No worries, I definitely get where you're coming from. I wasn't necessarily trying to say you should do exactly the same thing as a big game studio does, just that those were some options to look at... and frankly, if push comes to shove I'd rather see a game released later than rushed, that's for sure! And while it's true that a lot of studios do announce games with tentative release dates, it's usually a relatively small time frame... q2 2017, just throwing one out there, and that doesn't stay for long... the release date is usually announced some time soon after that, up to six months before release. But i definitely understand not having the history and the like to make predictions. And I don't think I would say that the only reason fighting games can release character trailers is because it doesn't spoil things... on the contrary, I think that actually does ruin a lot of surprises. But many rpg titles, particularly out of Japan usu
 ally have one trailer come out every so often, sometimes it's just the player wandering a new location or getting into a random battle with a mob, or a fragment of a story cutscene that contains no spoilers. I actually avoid watching fighting game character reveals every month, and thank God it's only every month, because that does actually ruin the experience for me when the game finally comes out.. but when it's a trailer that has a super combo compilation, or story clips, I definitely do watch it... even in character reveals a lot of stuff is left out since most of them is clips of them fighting against other characters. But I understand what you're saying, and I have no problem with waiting as long as it takes... I'm just saying that there are some people who might appreciate more regular updates on game progress, whatever form that takes. It's a fine line but I think you've by far done a great job at walking it, I would just have rathered 10 s
 horter clips over a few months than the three demos we got back, I don't even remember when, despite how long they were. I actually wouldn't mind some previews of some of the skills, attacks etc, maybe without the names being read out and the efffect, just what they sound like in a battle context, or some of the interactivity possible in the game. But that's all in your own time, and my post wasn't meant to sound critical, either, and I appologize if it did. It's just my point of view as someone who's observed the business models of most of the well known game studios out there from a gamer's perspective, and I want this game's interest not to die down. I'm looking forward to whatever comes next!

I will say, I hope fervently that Injustice 2, if it indeed is real and not a trick, won't reuse so many of the same assets as the first one did. Granted most of them were character models and animations, but still... I also hope that injustice soudns and plays a little different to MK 9 and 10. If I hadn't known and was just told to listen to a match between two characters without anything to go on but the fight itself, there's no way I would be able to tell it was superman vs. Batman, or anything DC... it would simply sound like another current generation MK game.

Has anyone read the official prologue and the new chapter that were released a few years ago? J.K. Rowling has also written more extensively about what the characters are doing these days. In fact, when we read about Harry being the father of three children in the epilogue of Deathly Hallows, the time at which that was set would have been just a few weeks ago.As for that article, there are a lot of different spiritual beliefs. I didn't know schools were teaching those books though.

Folks we (well this poster in terms of dev) haven't stopped working on the game since our Kickstarter. Although a game can never be perfect I hope its worth a revised test. You might remember our aim is to create a game that is accessible both audibly and visually. One of our key aims is to make an inclusive game for disabled and ordinary gamers. I'd like to hear what we should keep going forward for new games. Also if you find any must fix glitches and I've a couple to share with you. Like the target score keeps changing on screen... We've experimented with a wide range of ideas to make the game playable and provide some settings you can modify such as music on , damp or off. Same for voice... There is narration + slow mo at the start of a level again this can be toggled off. Downloads are up... but feedback is hard to come by. If you are interested in helping me develop and overcome specific issues for the Unity game engine I'd love to hear from you. It would be cool to have an enemy that follows you and shuot at you if you pass him without killing him. Oh and an enemy able to shoot at you but that you don't have to shoot, else it divides into 2 enemies that if you shoot divides again in two etc. Just suggestions, I understand that this game is supposed to emulate an already exsisting game, so no problems if you want to keep it as similar as possible to the original!

Very strange, since on my machine, it's extremely consistent, task manager=GG crash. I'm honestly surprised they run today, because Grizzly Gulch was designed to run under windows 95/98/2000. Actually NT was mentioned, so that might be why it works. That's one thing Microsoft seems to do well on, ensuring backwards compatibility with older software.

Well the good news is that I do believe it's port 25 that is the problem, since both the mail accounts which weren't working were using it. The bad news however, is that I have tried changing the port on my dark account to 465 and 587 and neither worked. The account doesn't need a secure ssl connection, but neither of those ports seemed to make a difference, I also can't contact the person in charge since I get in touch with her by email . As to my private account with btinternet, well thanks to btinternet's stupid security I can no longer access that account anyway and will probably setup another, so right now it's just the one account I have. Any suggestions on sending mail with another port than 25?

