an AMD Radeon R7 or R9 series chip, with at least 2GB of DDR5 memory, 4GB if it's DDR3.The DDR5 part is quite important, because DDR3 is much slower and you need more of it to get the same result, also try for

HiWell I like the game, I just wish the old one was finnished though and we got weapons in it.Sadly I have to aggree with everyone else, the old sbp  has still got me stuck in singleplayer mode on a metal ladder and something still crashes.On that note the single player of sbp while it was quite good, is basic crap now.I don't mind the multiplayer staying the same as single player in sbp is now or even just have sbu as sbp.One thing I'd really like is to see sbu finnished.You fight the dogs and cross the pits, beat the sharks and the men.You rumble through the bosses building recieving a message from the boss saying he hates you and wants you to die.You make it through the level, and well I suppose you could make it through another one or 2 and then have a big fight with the boss.battle wize I only found the knife to be good, I never got fists to work etc well but maybe its just me.I must say I do like the 
 idea of no bounderary steps in the game reminds me of superliam and those fans those could be a real bitch.I remember almost being at the end of a level and jumping and hitting one, I really wanted to smash my keyboard that day.

Music requests are very reliable. Just send in your request, within a few days it should be added on the site. If you are interested, they seem to be getting the Japanese editions of albums if there are any, so they contains the tracks of the original album if you were to get it normally off of conventional music shops, as well as the bonus tracks exclusive to Japanese editions of albums. Please note that Japanese edition does not mean that the artists themselves are from Japan. Since cd's are a lot more expensive in Japan, there is a minimum track limit on the cd's, and the music market in Japan seems to be a lot larger than in other countries which would explain why most if not all bands will always end up touring Japan. For example, Shinedown's album, Threat to Survival,. contains 2 bonus tracks in the Japanese edition that you otherwise wouldn't be able to get anywhere else, other than youtube. Some of these are obscure since I've heard that Japanese c
 d's have some kind of drm, i e they may be cd roms rather than redbook compliant.

As for main stream games, you really don't want to play them on any laptop. Main stream games require good proccessors graphics and alot of ram. If you get a laptop for playing main stream games, you would be giving up battery life. Now, if you are getting one to play audio games, then you would get away with a basic midrange laptop seeing that audio games do not demend alot out of power. As for your question on processers, that can be a challedge to answer. The I5 and I7 have the same amount of cores. The differents comes to how the proccesser uses the cores. The I7 basicly tells windows that the four cores that it has are 8. Not only that, it acts like it at times. Lets put it this way. You have 8 wagons of your favor things that you want to move. The I5 is hooking four hourses to four wagons and moving them to a different location and bringing the hourse around for the other four. The I7 is hooking 2 wagons to each of those hourses so that you have four hourse pulling 8 wa
 gons. That is the best way to explain that. Now let's add to this. Your hard drive is the place where you store all your things that you put into the wagons. Your ram is like the loading dock or plat form that you bback the wagons up to to load them. This loading dock thing has a wide enough  area to have all eight wagons backed up to load stuf. There is a door from the storage room to this loading dock thing. The bigger the door, the more you can fit through it. The bigger the load dock the more you can load, or have ready to load. The bigger the wagon, the more it can carry. The bigger the tellgate of the wagon, the faster you can move stuff from the dock to the wagon. Now I think I am done typing now. With a laptop like that, it's more important to have an efficient dedicated graphics card than a powerful processor.Only a few games really use the CPU much, preferring to offload the work to the GPU instead, but if you only have the integrated Intel HD graphics, than you probably won't be able to run many games, weather or not you care about how they look, since most games have minimum requirements you must meet before they can even start, or at least play without constantly stuttering.So that said, you can probably get away with an AMD A8 or A10 processor too, along with the Intel chips that I suggested above, as long as it's a quad core.For a graphics card you'll need to have an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 800 or 900 series, or an AMD Radeon R7 or R9 series chip, with at least 2GB of DDR5 memory, preferably 4GB.The DDR5 part is quite important, because DDR3 is much slower and you need more of it to get the same result, also try for the 900 and

Hello everybody,As I have seen in the previous posts on this forum, especially when comparing jaws to NVDA or vice-virsa, I have seen more users of NVDA than in any other place. I would need your help with NVDA for two issues that are keeping me off from switching completely to it.First, is NVDA's performance on microsoft word. When I open a 200 page book on word, filled with columns and tables, NVDA lags in speed and it becomes really slow, especially when reading those tables and columns. I am using Microsoft word 2007, which indeed, in my opinion, is the fastest edition of microsoft office products. Is there any way to enhance NVDA's performance on this program?Second, NVDA works slowly on windows explorer. When trying to go through the files and documents on the folders there, the speed of NVDA isn't the same as moving through the elements in other areas.Any help or suggestion would be highly appreciated.Cheers!

