hi sam,You claim  that you've fixed the speedhack bugs but is it for just walking man? Some players use shields and/or use poison drinks right in front of my eyes, like goodplayer. Prevent those cheaters man! Some players get lag and stop playing for just this reason! fix those!

Ah, that's it.I caught myself wondering the other day why I wasn't the least bit enthusiastic about developments in VR. Apparently, I'd forgotten that "develops in VR" means "better angular tricks in tiny video screens."I'm gonna go play a lap harp on a street corner until I can afford a Novint Falcon and some surround-sound headphones. ... And maybe to hire someone to do all the parts of engine creation I'm bad at.(But, hey, Aireal3d is supposed to be cool, or something. Using air pressure to create 3d tactile illusions. I feel like it's probably in the "a room covered in monitors" phase, though.)

I think it would be cool if instead of just machine gun or rifle or whatever if their were actual gun models. For instance an AK47 or an AR15 or something like that and you could either make it so you can pick the weapons up as you walk around or maybe a points system like people have mentioned. Also I think the kill streak bonuses is also a good idea.

hello guysok i think it's time for me to post here. first the point idea is not good. this is not a game there you go and earning points to buy things, this is a game there you have to go and kill people. i like the cconsept. just take up as a example. people will cheat points to go and buy items. so a point idea is not good. also guys. stopp with all those, fix it sam, do this sam, sam you need to do this and this. sam is currently busy with stw, he is a human, if you not like the game as it is right now stopp play it until the cheat is fixed. something i think many people here forget is that the game is in a early beta, it's not the final product. so all things can't be perfect.

It's no more inherently about sight  than any other platform is. There's also full head tracking combined with accurate 3D audio, I.e you hear a sound to your right, turn your head to face it and it is then in front of you, if that sounds any good? Also due to simulation sickness games often have modes that turn off complex movement, just teleporting between points.

While I do like the game, I'm confused, why is the dog more powerful than the wolf? aren't wolves suppose to be stronger than dogs?The rat is explained for the elephant, the dog thing confuses me.I took a look on wikipedia, if you can call that thing accurate, they have the wolf listed before the dog.It does make sense for the wolf to be more powerful than the dog.Maybe I'm just confused.I do like the game.At the time of this post, I don't do too badly against the computer set to good.I lose, but only just.It'll be interesting to play online, not enough people have it yet for me to test that feature.

It actually surprises me that more hasn't been done with tactile interfaces in general, not since rumblepacks. Where as in the nineties every generation brought a leap in graphics, these days graphics are at the point where things can be pretty much identical to film, indeed a little too much slicker and more perfect, something which causes endless problems in hollywood.I would've expected the next work in development to take computer reproduction of tactile sensations out of the realms of research labs and into something with practical experience value, especially with the craze for realistic motion sports games like wii sports etc, but instead it seems the games industry is as usual just based on what will pump out the most cash, ie, working on making games more like social media and more based on a continuous payment freemium system, than actually on the experiences of the games themselves. Then again, I freely admit my synicism is entirely self intereste
 d, since I still want my Snes back and good 16 bit .

I tried this last night and managed to win against the computer on beginner after some shenanigans. I agree with Firefly that there needs to be a way to know animal weaknesses since it's not always clear which is weak to what, however I'd suggest myself simply having an option for the rank of the peace to be spoken when looking at it, eg "rat 1" or "elephant 8" making this a toggle a player could turn it off when she/he was used to the way things worked and it provided too much information. I'm personally very happy with self voicing, indeed it's nice to not have to listen to realspeak daniel for once since I have him both as my sapi voice and on Ios, though i do wish there were a few more sounds in the game especially when peaces were taken or when you win or lose, though manifestly that's just an aesthetic touch. When I looked the game up on wikipedia though, it did state an optional rule to allow the dog to enter 
 the water to capture the rat. That might be a nice edition since otherwise I don't actually see how one player could win by taking all of his/her opponent's pieces since the opponent could just park the rat in the water, and as wikipedia said it's reasonable that a dog would be able to swim (well about as reasonable as a rat eating an elephant's brain anyway).

To be clear, this game is coded in C++ rather than BGT and it should build on pretty much any modern OS, but this also means that I don't want to tie myself too closely to the specific features of a given platform. It's not set in stone, but at the moment I 
 think I will stick with the prerecorded speech files.Regarding the sounds, the files in the sounds subdirectory are indeed all the sound files that are used in the game. As a matter of fact I did sit down and dig up sounds for all the individual animals as well as piece movement sounds, but I found them to be annoying so I left them out for now. However, that's not to say that they won't make an appearance if people think they would add to the game. Arrange the Tiles

Hello,"Arrange the Tiles" is a puzzle game that I've written using bgt. This version I put here is kind of beta version. You don't need to install it, just extract and play. I've written the instructions in the readme.txt file. My English isn't very good, so the readme file isn't very smooth, but I think it's understandable enough. I'll be really grateful for any feedback. Especially about the time limit on different levels, I think I've made a miscalculation. A guy who tried out the game told me that even the "very easy" level is really difficult. If you read all the steps needed to get JAWS at that reduced price, you'll notice that you have to go to their stand at the event. The closest thing, right now, I do to cosplay is write roleplay. But once I get a chance to go to a convention, I'd like to RP as Drizzt Do'Urden. For that I'd need to body paint myself black, get a long white wig, find a forest green robe and light armor and get a set of twin scimitars which I can find on Amazon easier enough. I'd need a lot of things which would cost lots of money. A very good friend of mine RPed as Dagger from Marvel Comics and she put lots of work into it.