Thanks for the advice, port 587 did the trick. It'll be nice not to be stuck without email for two months which would've been quite a pest. I was actually rather confused as to why it didn't work, since I did! get it to work in egypt and austria, as well as all around the Uk.

Furry paws is indeed good and very accessible, also there is puppet nightmares, which has a db page here The game features battling in a pokemon style way with your three soul puppets, an anime like story and probably the most complex rpg combat I've seen in a browser game with party formations, elemental weaknesses, equipment for each soul puppet, breeding, abilities, didiciplins and more. There are also other activities such as feeding your soul puppets recipes you create breeding your soul puppets, adventuring while your offline, and playing matches against other players as well as achievements.One thing I particularly like in puppet nightmares is the ability to get limited edition soul puppets usually only purchiceable with credit by auction or in several other ways, and the fact that lots of previously available limited editions remain available (i

Yes, your weapons will be stronger depending on the multiplier. Look at my BK 3 walkthrough for a full explanation on weapons, or just read this. Multiplier means your attack times the multiplier plus the attack of the weapon. So since the super buster blade has 3000 attack and the multiplier is 11, it would now have 10700 attack because your attack is 700. 700 times 11 equals 7700 plus 3000 equals 10700. So, you would be doing 10700. In defense mode, you would be doing 5350 damage because in defensive mode it's half damage. Defensive mode only works with all the buster blades and the pole axe.

Still, that was my first thought. If you're signing in from a computer, it's probable that you're going to want to do a find/remote wipe. If you're finding and wiping devices, it could be because they're presumed stolen. If that's the case, you would actually want your Apple ID password to be different from that stored on the phone itself so whoever winds up with your phone can't do horrible things to your account. Just my thoughts.

Why this?Crazy Party runs fine and it uses BGT network functions. It works fine for me.PureBasic also has pretty competent network functionality built in.Don't ask people for advice regarding this, you will always get a million and one answers. If you want to use PureBasic, use PureBasic. Nothing's stopping you. Same goes for Python or BGT or whatever. As long as it works, who cares what it's written in? We most likely won't see the code either way, so why would it bother us?I'll now go back to developing my first person multiplayer RPG in AutoHotkey. Please forgive me.

According to the youtube comments for the Injustice 2 Trailer, there is no mention of PC support. Mind you, MKX was like this at the beginning, too, not advertising PC support, but then half assing it in later (just to get the cash flow). I'll be content if NR/WB just says it's a console exclusive, since then they won't be planning a bait and switch like they did with MKX for PC. If they, however, later say they're supporting PC again, avoid it at all costs. NR/WB have a horrible track record with pc titles, due in no small part to their insistence on outsourcing the port, rather than developing it in-house. While I do not advocate piracy, Injustice 2 will probably be a title I would grab a pirated copy of first, just to see how it performs, before I decide to support the company with my dollars. I feel I've earned that right, after the way they treated their pc customers, myself among them.Kai

Disabling touchpad on windows 7

Hi. Hope people don't mind another technical question. My lady has a windows 7 toshiba laptop, and has a problem with the touchpad mouse, she keeps catching it. I'm looking for a way to disable the dam thing, but can't find one. I've looked in hardware and it's listed as "ps2  compatible mouse" but there's nothing specific to the touchpad I can find, likewise I've checked under mouse properties in control panel, but while there are various settings about the pointer speed etc, nothing about disabling the touchpad. Does anyone know a way of doing this?  My lady is finding it something of a pest, her not being usedto laptop keyboards.

Hi.At smooth gunner, well you know, I like it due to the fact that it is actualy quite different from other text games I have played over the course of the last few years.These were just games where you would type in actions and the character would do it. I like that this is kind of command line based and you have to think of the commands you need to type to continue with the game.If you have problems getting in to it, I could also explain the game for you on skype or a similar voice service if you want me to, I would be willing to do that cause I think that this game is really fun and chalanging to play, something I am missing with most audio games.