You can actually get away with playing mainstream games on a laptop if you want, though as people said don't expect it then to remain quiet or cool. For games, you're gonna want something with dedicated graphics. My 2013 MacBook pro with it's Geforce 650M can handle Both MK 10 and GTA V, they sound fine at least and play well, so any laptop that has a dedicated Geforce 750M or newer should be able to work. Those are usualy backed with a propper, quad-core I7 and at least 8 gigs of ram, so there should't be many things that computer won't handle in terms of daily tasks.

Yes, but why the hell would you.It's called sticking to what you said you would, do it and people respect you, don't do it and they distrust you, it's pretty simple.This isn't the first time this has happened, and as you can see by the less than inspiring comments and the voting results, it's working out just like you probably should have expected.There are always going to be a few people that will go apeshit over any new toy, no matter how inane and unoriginal, especially if it's free, E.G. almost everything written in BGT from late 2013 to early 2015.Maybe you should just use the developers room more often for little side projects, so that people don't get distracted from the one that actually gets all the hype?If you don't want people to react this way, then maybe that's what you should do, and it's not just me either, I'm one of a small amount of people that doesn't look at any new

Basically, it doesn't matter, at all, not unless your doing some seriously high powered stuff like multicore video conversion or compression of massive files all the time.  Something you really don't want to be doing on a laptop anyway because of the heat and build quality.As processors get more efficient, new versions of operating systems also happen to get better at running on slower, older hardware, so the difference, especially between processors, becomes less and less of an issue.There is barely any difference between Broadwell and Skylake in a laptop, especially for a reasonable price, since the only big thing is the new type of faster and cooler running RAM that it supports, which right now, is still quite expensive, along with the processors them selves, so I would wait until the next generation before adopting DDR4.The difference between Hazwell and Broadwell is more defined in terms of speed and power efficiency, but only with the early v

Kickstarter - RELESS, 3D audio positioning system

Hey guys, I just started my kickstarter for RELESS, which is an audio positioning system that uses collision detection to help users determine where walls are. I was hoping if you guys could take a look at this and check it out.I posted it in this link here.To show it off, I'm going to build a survival horror game that basically causes the main character to go blind, to appeal as a unique game to both the blind and the sighted. To the sighted it's a unique horror mechanic and to the blind it's a genre that hasn't been done much before (or had issues). The idea is that if I can deliver an equivalent experience, I've created a system that could easy be fine tuned to revolutionize sound design across the industry. This could potentially be huge.For now, I'm going to be finishing off the Braillemon bugs. I'm around Cinn
 abar Island, so we're in the home stretch. I should be able to release Braillemon in the next few weeks, or at least get a version out that gets all 8 gym badges and all the legends besides mewtwo. Thanks for your patience, I think this idea is going to really revolutionize 3D sound design.

I would suggest if you're seriously contemplating a system that can handle mainstream games, you should reconsider switching to a desktop unit.  They will be less expensive and provide more bank for your buck.  Laptops cost more quite obviously for the portability factor.Bare in mind that if you do decide to stick with a laptop you will be spending quite possibly over $1,000.  As for the post about a MacBook, the hardware on the Mac models are much more expensive than a Windows model.  In any case, I suggest looking into Alienware or possibly the Asus models -- they can provide good machines dedicated to gaming.  That's why you see manufacturers categorize their products by use rather than straight specs (average users don't understand the jargon).Best Regards,Luke

Hi everyone!First of all congratulation for Sam developing in term of the survive the wild game.It was challenge and so fun to play.By the way only the problem that anoied the people that I talk to nowaday.I'm not sure about the admin that you let's them to take care of your game.I can say some of them of course very excellent in term of helping you to take care your game for that.But only some admin as well that try to anoied the player by kicking them out of the game because of they got so many energy.If you could say like if people got lots of energy become cheater or anything.You could reduce the energy drink like pop can or etc.Kicking the people out of the game it was not a good solution.I don't wanna see the community to have a bad impression about admin that's why I have to write in public for people to know.And for myself I don't have any issue with any admin at all.I can say