Cruf, keep in mind that the more expensive metal options are designed for those who, if they have enough money for it, can support the development even more and play a role in kind of producing the game. Just like Space ENcounter. If someone were to buy the gold metal, for example, their name will be in the credits as associate producer, and they'll get an equipment and enemy that they create. Keep in mind that the that's adding a part of the game they need to voice. So it's totally fine if you just want the open version alone, your name will still be placed on the supporters page.

As for getting to the story mode in continuum shift, I had to go up seven times from where I was. Once you are in story mode, you can hit triangle to switch from technical mode to stylish mode.As for story mode choices what I had to do was basicly remember the last phrase that was said before going to the save menu. If you mess up on a part and want to choose a different choice in a character's story first hit start, and go up twice to head back to the story mode selection screen. And then hit r1 or right bumper for 360 it should bring you back to your last save point before you had to make your choice.So in case you forget, start, then press up twice, hit x or a for 360, hit r1, or right bumper and press a to bring you to your save state. If you can't remember what the last phrase was before the music fades, just keep hitting down and A or X for play station.Note some characters have alternate endings where you would have to lose in order to see them. 
 I have a guide for those characters.

nibar, alright, i agree the fact you don't like the idea. but that isn't a reason. people will cheat and get rockets and poison drinks without the points system, so cheating doesn't mean that my idea is bad. that's why we need sam to do something with cheaters. well, if you don't like spending points, that could be good if we had to search for weapons, pick them up as items. i just don't like the idea you have everything at the beginning. i want a player to be lucky and cool if he finds shotgun and some ammo, i want another player to kill him and take this shotgun from the corpse. that's worth fighting and killing

@dark the objective isn't to capture the opponent's pieces, it's just to weaken the defenses of the den enough that you can get in there, so you basically have to force your oppoent to direct pieces away from the den and stuff.

When the second explosion happens, which means you can move again, make sure its on the left. Do this for all dark matter. If its on the left, run until it stops. Else, don't move or you run the risk of running into it. Hope this helps.

I heard that there are problems with erroneous/unnecessary speedhack announcements in the latest version.Is there some patch to fix that problem?Now I got the same problem. I can't open the stw client. When I open it, it immediately says "Speedhack detected", even before I try to login. I have never used any kind of speedhacking.

I've made it as far as the level with the mountain, not because I had trouble but because I just never have time to play. Alcamy is kinda confusing to me if only because I don't know which items are which. I know square seems to mix things together and you press x when you're done putting stuff in. That's about all I know. Also the witch was super annoying to kill, on an unrelated note.

I had to devise a note to frequency function just so I could do it, and yes you can insert inharmonic partials by specifying an interval to add along with the normal sound. Only issue I'm having is the ASR envelope I tried to do with additive, the release seems to work just fine but the attack doesn't because I'm not a math wiz. I need a formula that will make the lowest frequencies fade in the shortest by setting their attack, and the highest fade in the longest, producing an upsweep in harmonics. There are three variables. amv for the maximum value of the attack, how long the highest frequency will take to fade in, harmonics, the number of harmonic partials being added, and I, in a for
  loop, the number of the current partial. Cae, can you come up with a formula for that? The formula I devised for release that seems to work follows.ar=rmv/(harmonics-(i-1));where ar, or at in the case of the attack formula, is the current release/attack for this partial, and rmv is the copy of amv but for release.

also this soundtrack has majorly changed it's syntax, I'm so used to mml I just decided fuck it, I'm doing mml. So now I have mml syntax in this thing, meaning the notes are lower case, p is now r, attack and release are now upercase, they also use the millisecond precision, which means more decimal places, etc. I'm gonna have to write a documentation of my own.

Hello,I began coding not a long time ago. However, when something doesn't work with my code I try to solve the issue with trial and error. The issue mostly gets solved, but I sometimes don't know why it got solved or what I did wrong in the code and that disturbs me. Is it ok to code with trial and error? Well, I have continuum shift for PSP, CS 2. After beating one story section, I get a list, I think, if choices. How exactly is that worked through? I think there are multiple menus to work through, but I’m not sure. There is a PSP emulator for Windows, and several places to find games, so if anyone who is generally good with the series could download and maybe even tell me how cancels are done, that’d be perfect. I try everything I know of from my experience with fighting games, but just can’t get it to work. I press A-B, like I would for a combo in Mortal kombat, I press a-b together, or milliseconds apart, but no luck. Neither can I get the jump cancel to work, and that’s as far in the tutorial as I’ve gone.

It should play the little mac OS boot logo sound thing when it's turning on.  If you have the 2015, you can check whether the mac is on by pressing on the trackpad.  If it doesn't give, then it's not on. You can navigate to the next spelling error with command+;, after which you press vo+shift+m to look at the list of corrections.  I think there's a more in-depth article on the mac's spell check on applevis.  Also, you can start voice over on the log on screen.  I can't remember where to go off the top of my head and a little busy at the moment, but if you can't figure it out after you read this message, let me know and I'll post instructions tomorrow or later tonight.

Go to system preferences, then to users and groups. Unlock it with your 
password, if you are asked or can’t work with the items you want, then go to 
log in options in the first list you come to, after the toolbar, then come out