My thoughts would probably be similar to slj's as I said previously, however I still! haven't got the dam thing into english, again, I downloaded, and did the arrow thing, now on my laptop and no luck, I hit enter on english.cmg and there is no change the game is still in Russian. This translation issue definitely! needs working on if this game is intended for people who aren't Russian speakers.As to the game generally, the concept of a resource management and mining game as I said is a good one, we need more complex stratogy games in audio and that is definitely a way to goo, especially if there were multiple uses different players could make with the ores, eg, some could be smelted into iron or steel and then made into mining tools for better extraction rates, some could be made into sellable items etc. There is definitely a good concept here, but it needs working out into a game idea for something that will engage people's judgement, eg, what o
 res to mine and what equipment to make, and also as I said it'd be nice if  English speakers could play this game too when it goes into beta, or at least whatever bug that is making the english not be translated get fixed.

Well I might have travelled halfway across the globe to Americanland but I'm still very addicted to this game and am downloading beta 39 as we speak. One suggestion I do have though is it'd be nice if the exe file to play the game kept the same name between versions eg, being just callled crazy party.exe instead of crazy party 39.exe"  I have setup start menu shortcuts for the game and it'd be nice if I didn't have to delete these and create new ones each version. I also wonder, is there a changelog? then again I suppose a changelog would be in French so that probably wouldn't help much .I'll let the audeasy list know.

My only question is, how does the typing work on Ios? The onscreen keyboard is okay for short things, but I'm not sure about it for the hole interface of a game, one reason why i've never downloaded frotz for Ios, much less one of the mud clients (though i've not yet  heard of an Ios mud client that ran exactly smoothly with vo).

Port 25 blocking is happening pretty much everywhere, at certain ISPs. The problem is that port 25 is always the public SMTP server port, so if left open, it can mean anonymous, unauthenticated spam from bots direct to mail servers. Hence, block the port and force people to use the "Submission" port, which typically requires authentication and/or security (but not always).I understand it, but I'm not a fan, myself. I'd rather the port be blocked by default, but that the customer be able to unblock it in their own home gateway, or by quickly submitting a form to the ISP. JMO, but port 25 blocking is just what the ISPs need to force you to use their own email services, the cheeky bastards.

I rushed through to level 25 to see the items in the Bazaar, but if I recall you need to press the " key to enter the shops outside of the main town. I think that is the key command, but it's been over 4 years since I last played so some things are a little fuzzy.

Greetings. You guys might be in for a release sooner than I originally thought, since i've decided to revert to the release cycle of project alpha as that seems to work the best. Meaning i'll begin releasing betas, maybe not all the way completed in terms of story but i'll add more on as we hit the next beta. This'll also allow me to get critical components tested such as the new cross platform support, and weather switching to libaudioverse from freesl has patched that annoying sound card not working ishue.

You can allways press shift to get a list of all the commands. I don't have a key for " on my keyboard, and shift +2 didn't work, so I just use that. And no, you can visit all shops on all flors even before you get to the store.

Many of the tweaks that make Win10 halfway acceptable work, and better, on Windows 8.1. Thus I am staying on that platform, for my native Windows needs (WinXP in my primary virtual machine). You all know by now, of course, why I cannot and will not use Win10, and I'll thank you kindly not to try and persuade me to the contrary. You might try Win8.1, Afrim. It's a halfway point between the two, and you can have many of the innovations that appear in Win10, like faster operating speeds, less processor and RAM consumption, better power management, better networking performance, and many others, but without the same compromises. Classic Shell works, but the OS is not a gutted shell of its former self, you don't need to be pestered out of your mind, and you can sign in using a local account, with a little determination. Privacy controls work, and apply only to TIFKAM 
 apps, are off by default, and can be managed easily and fully from the GUI. Telemetry can (and should) be thoroughly removed, and then disabled, from the Windows updates list. You don't need tools just to unload most of the crap, which keeps your maintenance down, and means that (with the exception of changing a few file associations here and there) you don't need to replace any functionality, like Internet Explorer or Media Player, if you don't want.Win7 was an all right release. I'd sooner have had a Vista SP3, myself, for the classic Start Menu. That didn't happen, so people have come to revere Win7. This is wrong, IMO; Microsoft have done great work in future releases of Windows, but as is so often the case with MS nowadays, seem to be completely out of touch with what their users actually want, which is why we find ourselves in this mess. OS X has its issues, but it's really true than it remains a clean and uncluttered paradise in comparison

Hi Leon. We are working on a game to be released with the console which is a story driven mystery/puzzle/action game. We felt our initial game should probably try and be enjoyable by most people and that is what we came up with. We will start concentrating on maybe different genres like strategy or RPG etc afterwards. You wake with no idea who or where you are with a mysterious voice in your head and you try to work out what is going on and make sense of it all. Its a working progress Im glad to hear you have ideas SLJ and no coding is needed for the Sonus. We will try our best to supply all the resources and tutorials needed to turn a complete newbie into a game developer so we can give those ideas life. I cant wait to see what people make