So I downloaded this, and I gave it a try. I tried to be as open minded as possible, keeping in mined that this is a concept demo. Do keep in mined, I have not played scrolling battles pro, but played ultimit back when he was still working on it as mtg studios I believe it was.So understand that i'm going to try to be as balanced as I can.The short summery for though's who haven't picked the game up but have red the posts are the same as brad's.If you disregard the new changes of some new sounds, the changing of the level system and movement system, you couldn't really count this as a new game but as a remake of the original ultimit.Though I tried to approach this game with as much an open mined as I could and tried to find something to look for to like in it, frankly their's not that much to look at.I'll list the very few things I found to like.The way pits are handled, though their are way too menny in the fi
 rst level I enjoyed. I found that if you don't run and you just try to approach then jump over, you get fryed. If you take a running jump, you'll be able to make it over.If these wernt bunched so close together and not used so frequently throughout the layder half of the only level in the demo, these actually might provide some fun little level traps and could be used for storyline elements.Enemy movements. I rather like the initial concept of the enemies being able to jump, the problem though is them jumping over and into pits is that its nothing new. This was if i'm not mistaken in scrolling battles already. I found it rather annoying when enemies repeatedly jumpt up and down in front of you. This didn't add difficulty, it only made it frustrating because you can't jump up to hit them, nore do they even so much as move when you land.The number of enemies also makes it rather annoying if your working from a story concept. If this were a re
 gular beatemup stile game the number of enemies would be fine, but part of blending storyline and gameplay together is making sure nothing gets too repettitive or overly done in the story.I bring this specific point up because if given a bit more time before enemies start popping out, in specific sections, you could really use the jumping over tiles system to increase the game difficulty instead of being frustrating.Say for exampple, your inside a building, and their's a trap in the middle of the room. The fighting could then be increased in difficulty because not only do you need to avoid the trap, you also need to keep track of the enemies jumping around and moving. I realize that's a bad exampple and maybe someone can explain it better than me.I've held off on reviewing the story given that this is a concept demo, but I will say one thing. Do keep in mined I enjoy writing and would do it a lot more if I could think of any ideas, so this is my pers
 onal opinion only and i'm ready for contradictions or aposing viewpoints, whatever you prefer to call them.The problem with the games storyline is not the tts cutseens or any of that. I've used tts in my more recent projects with cutseens to grate effect.The problem is how the story opens and how it is advertized in the readme.I've listened to the only cutseen their was, and i'm rather curious. Why did the main character abruptly after finishing the news suddenly decide that he'd go outside and confront some random building, besides the reward of 50 dollars. Why did he not show any reaction to seeing a few guys popping up and attempting to shoot him directly in the face? And what besides again, the reward, made him continue on after dealing with said guys? Is he just that greedy for money? Is he curious? Their's a buntch of questions.This point here is also a personal opinion, but i'm rather curious why, if said building
  needed to be hidden a way, their was A no enemies garding the door, B why it was left unlocked, and C why the guards were spred out so thin and protection wasn't in itself at the actual entrance.If this bit was explained and the building was that top secret, then it might be sort of understandable placing enemies where they are now and placing enemies at the entrance as well.The reason I bring up this point about the story is its importent to note these when your doing storyline, speshily if like the readme says, you say it'll bring people hours of entertainment. If you want it to bring people hours and by hours I mean more than 2 or 3 hours of entertainment, their's a lot more your gonna have to do than providing cutseens every level, making super long levels, and spawning a buntch of enemies.Since this post is getting really long and I didn't realize I had waisted a while writing it, i'll rap it up with the following.In short, scro
 lling battles doesn't suffer from being a side scroller, or the language its programmed in if anyone thinks that, or any of that. What it suffers from is a rather rushed period of development and over done

hey windows 10 PE is here. read the following carefully. may want to also dropbox this in case the links go away.What is windows 10 pe and why was it needed to make when there was windows7 pe?The answer is simple.1.    Windows 7 was released back in the day when there was no usb 3.0let alone 3.1 and no uefi systems.So windows 7 pe would not boot on a uefi system.For this we needed sighted help to install windows or disable uefi andgo back to legacy bios mode which was a waste of system feature anddid not provide some kind of security against rootkits.2.    Windows 10 pe is made so that it can be bootable on a uefi andsecure boot enabled systems also.Of Corse you can boot a windows 10 pe on a non uefi system.3.    There is a misconception.If you have windows 7 or windows 10 pe you can only install windows 10or windows 7 no you can install windows as old as xp, note windowsolder then xp are not tested for installation.4.    Ok now let’s get a bit technical shall we?The step 4 of this guide is for people who have a uefi system only.People who don’t have uefi system please don’t do any steps in thisguide.Now let’s prepare our boot disk.For that take any external hard disk or usb flash drive.Note the hard drive will be cleaned to be converted to gpt.So after the hard drive is connected to the computer open commandprompt as admin to do that.1.    Press windows and r keys.2.    Type cmd.exe3.    Hold right shift and press enterNow in the command prompt type the following commands and press enterafter each.DiskpartList diskSelect disk x replace the number of the disk that diskpart shows youin your previous command mostly on most systems internal disk is 0 andexternal disk is 1Make sure you selected the right disk number and then type cleanThis will remove any partition table from the disk including volumes.Then type convert gptThen type create partition primary.Now all command prompt work is over.So close the command prompt and open disk management for this do thefollowing.1.    Press windows and r2.    Type control and press enter.3.    Find administration tools and press enter then find computermanagement and press enter.4.    Now computer management mmc will open.5.    Go to storage and find disk management.6.    Press enter and then tab.7.    Now find some partition called the following: type basic, file systemraw.8.    Right click on it and format it.9.    Format the drive with ntfs file system.Now open the windows 10 pe x86 or x64 exe files leave all options tothe defaults and then select your hard drive and start writing to it.Once the iso is written to it start booting to it and start installwindows again on your own without sighted help.5.    ok now every1 uefi or non uefi read this.The download link for the iso ishttp://opopanax.net/download/from this link you will get the following.1.    A exe file having windows 10 x64 image.2.    A exe file having windows 10 x86 image.3.    A exe file with windows 7 x64 image yes windows 7 pe is updatedwith updates to new programs and addition of some more programs.4.    Updated version of windows 7 x86 pe.Known issues of windows 10 pe.1.    For security net pe is not set to run at start up u have to run itfrom win 10 pe desktop.Network pe is a program which helps the pe to connect to the internetas it loads and initialises network drivers.2.    On windows 10 64 bit pe even if the wireless card drivers aredetected the notifications area will show no wireless connections areavailable to solve this do the following.1.    Open control panel2.    Open network and sharing centre.3.    Select setup a new connection.4.    And then manually connect to a wireless network.5.    Ethernet connection works fine.If you have any questions or find any bugs you can contact me and Iwill report them to Carlos.If some Ethernet card or wireless card drivers are not found, werequire the following info.1.    Card manufacturer2.    Card model number.Thanks for reading this long guide.

Um so the yoyo. Is that a one-off? You hit a switch somewhere then go to a stage in 15 and it's in the menu with the rocket and the medical kit. right? If so, it's a one-time-only gift because it doesn't seem to work that way for me. Does the dial have to be set to a certain number after you get the first one? I can get more yoyos, but I'm trying to do it without blatantly cheating.

Question about two different processors

Hello.Iam searching for a new Laptop and I have a questionregarding the processor.A friend of mine has a machine with an Intel core i5 build in which works at about 2.5 ghz in normal mode and about 3.0 ghz in the Turbo boost mode, It*s from the last Generation of processors, not the skylake one, the one before that.One of the machines I found has an Intel core i7 build in, and this one is from the skylake Generation of Intels processors.The strange Thing is that it sems to be working slower than the older i5 processor. As far as I found out, the unit works at 2.5 ghz up to 2.9 or 3.0 ghz when in Turbo boost.Is that normal, or is something wrong there?

There are many factors that could be a reason for the speed difference you say you are noticing. It could be other hardware in the computer, like the hard drive or even the software on the operating systems. Preinstalled Windows from OEM's can sometimes be extremely slow because of all the software in the background eating up CPU time and disk operations.The other thing to consider is that there are a lot of different kinds of processors, both in the I5 and I7 ranges. In theory, the I7 is more powerful than an I5. In practice it all depends on the version. Recently Intel started to release I5's and I7's optimised for energy efficiency and size. These often end up in things like new ultrabooks or the new Mac Mini. They're smaller, use a lot less energy and of course don't run as fast as a result. They also usually have only 2 cores with hyperthreading compared to 4 cores for a the other I7's found in more conventional laptops and desktops. The sa
 me can be said for the I5 processors. If you buy a normal mid range laptop that has a core I5, it's very likely it will be able to outperform an I7 in a more expensive ultrabook.When trying to figure out that sort of information, look on Intel's site first, which will give you the actual number of cores in a processor, you can also look for reviews of the computer that you're interested in or other computers that also happen to have that processor in them. One site I really like for in-depth performance info is AnandTech which, if you can get passed the fact they split up their reviews into 2 pages is very good and has way more than enough information.