@Kelwel, perhaps you could use the edit function instead of posting so many one line posts? It isn't really a problem or similar but it does make the forum a little cluttered to read.I'm now continuing my conquest of the gyms.  Two things I'd like to see,  are firstly a way to know if you have all of a given card type from a given gym, and secondly a way to skip to a given card type in the dec editer rather than having to hammer the up and down arrows. Say ctrl and arrows skips you to the first card of a given type,or maybe left and right arrows could sort the cards by category, eg, normal, flying, fighting, all etc.I'd also still rather like a key to shut off the music in the server waiting window, that way it'd be far  easier to create a server and see if anyone else wanted to join you while doing something else in another window without having to hammer the function keys up and down.

Hmmm, Burak, it didn't occur to me there would be a shortcut key for this, though since i've used the function f5 one for turning the screen off myself it doesn't surprise me. I wonder though, is there a way to make it perminant? the one thing about the function key switches, or at least the speakers one is they do have this annoying habbit of undoing themselves after reset, plus of course, I'm not sure about messing around with which does what (it turned out to be f1 on my toshiba machine, but there is no guarantee my lady's is the same since it's a different model, it'd be nicer if there was a perminant cutout.

On my Dell Latitude laptop the short cut to disable the touchpad is Fn + F8, and the nice thing is, the setting is sticky, it survives rebooting and powering off.If you can't find a short cut to disable the touchpad, or the setting isn't sticky, you can usually disable the driver in the device manager in the control panel.hth

you know what? that's it!i mean to people like nibar. guys, just try to make a little code, just a little freaking toy, and you'll realize that's so hard to code. i mean, i'm not a god of the programming, i think i'm even one of the worst cause until at the current moment i didn't release anything. sam has a source code of mine so he can confirm you that i was so  stupid when i made that. but i'm working on multiplayer and singleplayer games and all what i can say is that's so hard to make them for others to like.i have a little team of something like 10 testers who are finding bugs  and making stuff like this. what i mean here is to do this yourself just 5 minutes or more and after you can start bitching at others cause they didn't add that at that moment when you suggested.best regards.

I guess it works after you've unlocked the cheats, i.e. reached a certain number of points. I guess the best idea would be to create a board where you have jumping barriers on every square so that you can win quite alot of points. But I haven't tried this idea. Back ten years ago I played the game for about two months and hoped my opponent doesn't drown or that I don't drop off. This being said, try to achieve the codes. If they're not working, they must have a reason for it.  It's possible, trust me.

I remember playing this game some years ago, so 5 minutes ago, I just actually finished a game, sort of. I also remember that board working in some other playthrough long ago. I did try creating the mettal berrier board and I got 116,000 points. You need 110,000 points to get the cheats. But it's strange, as upon game completion, I won, then the announcer said that it was the computer's turn. the game then just sat there. I had to exit and the cheats weren't there. I have no idea how others ended up getting the cheats, I'd love them myself for entertainment purposes as I have yet to see or know what they do.

I'll try function F8 and see how that works. I didn't really want to mess about with hardware drivers too much in case I broke something  unfixable, though i suppose it wouldn't matter if I just disabled the driver  since I could always reenable it later if it caused a problem.

I love and definitely agree with everything said here about Harry Potter. the part in the 5th book where Serious fell through that strange vail, did cause me to stop reading and focus on the vail, which didn't get me anywhere lol. I can read that particular section for years and years and still never be able to explain that vail. For example, what is its main purpose? What was with the whispering voices behind the curtain? Why could Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood here the voices, when Hermione could not? I wonder if it was ever covered in any fan fictions?Then you also do have the thestrals. Harry saw both his mother and father get killed. So that just doesn't make sense. he should have saw those Thestrals the first time he ever set foot on platform 9and3quarters. I could go on for hours haha.As for fond memmories of my experiences with the series, I remember getting into it full blown when I was 11. It was just before my 6th grade year, and I remember readin
 g the first audiobook completely in 1 and a half days. It was pretty cool. As of today, I've read all 7 audiobooks from Jim Dail at least 7 times, and 3 and a half of the Steven Frie audiobooks once, I got both sets and they're both awesome in there own original way
